etong PLDT. hassle pala sakto due date magbayad. putol pa din after a week. thru website nila na nga nagbayad. at naconfirm ang payment.

^Sa experience ko sa Maya ako bayad pag sakto due date. Oks naman so far, ala putol. Halos same day posting kasi pag dun.

ako naka PLAN1299, kakadowngrade lang last week from FIBER PLUS PLAN1799..so far ok naman ang PLAN1299 naka 210mbps sya..sulit kahit gamit pangdownload ng games..bilis naman sya.

ako naka PLAN1299, kakadowngrade lang last week from FIBER PLUS PLAN1799..so far ok naman ang PLAN1299 naka 210mbps sya..sulit kahit gamit pangdownload ng games..bilis naman sya.
kelangan ng brasuhan para ma-downgrade to 1299, last week nag-try din ako mag-downgrade, and sabi hanggang Feb na lang daw sila nagdowngrade. pero ngayon, sabi ko may "kakilala ako" nag-downgrade to 1299 (which is you), na-downgrade naman -- they tried to offer a mess+lock-in, I just said no. and it was processed.

^btw. I came from 1899 last month, getting 300Mbps then, downgraded to 1699 and got 400Mbps (upto now), it's unbearable slow at night -- and all I do was read manga/manhua and it's too slow to even just read images.

1 week ng mabagal ang FB at YT sa akin. Pero pag nag speed test or Fast.com nasa 200 mbps naman DL/UL.
Sa YT nilagay ko na sa 144 ang resolution kasi audio na lang papakinggan ko, kaso buffering pa din. Partida naka LAN cable
pa yun. Sa WIFI naman ay medyo ok ang speed, Ano kaya problem?

ganyan din un 1299 plan ko eh, pero may add-on boos pako na 50php (connected din sa 5ghz at LAN 200mbps DL/UL, pag 2.4ghz, nasa 75mbps naman)
If aalisin ko ba yun 50php na boost, baka bumagal ako? sayang kasi 600php din un sa isang taon haha!

that's normal, it's your device that has a problem, my devices here can do upto 180Mbps sa 2.4Ghz, yung lowest is 130Mbps (backread, I have a guest before and best he can do is 75Mbps too), this is not a PLDT issue, rather a limitation on technology that you own.
If aalisin ko ba yun 50php na boost, baka bumagal ako? sayang kasi 600php din un sa isang taon haha!
? backread (kahit this page lang), I just downgraded, so it's plain 1299 - I'm not sure about your 50php...

sa mga nag pa downgrade po from higher plan to 1299 sinabi sa inyo na regular speed lang ang makukuha nyo like 75 or 50mbps lang un kasi sbi skin pa downgrade sana ako from 1699 to 1299.

^ Yes, when I called yesterday, they are insisting that my current 1699 is 400Mbps (Since i'm a long time subscriber, this is not a speedboost but the actual speed of my plan), and 1299 is only 50Mbps, (1/8th the speed), and asked if I'm sure I want to downgrade, and offered me a mesh(+lock-in) instead, I just said, yes, I want 1299 even if it's only 50Mbps - but after 5mins, I got 200Mbps instead

^ same here sir long time subs narin ang sabi lang sakin 50 mbps lang daw mkukuha if i downgraded to 1299 medyo hesitant lang ako kasi bka nga d gaya nyo is mag stay tlga sya sa 50mbps.

The thing is, It's very *easy* to upgrade. so if ever that it really falls to 50Mbps, I'll just upgrade - using the webform, they will call you 2-3days, or just call again, there's a prompt for upgrade, so it's win-win situation for us

So no lock-in when you upgrade? coming from no lock-in period and doing an upgrade will be the same as no lock-in? My worry is lock-in as this PLDT is just a pansamantagal or bitaw anytime as this long time latency issue has never been fix.

If your already out of contract, upgrade will not re-lock your contract, unless you get the "free" mesh - they will insist on it, and only mention lock-in once, once you forget that the "free" mesh has a lock-in, that's the time you will be locked. But the upgrade will *not* put you in another lock-in unless they provide something that warrants it -- e.g. mesh, or sometimes they will give you a "discount", just don't agree on anything they offer, just get the upgrade and it will not put you on lock-in

Those Mesh offerings are not worth it for me(not even AX or Wifi 6 ready). Good thing di ako kumagat noong first inofer nila, I bought my own Xioami AX3000 (2800php) which is a super upgrade from the default ONU wifi. 2 storey house, nilagay ko sa 2nd floor sa may hagdanan since nasa gitnang gilid yung stairs namin at solve lahat ng wifi connection issue.

Thanks sa response sir baratzi, ang nangyari kasi nun nagpakabit ako ng PLDT for plan 1299 last October 2022 lang, inoffer agad yun +50php speed boost (if I remember correctly, sabi ng CSR is plan 1299 50mpbs speed then +50php is mag kakaroon ng additional 25mbps) so total speed is 75mbps (which is my 2.4ghz speed).
Una ko nakuha na router is old, walang 5ghz wifi, pinapalitan ko agad, then ayun nag connect nako sa new huawei modem nila via 5Ghz at wired, nakukuha speed is 194-210mbps both DL/DL, kaya naask ko agad if yun sa inyo ba is 2.4ghz.
Ngayon yun speed boos ko na 50php parang nakakahinayang haha, if same din pala nakukuha ko na speed via 5ghz/wired, useless na yung 50php? if aalisin ko naman, baka bumagal ako. kaya di ako sure if dahil ba sa speed boost na 50php kaya nag 200mbps yun 5ghz/wired ko or natural na talaga na speed (sayang kasi yun 50php x 12 = 600 din pang milktea hahah!)
