Fractal Design Case Users Thread

  • Post deleted #11716296
  • Hi guys,

I hope you could help me here.
Just recently bought an Arc Mini R2 and I decided to buy another 120mm fan as an additional front intake. I bought the Corsair AF120 Quiet Edition but the screws won't seem to fit on the screw slots in the front panel. Do you guys know anyway to fit it? Or is it alright to use a different screw?

    Thanks :)
  • you can try a different screw. Or drill a wider hole on the screw slots.
  • The actual screw threads fit. Its just the head doesn't push through in the slot.
Do you know where I could buy case fan screws?
  • it will fit. it seems no to fit at first because of the rubber thingy on the screw holes on the fan. try loosen up the screw holes first before you install it to your case.
  • I mean the screws to the slots on the case. The front panel has some fan screw "slots" "bags". The screws that came with the Corsair AF120 head doesn't fit in the slot. And so I couldn't really tighten it enough for the screw to reach the thread of the fan.

    try mo yun ganito sir
  • @ melbourne47

Yup it wont fit. Use the generic ones that came with the case. Swap mo sha sa kasama nung Corsair.

  • Sino po naka Fractal Core 500 dito? kamusta po airflow and temps? thanks!!!
  • @JLSantiago
Thanks :D, I'll try to look for that around my workplace. Around Ortigas, near Megamall. If may alam ka na shop that sells that near my workplace, could you pm me? Thanks again :)

    @joxsfunk
Are there extra fan screws included? Puro for HDD and SSD tapos thumb screws.

    EDIT:
In case anyone else has the same dilemma. I switched the screws from the rear fan to the Corsair AF120 and I was able to install it on the front panel.

  • Pinaka painless build ko so far.

Sobrang tahimik kahit gaming or benchmarking at gusto ko yung monolithic and subdued appearance niya. ^_^

Very nice case sir, saan mo nakuha yung non-windowed version?
  • ^ Thanks sir! Sent you a PM.
  • Hi there, may mga user pa ba ng Fractal Core 1000 dyan? Tingin naman po.

Baka may mas masuggest pa kayo na Compact other than FD Core 1000?

  • Guys, pa help naman po current case is arc mini r2 gusto ko po sana tanggalin ung paglagyan ng odd kaso wala ako mahanap sa goggle or youtube. http://imgur.com/a/dCrRh

    Thanks!
  • ^most probably naka-rivets yan, you can use drill para matanggal yung mga rivets na naghohold sa odd bay or pwede din manu-mano using hammer saka paet.

  • Saan makakabili ng Core 1300 aside from DQ?
  • Kelan kaya magiging available yung Fractal Define C dito?
