Pero I don't think it's really a policy of the store or of the supplier. Parang modus lang nila yan to limit the warranty replacement. Kapag hindi pumayag, escalate mo and make a complaint sa management.
Some of my receipts ay may multiple purchases kaya hindi nila magawang kunin ang resibo.
Bought the Omni 15w 1300lm daylight (1st pic) LED bulb to replace a sometimes flickering Omni 16w 1200lm (2nd pic) bulb. I thought the higher lumen and wider angle would provide better lighting sa dining room. Pero it was darker and yellowish.
I think plastic yung 16watter, but it's whiter than the new one (15watter) and definitely brighter. I placed the 15-watter bulb in our bedroom, yellow talaga yung ilaw. Hindi naman warm white, basta yellower than the usual daylight bulbs from GES or Philips.
using philips 9W LED.... still bright.... bought 5 years ago and used for a maximum 8 hours each day.... for comparison, the ccfl I bought before the philips only lasted 2 years...
Bought osram bulbs nung magsale sa Ace kahapon. Good buy ba osram? alam ko bulb sila ng oto eh ehehe
Philips din merong Automotive lighting... Osram seems OK brand tho... we tried their CFL ones too...
@redwing0001
Somehow yung japanese branded LED bulb advertises that it should be as long as 10 years... pero more than 5 years na it should be good and should stay longer at least 8-10 years at 8 hours daily usage
I think it will last as long as 10 years.... It has not dimmed as much as the CCFL did after 1 year, even after 5 years.... not supposed to be surprising info.... but considering it costs the same price as the CCFL back then and how bright it still is after 5 years, it is surprising when I think about it.
.... sometimes, I kinda forget I am using a 5 year old LED bulb day in and day out, and even as I type this, the keyboard is bathed with the LED light from the bulb...
Of course, I am using an almost 50 year old Sanyo lampshade that I got from the junkyard... hmm....
May LED ba na for ambient lighting(yellowish or amber)? I only bought white bulb na LED few years back sa ACE.
I am planning to use all LED lights for my new home and would appreciate a store recommendation na mura.

from what I know LED tube is supposedly direct not with Ballast... from FSL's LED Tube suggest that taking out the connection to ballast and started and the L and N wires should be on one side connector of the tube
no such thing LED tube with starter..... supposedly the LED tube's is the complete light (the driver is located near the connectors of the tube) and you can hotwire them depending on where their line is (and yes the Signage guys are that cheap just by hotwiring the electric wire to the prongs of the LED tube)
even FSL (Fo Shan Lighting) has no starter in their LED Fluorescent Tube fixtures just that their version is that the L and N (electric wires) are on the one side of the tube... actually nearly the same fixture as how T5 tube fixtures are (Sony's figure 8 connector even from PSP or Stereo unit to plug seems compatible on that too...)
Tried to different socket sa ibang room ok naman totally nakapatay. Tried other led bulbs to our rooms totally nakapatay din.
