Official PLDT Fibr thread (No piracy topics or hints)

  • Help naman po, Paano po ba gagawin from 10mbps naging 1-5mbps na lang ang speed ko. 1 week na ako tawag ng tawag sa PLDT wala naman improvement. Sana may makapansin at makatulong. Ngayong araw pawala wala ang internet ko. Nakakaiyak!!!

    I think lahat or mostly bumagal talaga ang speed due to marami nasa bahay so marami rin gumagamit. I am supposedly getting 100 mbps but I have been getting 50-60 mbps since the enhanced quarantine started. Di na ako nagreklamo kasi more than enough narin naman yun. Yun lang after the quarantine is over, I'm expecting balik sa normal.

    Isang oras ako sa telephone kakaantay sa pldt kasi nawalan ako ng internet connection. Naibalik naman un connection kaso un mbps hindi niya maayos. Nagawa niya na daw lahat ng troubleshooting pero same speed 4-5mbps Download and 0.75 UPLOAD. bukas daw may tatawag sakin sa maintenance department daw. Sa bahay kasi namin 1st to 3rd floor kanya kanya ng wifi. 10mbps naman un sa 1st and 3rd floor pero kaming nasa 2nd floor ang may problem un speed. Huhuhu

    Yung sakin, Wala pa yang enhanced quarantine mahina na talaga from 100mbps bagsak kBps-3Mbps lang ang DLspeed ko oks naman yung Uploadspeed..isang buwan na tong issue ko na to balik lang sa Normal paghating gabi 12am-10am
  • Palaging nag-reset ang router ko ilang beses sa isang araw. Bumabalik sa default wifi settings pati na rin login ng router. From 4pm onwards, almost wala ng internet. Minsan bumabalik pero almost 1mbps lang speed. Okay naman speed 6am to 3pm. May dumating na technician, direct lang nila ang fibre wire sa router pero pagkahapunan same issue pa din.
    Baka may idea kayo bakit ganito nangyayari sa connection ko. Thanks

    Same here although di ganyan kababa Yung download speed. Usually malalaman mo yung accurate speed pag nag Windows update ka or if naginstall/update ka any program. Pero yes 12am to 10am pansin ko mabilis pero afternoon to night mabagal na. Most of the time ako lang gumagamit kaya namomonitor ko.

    Do you use 5G connection also?
  • sakin thiss week lang biglang bumagagal... tapos ganun kahit ssa araaw... pansin ko bumibilis lang sa madaling araw... tapos balik ulit... sa speedtest ang taas ng ping (>100) agaist pldt qc server... ang weird no... ang lapit lang naman sa area ko... may magic na naman silang gingawa...

    sa globe ba may mga ganiton issue din? plano kung mag switch after lock down...
  • ^unfortunately lahat ng ISP is experiencing congestion as of now, madalas sa converge but twice the trouble, high ping and slow speed. sa globe naman same lang experience with PLDT, meron araw na ok meron hindi, minsan ok speed pero mataas ping or vice versa.

    im also experiencing slow speed now, though not that bad, instead of getting 100mbps, umaabot lang ng minsan upto 80mbps, though this is rare, still on public IP so the issue with Carrier Grade NAT (which is high ping, ok speed) is not a issue for me.

    I need a little help.
    Intermittent/putol-putol ung internet namin.
    Plan 1699 VDSL
    Nag start ung issue namin nung palitan ng vdsl router namin. Ung baundtec na may dalawang antenna
    Naging 15+mbps sya. But then nagsabi ang technician na kailangan daw bawasan ang DL speed para mag karoon ng magandang SNR connection. But hindi sya complete natapos ni tech kasi si other tech daw ang pupunta. (Issue unresolve pa rin)

    Q. Kelangan bang pa-babain ang DL speed for better SNR sa cable para di paputol-putol ang connection?

    Q2: we tried mag apply ng Pldt Fiber last Oct ang sabi ng representative hindi daw fiber box ung box na malapit sa house namin. Pero walang nag survey ng area. Pero may nag tip saamin na technician na fiber box talaga un. Nag apply ulit after few months. Na-ubusan kami ng port (insert rage here: ). May pag asa kaya mag karoon ng bagong box or look for another options.

  • Usualy nakaka 150-200 ako sa speedtest.net ngayon nasa 100-120 mbps well its good naman kaso dami users
  • Simula ng nagpakabit ako ng PLDT araw araw masakit ang ulo ko. 2 weeks pa lang tong plan ko 1299 parang gusto ko na lang ipaputol. Laging pawala wala ang internet tas ngayon 3mbps lang ang download at 0.10 ang UPLOAD. Sobrang dissappointed ko. 3 years pa naman ang lock in nito hindi naman pala worth it. Sayang lang sa pera dapat nagpakabit na lang ako ng iba. Ayaw ko na.

    don't worry hindi ka nag iisa at marami kayo. hehe! pero meron din naman may maayos na connection. ang nakakalungkot is pwedeng ganun din ang experience mo kay globe or converge. baka mas maayos pa si pldt. hehe!

    the best thing you can do is report it to PLDT and make sure na meron ka ticket number, don't let them close the ticket hanggat hindi pa resolved. if ever naayos na, then you can apply for a rebate basta may ticket number. almost 2months din nakuha ko rebate nung nagkaproblema kami last time.

    Ayan po may ticket no. Tumawag ako ulit ngayon nagfollow up kasi sobrang stress ko kay PLDT kagabi wala na naman kami internet. Tas ngayon meron na naman pero sobrang bagal. Sabi ng nakausap ko mag wait daw ako 3-6 days pag may available na technician kasi possible na may problem daw sa wiring or sa poste.

    pa help naman po. Na enabled ko na lahat ng LAN 2 3 4 sa PLDT Router sa pag access ko ng admin ng GUI. past few days di ko pa sya nagamit kahit enabled na ung LAN 1 talaga ay may internet.. tpos kahapon pag Connect ko sa LAN 2 gumana.. tapos mga bago mag 5pm kahpon nawala na lang bigla.. tpos chineck ko ung GUI is ok naman at naka enabled pa naman pero wala ng Net.

    na try ko na din i restart ung router.. disabled and enabled ulit ung LAN ports..then restart... tpos ngayong umaga.. nag connect siya sa LAN2 pero walang net kahit i ping o ipconfig ko sya. anu pa kaya pede ko gawin para magka data ulit ung LAN 2?
  • para iwas sakit ng ulo, get another router or at least a switch

    2899 ka ba? Swerte naman. I usually get that range before the quarantine. Now rarely umaabot past 100 unless I use 5G connection.
  • Hi. Anyone here using Viber? I noticed that messages are delayed since yesterday when connected to Fibr compared to using mobile data. I get a notification but messages do not instantly appear. Are you experiencing the same? Thanks.

    if your having a disconnection issue, then yes its necessary to slow down the speed to get reasonable SNR, its up to you, a stable connection but slow, or a fast connection but intermittent connection.
  • Minalas pa kung kelan may Quarantine saka nag red-blinking yung LOS LED ng PLDT Fibr namin. Biglaan lang nag ganun kahit hindi nahihila yung wires sa loob ng bahay which is weird. o_o

    If LOS pero may dialtone, sa PLDT mismo problem not yours.

    maybe you are at a disadvantage due to distance? Your plan is only 15mbps and it can be remedied by re-profiling your speed even without slicing your subscribed speed if only just that you belong to 500m limit.

  • at yung mga meron po scheduled technician na pupunta sa bahay or area to check, expect na din po ng delay since naka enhanced quarantine pa po tayo :(
    they are also minding the safety of their staff kasi exposed po sila sa field at depende din po kung yung area na pupuntahan is may sariling lockdown requirements
