Anong brand/ kulay po pinaka bagong onu modem ng pldt ngayon? May nakausap ako lineman/technician may bago color black daw. Open na lahat ng LAN port. Ewan ko kung totoo sinasabi nun.

ahayzz PLDC ang weird ng connection ngayon 11gigs downloaded for 45mins pero hirap mag open ng facebook :D
speedtest.net = 1ms 50.95mbps DL 104.75 UL
testmy.net = 930kbps DL 1.6Mbps UL

Tumawag ka sa 171 or visit a pldt branch, tanong mo if pede i-enroll sa switch promo yung approved application mo, tingin ko naman pede yan. If not, I would cancel it and apply for switcher promo, 5K php is a lot, pede ka na makabili ng magandang router dyan to connect sa walang kwentang ONU modem ng pldt, hehehe!

Hindi ko na talaga mapagana 234 kaasar. Nag restart lang ako ng ONU bigla na lang nawala. Napagana ko pa naman mula kagabi kala ko magtutuloy tuloy na hayz...

Same experience ko din pala yan, dati pinagana ko yung lan 2, gumana naman pero disable ko ulit dahil wala naman ako paggagamitan, then nung nabasa ko yung PM mo, I tried activating it again, ayaw na gumana, its wierd. I tried calling 171 and sabi nung technical support it needs to be activated at their end, tumawag daw ako tom dahil wala na daw tech na gagawwa.

wtf okay na kanina eh... tapos ngayon biglang what. Nasira nanaman ba? Yung ping ko sa certain people in Japan from 117 naging 600+ within less than a minute, lol.
EDIT: wtf tapos while I was typing that, um-ok na ulit. Ang gulo.

Yup, marerefund mo pag walang facility sa area. Kaso hindi automatic, kailangan mo pa magpunta sa business center nila para magfile ng refund. Ganyan nangyari sakin dati.

I think they have fixed some links to HK already. Getting 50mbps to interoute vdc server on speedtest.net as well as improved ping time from 200ms to 56ms. Back to normal programming, i guess.

I've also been getting slightly improved connection back to Japan, but not back to as 'good' as pre-cutting yet. Also, if I get the 49.x.x.x ping it's like the cable cut is still happening with the horrible ping, but the 112.x.x.x is giving me much better international connections. lol...

Argh that ping talaga, hassle. Sana maayos na kasi ang dami kong dependency sa pag connect sa Singapore.
Also, normal lang ba yan na 10Mbps lang tumatama kahit 20Mbps plan ko? Since it's abroad after all and we know how shit PH's international infra is. Tumatama naman between 18-19.5Mbps kapag sa PH servers ako nagconnect. Medyo hassle lang kasi na restricted to 1000 kBps pag stream sa twitch dahil 10Mbps lang connection sa SG, pangit tuloy quality

Tried calling customer setvice regarding the activation of lan ports, they said that they only allow only 1 lan to be activated, if I want to activate the other ports I need to hire a private techincian do the the job, wth!?! Sa kanila 'tong fibr onu modem na 'to tapos maghire daw ako ng technician, tsk tsk!

I think this is a known issue. Its not a bug its a feature daw to prevent hacking or some excuse. Try mo i bridge mode then use a wifi router

Still waiting for the router to arrive, funny thing is eventhough you check activation of the other lan ports on the broadband settings they still dont work.
