Nikon 1 V1 and J1 Users Thread

  f/1.2 too expensive hehe. and the focal length has quite limited uses, unlike the 50mm-equivalent f/1.8 which is a great all-around focal length
  
  J4 has the 120fps 720p mode. and the multi-shot compositing that combines multiple shots into one lower-noise image, a feature that i find very useful on cybershots
  
  unfortunately it has a fatal flaw. no more IR remote :( i do hope it\'s got a wifi remote control feature otherwise i\'d have to scratch it off as a potential upgrade

  ganda nga talaga ng IQ neto considering na 1inch ito. meron kasi ifs sa olx(sulit) na j2/j3 around 17k kit. kakagatin ko na kaya? either complement of replacement ng d5100 ko. napapaisip pa rin kasi ako kung N series or M43 e.

  
  
  for 17k i wouldn\'t buy j2/j3. just look for j1 i believe they go for around 12k these days. then get 2 spare counterfeit batteries, a counterfeit nikon IR remote, the the excellent 18.5mm f/1.8 and you\'re all set to leave your DSLR at home haha

  That\'s what i thought to. para syang nakazoom agad to 32mm. kelangan sobrang layo ng subject to have a nice portrait with bokeh background. though sobrang okay yung sa low light, im sure ang ganda ng details ng kuha nun. but 30k+ pesos is too much. XD

  18.5mm f/1.8 costs around 10k pesos if im not mistaken. okay sya na lens so i suggest go get it. laging tinatanong ng friends ko ano gamit kong cam pag nagpopost ng pictures. sulit yan. :)
  the fixed focal length takes some getting used to, though.

  Bakit kaya pag kumukuha ako under flourescent lighting e may present na parang yellow/green bands sa pictures? minsan wala din naman, parang may times lang talaga na magkakaron. Pag normal lighting naman wala naman problema. sa lighting lang ba ito or flaw ito ng J1? anyone noticed this also?

  partly due to lighting. remember fluorescents flicker at around 60hz.
  
  partly coz these cams don\'t have mechanical shutters

  Hi mga sir, anyone here naka experience ng madilim ang nikon v1 nila sa viewfinder at sa screen, pero maliwanag naman kapag nag picture ka. Madumi lang kaya sensor neto or sira na lens ko?

  still using my J1 w/ the 18.5 prime lens. but it's getting kinda old. i might replace it soon
