google wifi = pldt fibr + rental (as long as subscribed ka) of the google mesh wifi
pag pinaputol/downgrade to normal pldt fibr plans, balik sa kanila ung google mesh wifi
@avid_007

@avid_007
I have finally received my April 21 bill.
Wala pa rin charge ng transfer of address as of this bill.
@Speed
Speed isn't as good as before since I transferred here but not slow to the point na makikipagtuos ako ulit sa CSR.

@Blu3martini
In your latest bill, updated na billing address mo? As you said before there was already an existing line/connection in your new address, and PLDT didn’t recognize it as new installation in their system. Or maybe they waived it when you sought NTC’s help.
Did somebody from PLDT call you shortly after the installers have left, just to check if the activation went well? i got charged the transfer fee so I made sure I requested for rebate to cover for the days we weren’t able to use the service while waiting for the completion of the transfer. So it is like additional 200 pesos only in our current bill.
As for the Speed, it is most likely area-dependent as well as the quality of the Fibr installed in your home. We probably moved to an area where speed is more consistent, and there was a speed upgrade before the end of 2018. In our old home, my brother often asked me to restart the modem every other day because the speed was like the slow-moving traffic in EDSA...and that was after we upgraded to Plan 1899. We hardly felt the speed boost at the time because it was still generally slow 2/3 of the time.

Yes the address was updated since the belated march bill last month.
I do not know if they took into consideration the old installation and/or as an appeasement to NTC but it's a small consolation for that very long of a wait time.
Somebody called us to check if the landline worked, not really for activation.
Somebody did came the next day to audit the installation, the installer and my speed.
The line status is good so I think there's just more subscribers here in a subdivision.
From what I remember in our previous address, I'd say subscribers on our LP would be 12-16 max since nobody seems to bother getting fibr along the main road street(it's 90% establishments rather than houses after all with the secondary streets probably getting the magic magic , overspan or hazardous treatment.

Hello everyone,
I just talked to a CSR about my application and was able to confirm that I have already an account number. I said na may nakikita akong SSN na PLDTHomeFibrxxxxx everytime I use my computer when using my smartphone's net connection as a hotspot. So gumawa siya ng report and ang sabi ni-re-stage niya yung application ko.
What does "restaging" mean?

^ normally gumawa lang si agent ng follow up email about your application... mas maganda kung tinanong mo kung meron job order no dahil pag meron ay nakapila na yan sa subcontractor lalo na pag new application at magiging depende na yan sa galaw kung magkataon na madispatch sa area mo yun personnel nila... kung walang jo ay for endorsement pa yan kay subcon

Question lang po.

Anong klase pong throttle? Download speed cap po ba?
Data usage cap po ba?
At araw araw po ba at what specific time?

as per my experience, no (medium-medium heavy download/upload user).
That said, may times na biglang unwatchable ung twitch streams / youtube live (minsanan sya) at certain times (usually 7-11pm) pero ndi lahat nadadamay dito.

^ ampanget nmn throttling konti nga lng yung 25mbps e. dapat sana ndi na ino offer sa residential yung malalaking bandwidth pang company na para walang damay damay. if residence you will have slower but unrestricted speed however kung gusto talaga premium e you pay for an exclusive price. d tulad nito na shady yung rules
^^^ yes pwede yung nabibili sa cdr king

Taas pa rin ping to Singapore servers ah...
Hello, former PLDT here. Currently Globe ISP.
Just lurking and saw this. Take note na most of the online checks are not reliable. For example: PUBG Singapore.
We are currently region locked. No matter how high your ping is if your IP is a Philippine IP you will get SEA server.
However since December 2018, PUBG acquired server from IBM (SoftLayer). They migrated all of their SEA assets to SoftLayer and while doing so decreases the chances of getting an Amazon EC2 server. Approximately March 2019 SEA servers are now under Softlayer.
So say Globe has good peering to Amazon. But that doesn't reflect in-game. Ping check tool tells me I should be getting 30-50ms. But instead gives me 245ms.
Anyway if you play PUBG and want to check your ping then you can ping the IPs below. You'll get your average this way.
ping -l 64 -n 10 119.81.69.46
ping -l 64 -n 10 119.81.76.93
ping -l 64 -n 10 119.81.69.35
ping -l 64 -n 10 119.81.39.109
There are more. Like 10 more that I have recorded. But those 4 should be fine. You can trace route those IP if you are curious.
So if I were to play PUBG I use Mudfish which is a cheap on-demand VPN.

@eaforlife
I'm getting 75ms average on 119.81.39.109. First 4 gave me 119, 114, 112, 113 ms pings respectively.
They migrated all of their SEA assets to SoftLayer and while doing so decreases the chances of getting an Amazon EC2 server. Approximately March 2019 SEA servers are now under Softlayer.
Good to know. Currently I don';t play PUBG, but just to check my pings on SEA servers, TH and SG mostly. I was playing Tree of Savior which uses Amazon EC2 servers in SG w/o the help of mudfish, battleping or pingzapper before with low pings in the 60s. Now I'm getting at least 200ms that makes the game unplayable for me.

I'm interested in using Fibr soon because according to my friends, its cheap and efficient. This thread have opposite responses. I think I better think twice.

good day po! question lang po. kaka change lang namin kahapon ng plan from DSL 1.3k to fibr1,899k. bago po umalis si kuya na nagpalit ng modem namin. nag speedtest po sya using his phone and the result was 26mbps both DL and UL. pero nung nagtry na ko mag speedtest nung umalis na sila, less than 10mbps nalang on both DL and UL. i called the 171 and the agent told me na sa system nila, hindi pa totally na change ang plan ko since its still on DSL plan.

^ try rebooting your modem or unplug and replug mo power adapter (kung hindi mo kabisado yun admin access) then speedtest using smartphone via 5ghz wifi, kung ganun mababa pa rin ay itawag mo sa 171-products & services at irequest mo for speed increase/adjust... sometimes kasi pag hindi pa confiigured yun line mo ay nakakakuha ka pa ng mataas pa sa 25 mbit and if this is your case ay iwasan mo muna tumawag sa 171 just to enjoy yun speedboost
