ang wala tayo access is yung super admin not unless you sign a waiver.
  • Your street may not have any vacant fiber ports to move you to. First time for me to encounter a 100Mbps VDSL account. Are your upload/download ~98Mbps up/down?

    @Limang

    Yes, 100Mbps VDSL, DL - 100Mbps naabot UL - max 40 Mbps

Sana may makapansin, thank you.

Same here, tuwing mag sisimula ang ulan , na wawalan, kaya indicator ko yan na paulan eh pag nawalan ng net. Mga wala pa 5 minutes bubuhos na ulan. Sa poste yan sir. May exposed circuitry or kalawang, last weekend, sinundan ko ung tech sa pag isolate, una sa box namin, tapos sa distribution box nila, okay naman daw, tapos may inakyat syan poste, dun kami naka terminate tapos may pinalitan, so far since last Sat, tuwing umuulan di na kami nawawalan.
  • @sivited
Yes, just tested the ports again and connected my 2 laptops into eth 3 and 4. 4th eth port is not working. It keeps getting 7.131.128.1 as default gateway.

  • @BCFreeman>>

That means you are a lucky guy na naka-open ang ETH ports. :) I need to add a gigabit switch connected to port 1 para madami maka-connect
  • @meraldace

TIA

  • ^ that would depend on the modem. at least the modem i have don't have it (or may be hidden).

but i have it in my separate router, which is a Tomato (FreshTomato) flashed router.
  • question po ulit mga paps, mag 2 weeks palang fibr plan ko, can i pay my monthly dues sa pldt apps sa celfon? bat kaya ayaw mag register acct no. ko sa apps?
  • @All who have modified their fiber modem (GPON terminal)

Have you observed appreciable improvement in your Mbps (up/down) or latency/lag?
  • @limang
what do you mean by modified?
  • May outage ata ngayon?..
  • @frequenzy

Changing settings within the fiber modem.
  • grabe bagal naman ...

  • Anyone have high ping issues? I'm from the Caraga Region, and since today afternoon, my ping has been really high. Download speeds are shot too. Speedtest doesnt show it but my real world download speeds are currently at 50kpbs, give or take.

  • hello guys. using the stock PLDT router plan 1699. bakit hindi makita ng devices ko ang SSID name ng 5g? for ex. ang SSID ng 2.4 ay 'WIFI 1'. tapos ang SSID ng 5g ay 'WIFI 2'. lumalabas lang ang WIFI 1 pag nag search ako ang network? thanks.
  • ^

check mo muna if wifi 5GHz capable ung modem (ung lumang black 2 antenna wala un) phone/laptop/tablet mo. If yes pero walang lumalabas, bka nalimutan i-enable ng installer. Either itawag mo ung 171 or gawa ka paraan makuha ung admin login at ikaw na mismo mag enable nun.

  • @meraldace baka ikaw lang me kaya magbayad ng 100Mbps kada buwan.

Areas migrating from DSL to fiber tend to have subs who can pay for the service on time.

DSL networks tend to stay stagnant if there is no projected economic improvement.
  • New account application or transfer of install location tip:

If you are transferring to a new location and want wired internet ready for you on day 1 of transfer then apply for the new account or transfer of install location of account at least 30-60 days in advance.

Why so early? Kasi naman all ISPs are overloaded with new accounts and broken accounts so you have to give them early enough lead time to do their work properly.

Example: You found a new place but the area has full ports. It will take time for them to ID occupied ports with terminated accounts that your account can use. This typically takes 30-60 days to accomplish.

This is assuming the outcome you want is internet connection on day 1 or earlier.

Mahirap din na day 10 ka na and still following up for first connection in your place.

  • So a PLDT tech visited us today to check out why our upload speed is capped at 50Mbps. He did the usual troubleshooting steps - checked the fiber line to make sure it's good and verified that the account is configured for the correct speed profile. He even swapped the old modem to a new one but still the same result - 100 down and 50 up. First time daw niya maexperience yung ganyan and couldn't figure out why so. He'll keep the ticket open and monitor ko muna baka daw mag improve overnight.

I'm starting to think baka sa NAP or sa OLT ang issue. Hays. PLDT is still the best ISP (especially with international peering) in our area kaya sana umayos na to.

  • Was the speedtest done using LAN connection?
  • Was the speedtest done using LAN connection?

@artsky - Yes, speed test was done on LAN connection.
  • @ambient_88

Can you try the speediest using 5GHz WiFi connection?
  • @ambient88
hopefully maayos yung sayo sir, ako wala na time tumawag pa.
  • @ambient88
Vdsl ba yan or pure fiber?
  • @Exposure
I think he mentioned it before na fiber yung line niya.
  • I was under the impression na pag pure fiber same or magkalapit ang upload and download speeds, not sure though

Update sa line, ko, balik walang dialtone ulit at handshaking palagi. Still waiting na mamigrate sa fibr facility
