mas cheaper by around 50 usd yung i7.

@vrendelltheghost
i7-7700HQ vs i5-8300H
Kung halos same ang price, go for Core i5-8300H dahil mas maganda specs niya overall:
- Quad-core with hyperthreading 4.0GHz max turbo (versus 3.8GHz)
- 8MB L3 cache (versus 6MB L3 cache)
- Built on 14nm++ process (versus 14nm+ process)
- Support for DDR4 memory (versus support for DDR3L memory)

Mas mabilis ang i5-8300H kaysa i7-7700HQ. You can verify that sa net.

Guys question naman will I benefit from a descrete GPU (MX150 for example) if I'll be doing mostly Lightroom, Photoshop, word processing, browsing the web, and watching videos?
Ito po kasi pinag pipilian ko sa dalawa.
Using onboard video:
ASUS VivoBook F510UA FHD Laptop, Intel Core i5-8250U, 8GB RAM, 1TB HDD, USB-C, NanoEdge Display, Fingerprint, Windows 10, Star Gray (F510UA-AH51)
With GPU
Acer Aspire E 15, 15.6" Full HD, 8th Gen Intel Core i5-8250U, GeForce MX150, 8GB RAM Memory, 256GB SSD, E5-576G-5762

Lightroom
What Is and Isn’t GPU-Accelerated in Lightroom
GPU acceleration in Lightroom is only available within the Develop module, so no other modules, including the Library module, will be accelerated. On top of that, not all the tools within the Develop module benefit from GPU acceleration either. So if you are wondering what specific tools are accelerated, below is the full list:
Panels:
Basic
Tone Curve
HSL / Color / B&W
Split Toning
Detail
Lens Corrections
Transform
Effects
Camera Calibration
Tools:
Crop & Straighten
Graduated Filter
Radial Filter
Actions:
Panning and Zooming
And here is the list of specific tools and actions that are NOT GPU-accelerated:
Spot Removal
Red Eye Correction
Adjustment Brush
Using Brushes with Gradient and Radial Filters
Loading RAW Images
Generating JPEG Previews
HDR Preview / Generation
Panorama Preview / Generation
Facial Recognition
Photoshop
A compatible graphics processor (also called a graphics card, video card, or GPU) lets you experience better performance with Photoshop and use more of its features. Also, display problems, performance issues, errors, or crashes can occur if your computer’s graphics processor or its driver is incompatible with Photoshop.
Features that won't work without a GPU
If your graphics processor is unsupported or its driver is defective, the following Photoshop features won't work:
3D
Oil Paint
Render – Flame, Picture Frame, and Tree
Scrubby Zoom
Birds Eye View
Flick Panning
Smooth Brush Resizing
Features that require a GPU for acceleration
Artboards
Camera Raw (more information)
Image Size – Preserve Details
Select Focus
Blur Gallery - Field Blur, Iris Blur, Tilt-Shift, Path Blur, Spin Blur (OpenCL accelerated)
Smart Sharpen (Noise Reduction – OpenCL accelerated)
Perspective Warp
Select and Mask (OpenCL accelerated)

Good afternoon, I am looking for a gaming laptop for work that does not scream gaming laptop.
Eto choices ko:
ASUS ROG Zephyrus M
Razer Blade 15
MSI GS65 Stealth
Aero 15
Dell G7
or kung may iba pa po kayong recomendation. (I could lower my budget)
Ano sa lima un may pinakamatibay na build quality at cooling system saka pinakamaayos na after-sales service tulad ng parts availability.
Salamat po.
