    bakit non sense?
  • alternative medicine is basically change of lifestyle. hindi tinetake ito like medicine.

my mom was diagnosed w cancer and was given 3mos to live. and guess what, umabot sya ng 11 yrs.

drink 2ltrs of water pagka gising and dont eat anything for the next 30 mins.
i dont drink cold water. sa ref ko walang tubig. kung kaya 2 glasses every 30mins for the whole day. except pag nasa labas ako ng house o babyahe.
Alkali water as much as possible. I dont drink distilled.
i dont eat anything white. like white rice, white bread, white sugar etc... the darker the better. We eat red rice sa house. mascovado sugar lang and white bread ay banned sa house ko.
breakfast, we only eat raw foods. veggies, fruits, nuts, seeds.
Bawas if not eliminate sugar lalo na artificial sugar.

Live cell therapy (Stem cell) w/c is iniimport pa namin dati. i dunno kung meron na to locally. 2.5k per vial. 2 vials per day x 9yrs nya tinake ito.
she sleeps on a heated jade bed.
    regular massage/spa treatment.
and gazillions of vitamins and supplements.
at one point nag vegan din kami, zero meat intake, pero di namin kinaya.

Result is extremely good. na feature pa sya sa tv. sa magandang umaga bayan regarding cancer survivor. pumunta sila sa house pinakita yung mga iniinom nya, bed nya etc.

never sya na chemo o kahit anong radiation. pero aminado sya na maganda ang chemo in limited sessions lang. ayaw lang nya talaga kasi papangit daw sya.

I learned a lot from her. nung nawalan kami pera, wala na. tuloy tuloy na. ultimo red rice di na namin mabili. ang bilis nag degrade ng health nya.

so sa nag iisip na mura ang alternative medicine. you are dead wrong. suma total de hamak na mas mahal ang alternative.

sa dami dami ng ginagawa nya pati lifestyle change like special diet and lots of water how are you sure which one was the one what cured her?
or maybe none of the above cured her. What if she is just lucky enough to be one of the rare cases of cancer that gets better by herself? they call that

    Spontaneous remission
    From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Spontaneous remission, also called spontaneous healing or spontaneous regression, is an unexpected improvement or cure from a disease that appears to be progressing in its severity. These terms are commonly used for unexpected transient or final improvements in cancer. Spontaneous remissions concern cancers of the haematopoietic system (blood cancer, e.g. leukemia), while spontaneous regressions concern palpable tumors; however, both notions are often used interchangeably.
    ...
Frequency of spontaneous regression in cancer

It has long been assumed that spontaneous regressions, let alone cures, from cancer are rare phenomena, and that some forms of cancer are more prone to unexpected courses (melanoma, neuroblastoma, lymphoma) than others (carcinoma). Frequency was estimated to be about 1 in 100,000 cancers;[2] however, in reality this ratio might be largely under- or overestimated. For one, not all cases of spontaneous regression can be apprehended, either because the case was not well documented or the physician was not willing or literate enough to publish, or simply because the patient did not show up in a clinic any more. On the other hand, for the past 100 years almost all cancer patients have been treated in one way or the other, such that the influence of treatment cannot always be excluded.

At least for small tumors the frequency of spontaneous regression most likely was drastically underrated. In a carefully designed study on mammography it was found that 22% of all breast cancer cases underwent spontaneous regression.[3]

its good that your mother got better but was it spontaneous remission or a real cure or even placebo effect because of something she did or take? we'll never know because your sample size is only one. The only way we'll know for sure is to get a few thousand people with the same cancer at the same stage and have them exactly do what your mother did and then crunch the statistics

the placebo effect is a real effect. We can measure it objectively like in the levels of endorphins in the blood

anecdotal evidence is of very limited value
  • anecdotal evidence is of very limited value

Indeed. Just because one person did this and did that and had something positive turn out it doesn't mean anything. It's anecdotal evidence, which is the worst form of "evidence." Does anyone even recall noni juice? A few years ago it was a craze and lots of anecdotal evidence came out from various people claiming it cured a lot of things. Fast forward several years and where is noni juice now? Relegated to the trashbin of stuff that never really worked.

FYI. She was never cured. no one said she was cured. Her cancer is there all along.

yung cancer nya NEVER nag regress,. literally andun lang, never lumiit, pero di nag progress.

You see ikaw na mismo nagsabi na knowing is battle half won. That is true.

keyword dyan ay change in lifestyle.

The things she did/took worked in conjunction with each other. HINDI mag wowork yung ng wala ang isa. lahat importante. very concious effort but it paid off.

    WALANG ONE MED CURE ALL.

Like Noni juice. Noni is good, but useless kung yun lang.

That is SOOOOO STUPID!!!

  • Spontaneous remission

oh btw, may kakilala ako na nakaranas nito.

    tita ng kakilala ko lang.

may cancer of the lymph nodes sya, mahirap lang sila so di talaga mapagamot, as in ang bilis ng pag laki ng bukol then pumutok na, mabaho and all.

then one day, paalis sila, sobrang sakit daw, pumasok sya sa cr, then di nya alam ano nangyari pumutok as in parang pigsa na sinuka ng katawan yung bukol. dumogo ng sobrang itim na dugo, then nung tumigil yung pag durugo, nag flat yung bukol nya then after a few days she felt good. kaya lang after ilang months ng tumubo ulet mga bukol wala na tuloy tuloy na din. I guess that is one very good example ng Spontaneous remission. as in nawala yung bukol nya at nag ok sya ng wala naman talaga sya ginagawa.
  • ^P R A Y E R
  • and my mom did last for almost 10yrs. even her doctors. who swears she will die in 3mos kung di maalis tumor nya and di mag undergo ng chemo, admit that what ever she is doing is very effective and ipag patuloy lang. But still they insist na kung maalis yun tumor at ma chemo mas ok at maging cancer free sya. I honestly think tama naman yun.
  • FYI. She was never cured. no one said she was cured. Her cancer is there all along.

how do we know that it was all of them cooperating or only one of them or maybe none of them that caused the cancer to become stable? maybe another person with the same disease doing the exact same thing would have a different outcome

there are cases of spontaneous remission where the cancer doesnt get cured, stable lang di lumalaki for years

may cancer organization that does the same thing. that is why I can say na "HINDI RARE" case ang nanay ko. NOT TRUE.

again let me reiterate, "WALANG CURE ALL". no such thing.

my mom did "nothing fancy". she just tried to eat as healthy as possible. gave her body all it needs to recuperate.

you dont have to believe if you dont want to. im not trying to convince you. what im trying to say is for those looking for alternative solution, eat right, live right. na sa panahon natin sa ngayon ay napaka hirap gawin.

NO SUCH THING.
  • kahit alisin ng alisin ang tumor babalik pa rin yang kasi hindi yung cause ang ginagawan ng solution..and chemotherapy itself is a cancer..its like killing cancer with a cancer..pinalitan mo lang din so baliwala...eat the right foods....food matters.. =) hth
  • .eat the right foods....food matters.. =) hth

    agree

have them make a well designed study with their method. publish a paper in a peer reviewed journal and they could win a nobel prize

  • knowing is battle half won
not true... there are battles you can\'t win...

better is you can choose a more appropriate plan if you know your opponent.

anecdotal evidence is of very limited value

According to conceited scientists. Herbalist have long cured certain ailments using the same herbs and this is the result of ancient studies/observations or discoveries. Just because their studies was not reviewed in science journals does not mean it\'s ineffective. I had read somewhere before that to fight aids a certain group of scientist were inspecting studying various herbs/plants and animals that may have the potential cure.

  • A possible cure for Dengue was found and it\'s the lowly papaya leaf!

  • necro'd haha. Ok yang apple cider. Umiinom kami nyan.
Get rid of all added sugar. If possible limit up to 10grams of sugar per day only. Look at the labels sa delata or sa food packages. 1 teaspoon of sugar is 4.2grams. Limit carbs in your diet. Cancer cells feed on sugar if you starve them its possible to get rid all cancer cells. Live on ketogenic diet until gumaling ka or kung sino man ang may cancer. Ketogenic diet is high fat medium protein and very low in carbs usually 20 to 35 grams of carbs per day only.
