wala po ba talagang channel width option hindi ko kasi makita gusto ko sanang iset to 20mhz. :/
If you can set the (2.4GHz) channel to any number from 1 to 13/14, that means the channel width is 20MHz.

^you can set it manually via NVRAM, yes lahat ng 535x routers nawawala yung channel width after upgrade.
go login via ssh and execute
nvram set wl0_nbw=20
nvram commit
reboot

well I do use nxfilter as a some sort of DNS firewall, if I want to block all streaming sites, well you can just tick the check box on the filter labeled as Entertainment. Dont even bother trying running nxfilter on tomato since it requires at least java runtime package installed (available via Optware-NG) and a 1gb of RAM. But you can install it using raspberry pi 2 or better since it has 1GB ram, its only 2 commands away whcih is install via apt-get (nxfilter package) and enable the service via systemd and reboot configuration is done via web interface.
and afaik, dnsmasq is capable of blocking sites that is https, after all what dnsmasq do is to resolve names to ips (it doesnt care if the site is https or not).

Or OpenDNS, if you want something that "runs" on Tomato
-
polka
on
02 Sep 17 @ 06:29 PM #
^well you can do that, but only if you run on a public IPv4 space, I assume 80% of the residential and mobile connection are under Carrier Grade NAT already. So the chance that OpenDNS will solve his/her problem is close to nothing.

pag ibi -bridge yung tomato sa ultera papano ulit maaaccess yung tomato!
-
polka

13 Sep 17 @ 05:50 PM #
^well you only have to set a static IP for your tomato router, eg if your ultera ip is 192.168.1.1 then set tomato ip to 192.168.1.2
