  • Good day sa lahat,

I've been experiencing it for several weeks now, especially at night. I always got 80-100+ ms ping every game even though I have around 600 Mbps with 2 ping when I speedtest. I already contacted LoL support and they replied that the fault lies to my ISP.
Can anyone please tell me how to reroute my connection to RIOT?
  • ^ its part of congestion normally. I also experience that. athough its a bit better now but not on lol but in Fall guys and Fortnite

hindi ka nagiisa, eversince nung cable break hindi na nila naayos yung latency issue at night. sa tingin ko rin wala na pagasa to other than to change isp.

30 days capture, consistent yung pagtaas ng latency tuwing gabi

  • Hi guys, newly (returned) PLDT subscriber here, on Plan 1699 now.

Any idea why?

Na if ever I need to access the PLDT ONU again, kailangan lang bunutin ko yung Fiber cable para maging local address lang siya? Or something else?

3.) Hindi match yung IP Address sa WAN Information compared to dun sa mga nakukuha sa public net, does this mean naka CGNAT ako and that wala ring silbi na mag Bridge Mode pa ako? Or may benefit pa rin ba to using Bridge Mode even on CGNAT?

    Thanks.
  • 1. do your client (pc/cp) have an ipv6? are you directly connected to the modem? are you on route-mode? too many variable to determine the cause.
    2. "safe" in a sense na mababalik mo? yes, if you are adventurous enough, you can always revert to the original config. but most here have limited speed when doing self-bridge, you can only rely on your own experience.
    3. yes, you are on cgnat, and most likely on route-mode, -- for the next questions, the answer will be, if you are asking a question, most likely, you will not be affected on what config you have. being on bridge or having an external ip (non-cgnat) will only have an impact if you need it (hence, you will not ask the difference since you *need* it)
  • ^ thanks sa reply.

1.) Ultimate bobobels me haha, nakalimutan ko i-check yung PC ko of all things, not sure kung bakit ko in-off yung ipv6 sa network adapter level before. Turned it on, nag pass na yung test.

3.) I had some applications before where I needed to be a host, like hosting a private server or hosting a P2P game, that was back when hindi pa naka CGNAT yung IPv4 tapos madali lang mag Port Forward dati though. It's a pretty fringe use case now at least, so I don't think I'll need it anytime soon, pero in the event na kailangan ko, kahit mag Bridge ako di pa rin maoopen yung ports fully dahil sa CGNAT unless it's IPv6 ba?

For now di ko muna i-Bridge since I don't really need it pa, maybe turn on UPNP for now pero securisk din yun eh kung di ko naman kailangan, in theory wala naman dapat performance issue kung di naka UPNP eh but some weird connection stuff with PSN and Nintendo servers has proven me wrong on that sometimes haha. Gonna plug in the 3rd party router rekta na lang since wala naman siguro problems ang double NAT

  • Are my eyes deceiving me? Dota 2 has a 40 ping now, which is my usual ping back before everything went to shit.

Is this real life? Can someone please check it out?

  • ^ can't corroborate sadly, although 'di DotA2 linalaro ko, in any case yung ping to international is terrible for me still yeah (Japan specifically), although first day ko pa lang sa PLDT so eh

I moved my vpn back to the US instead of Tokyo the other day. The connections to the Japan server have been too slow every evening for many weeks already (< 1mbps). The US server is better, so far.

Should have read this before I applied... ughhh, starting to regret getting PLDT haha

Will ride it out for a month or so muna. If only wala lang itong mabagal-every-night syndrome, it's generally being better for me than Converge.

If this doesn't get fixed by then baka mag pa early-cut na lang ako...

  • @Zekira

    generally better how?
  • @Gink

Usually in terms of international routing, mas ramdam siya if you do either peer-to-peer gaming (e.g. most fighting games), visiting less-popular sites, among other things
  • File a complaint to NTC ([email protected] and [email protected]), and PCC ([email protected]). Make sure complete details mo (ticket #, acct number, phone number, account holder, address) Effective yan, pramis. Make sure hingi ka rebate from 2nd of March.

Merong tatawag from PLDT sa iyo. My issue was slow browsing and it took PLDT 2 weeks to resolve, escalated to NTC. Voila! Issue resolved after a day, and got a rebate of 2,400 :)

Makakakuha ka for less than P500.
  • Yung landline namin, pang test ko lang if my cellphone can still receive calls.

Other than that, I haven't used it to call nor receive any calls.
  • lagi na lang nabagsak connection speed starting at 8:45 PM but my ping seems to be stable

  • @ceejaybassist917

its either your running adblock package on your openwrt router or gumagamit ka ng DNS server na meron adblock capability, if thats the case normal lang yan.

to eliminate that false positive errors punta ka sa DHCP & DNS and uncheck Rebind protection.
  • @polka oh that's why, naka adguard dns ako. is it safe to disable dns-rebind?
  • just ignore the logs, it's not advisable to turn off anything with "protection" in it.

if you haven't googled it yet, dns rebind is where a host is being resolved to a local network IP -- e.g. gmail.com is redirected to 192.168.x.x which is your PC, and a malware in your PC is listening thus getting your password. openwrt (and most competent router) protects this kind of vector attack by not resolving it.
  • @filipinX

    > Can connect up to 6 devices
    > The router only supports a WiFi connection. LAN ports are disabled.

    Sayang. Ekis agad.

    @plan 2099

Musta speeds nyo? Officially 400mbps pero ano nakukuha nyo (wired, either FAST.com or steam/origin/ea or other file sites like onedrive/gdrive)
  • Guys,

Dun sa ONU firmware vRP2841, meron ba sya changelog?

Manual Bridge Mode ba pwede parin ma capped yun speed mo sa 100Mbps lng
  • my PLDT Fibr Plan 1299

Any pure Fibr 1299 non-legacy users here having 25-50 mbps?
  • fiberplan 1299 din ako.
    am getting these speeds

nagdowngrade ako nung december (plan1899 to 1299) and initially getting 50mbps only.
i tried paying thru paymaya last January (even though ung maya speedboost promo nila eh til last dec31 2022 only).
since then, i'm getting boosted speeds.
