ano magandang firmware pang dual wan? palagi kasi nadi-DC ang online games kung naka dual, kaya isang ISP na lang gamit ko.

finally got a working dual wan with bandwidth limiter. im from stock version 130812 file (very old).
eto mga findings ko sa latest versions 136-138 sa mga di pa nakaka alam at balak din mag upgrade.
version 136:
*working vlan for dual wan
*broken bw limiter for dual wan
*broken QOS for dual wan
version 137:
same as 136 ang prob regarding those 3 aspects
version 138:
*broken vlan doesnt survive after reboot
what i did was go back to version 137, set vlan ids for dual wan.
upgrade to version 138 without clearing nvrams and now I got a version 138 with working dual wan
and bandwidth limiter, problem was only the downlink was limited, pero ok na sa akin to. -

Guys patulong naman. Parang hindi na kasi nag kakaron ng IP yung router ko from modem na naka bridge. Nung naka stock fw ako ng cd r king, yung hindi lang malagyan ng IP eh yung WAN port 1. Yung WAN port 2, okay naman. So nag upgrade ako ng FW, shibby v137. Yung dalawang WAN Port na, ayaw malagyan ng IP. Triny ko na palang mag generate ng MAC for the 2 WAN Ports, still no use. Yung status lang nya lagi is renewing..

have you fixed the vlan setting after upgrade? napansin ko lang din mtu mo is 1492, naka pppoe connection ka ba? -
^yes sir @frequency, inayos kona yung vlan base dun sa settings ng tut ng upgrade na nabasa ko dito. Nakita ko lang yang mtu na yan dn sa net. Ayaw dn kasi ng default (1500) eh.
Edit:sa screenshot nyo ko din po binase yung vlan ko.

diagnose mo lang, connect a lan cable from lan1 of the router to wan port of the router, pag nagkaroon ng IP yan, meaning ok yung router mo. may topak either yung modem mo or yung isp mo.
also it wont hurt kung mag try ka ng ibang ethernet cable. -

Ive been reading this thread for quite awhile , at nagpapasalamat po ako sa mga knowledgeable persons dito, kung hindi dito di k pa na unbrick ang 5358u . Salamat sa nagpost ng link ng stock firmware ng 5358u. I did a tftp method for unbricking .
Meron po ba kayo link ng working dual/multi wan ng chinese ver para sa 5358u? Mali nadownload ko na chinese version , kaya nabrick ang router k. -
nope, none of those will work on this router, kung gusto mo ng robust multiwan feature pero you dont mind loosing the wifi capability of the router, then install openwrt (only confirmed working on 5356u no comment on 5358u, do at your own risk) then install luci-app-mwan3. Mas functional yung mwan3 kesa sa kamatis dual wan, dami bugs.

^tried searching sa google about openwrt for 5358u , pero puro pang 56u . oo sir im experiencing intermittent disconnections sa game (2-4 disconnections per game). and may random na pagtaas ng ping.
im still greatful na buhay na ulit si 5358u ko -
^random disconnections and random ping spike is normal dahil tomato dualwan either stock or shibby made. Naka round robin based yung load balancing nila, having a policy routing will fix this but not for shibby, since policy routing by protocol or port doesnt work properly.

^it's a big nono.
max NAT speed ng CW 5356 and 5358u is 60mbit/sec in software mode, bcmnat can do all way close to 100mbps.
recommendation: buy a Nighthawk R7000. -

nope, wala pa rin bago sa daking.
the only products I see on their router section, is just those cheapo buy 1 take 1 crappy routers.
heck look at their SD Cards and Flashdrives, the only prices that I can say reasonable at price are the capacities 8-32GB, 64gb or higher is freakin expensive, and its been like that like 2 years now, In fact mas mura pa yung mga SD card (micro and full size) are much cheaper in Lazada, nakabili pa nga ako ng 128GB microSDXC card as cheap as 1,100 pesos sa sale nila with regular price of 1,800.
To be honest, at this rate, I can already see the demise of CDRKING for their cheap USB Flash drive offers and such. -

Upon trying yung sinabi mo, still no use. WAN port to port 4, no good still renewing pa din.
WAN port 2 to port 4, unidentified network. Ibig sabihin po ba neto nag ka IP na yung WAN 2?

Nalagay ko naman sir un ports ng steam but still not working po taas ng ping once nag enable ako ng QOS. Also pati pag nag bandwidth limiter ako ang taas ng ping.
