Umayos na yata latency ni Google.
Well, medyo mataas pa rin compared sa 18ms na nakukuha ko before the earthquake, pero pwede na rin.

Either hindi pa up and running ang relief capacity, or
gaya ng nangyari nung ASE fault, hindi kinakaya ng relief capacity ang demand sa bandwidth.

Umiikot na ung PLDT techs to change old modem.
Ung black na fiberhome na 2 antenna (AN5506-04-F , 2.4ghz wifi lang meron) pinapalitan na daw nila. New model HG6245D (white na 2 antenna, meron 2.4 and 5ghz wifi). Matagal lang ng onte kasi busy din ung taga-activate. Bridge mode pa rin.
Ung sabi ng tech, kung magpapa bridgemode, tawag lang sa 171 no need waiver.

^ mukhang papalitan na ng ganyan modem yung ONU ko.. until 94 Mbps lang kasi then cat6 na gamit ko LAN. the tech tried also to enable LAN 2 remotely, sabi niya 100 Mbps lang naabot pero naka set na daw sa 150 Mbps. Ask ko sana kung ano super admin password since hindi ko ma-enable dati yan kaso naisip ko papalitan din ata pagpunta ng tech. Nakalimutan ko na nga din yung admin password kasi pinalitan ko mismo para wala maka access na naka connect sa network ko.. Hehe
Update sa +50 pesos speed upgrade plan 1899, naka schedule na today pumunta tech. Pero malapit na mag 12 nn, wala siya. Anyway, sabi ko naman available ako anytime since restday sa work.
Buti may tracker na ganyan at alam mo status ng repair ticket mo dati kasi wala ganyan bigla na lang Ok na daw status ng report mo.. hehe

Wag mo na ipa-open LAN2 sasakit lang ulo mo. Mas madali (kung kaya naman ng budget) bili na lang ng 8 port gigabit switch (~1.5-2k ung tplink/dlink mga shops na nasilip ko).

Actually may switch pa ako hindi nga lang gigabit..
Sanay naman kasi dati hindi lumalagpas 100 Mbps yung speed.. Ngayon lang dahil sa Speed upgrade ni PLDT, hehe..
Ayan yung switch ko , industrial switch na 100 Mbps Phoenix contact. Bili na lang uli ng gigabit switch pag lumagpas na sa 100 Mbps speed.

Update: may tumawag pala technician thru landline early this morning at nakausap mother ko. Sabi niya no need na daw puntahan at ok na daw. Ano ba malay ng mother ko na hindi techie, hehe. Hindi man lang ako kinausap personally at binaba kagad yung phone.
Kaya nga pinapuntahan ko personally para makita niya yung actual status at kung need palitan modem. Filing a complaint tuloy ako..

^ report mo kagad sir.. Mabagal umaction PLDT, then tuloy tuloy pa rin bill niyan at hindi ka makakakuha rebate hanggat hindi ka nagrereport..
Request for a ticket number thru 171 or kung pupunta ka sa pldt office.

In fairness to PLDT, ung request ng bridge mode within 24 hours lang ok na.
Ung 'unoffical' bridge mode (superadmin+configure it yourself), im just getting 80mbps sa plan ko, ung binalik ko sa regular setup (routing mode sa PLDT modem), im getting the full speed.
Now, with the official bridge mode, im getting the full speed now.
