Globe LTE Users Thread (no piracy, torrent topics/hints)

  • Within lock-in and you want to pre-terminate?

    Consider writing a letter of suspension.

    Suspension means you want the account to stop working for a certain amount of time and restart it at a later date. So the unused portion of your contract is pushed back a few months.

    If you really want to terminate then you will need to write a letter of pre-termination so you will need to settle the unfinished part of your contract and a pre-termination fee.

    If you are done with your contract then write a letter of termination. ISP cannot stop you from doing this unless you have unpaid months.

    Writing any of these letters will require the following

    Date of Letter

    * What type of Letter you are writing and explaing what you want to do
    * Account name
    * Account #
    * Account landline # (when applicable)
    * Account billing address
    * Account install address (when applicable)
    * Account Plan (Monthly Service Fee)
    * Account name's govt ID
    * Account name's signature
    * Account name's authorized rep with govt ID (if you cannot do this personally).
    * Timeline of when the letter's instructions will take effect either at the end of this billing cycle or within 30 days whichever is soonest.

    Options to send this is through

    * Over the counter at the ISP's store or office
    * Email
    * Twitter
    * Facebook
    * Hotline

    When doing over the counter transaction you should request a receiving copy to make sure they dont "lose" your letter.

    Be aware and be polite to the ISP's employees as they are trained and ordered to persuade you not to terminate, pre-terminate or suspend.
  • Mga sir ask ko lang po if pwede ma openline ang B315? i am currently subscribed to LTE plan 1599 10MBPS 500GB pero pag nag speed test ako nasa 3-5MBPS lang siya and kahit nasa 200 meters away from tower lang kami bumababa sa 1 bar ang signal. im thinking if i can lock it in a certain frequency will solve my issue.
  • ^ kung B315-936 yan paps pwede openline. if 938 admin access lang pero pwede na yun para makapag lock ng frequency.
  • ^ B315-938 nga po mga anong frequency po ba ang available sa ganyang modem? and ano po yung frequency na ma rerecommend niyo, just so you know po we are just 200meters away from tower and line of sight po ang tower. pero yung b315 ngayon nag 1-2 bars lang ang signal, bat ganyan
  • ^ band 3, 28 at 41 lang supported ni 938 which is yan lang din madalas na available sa globe. dito sa area namin paps band 41 ang mabilis. pero mas malakas signal ni b3. baka hindi globe tower ang katabi nyo paps? kase dito samin kahit 1km layo ng globe tower samin, full bar ang signal kahit walang antenna.
  • for sure na Globe tower paps ksi sa phone ko full bars then and if mag speed test ako sa mobile data umaabot ng 100Mbps, pero yung router namin 1-2 bars lang and kahit palitan ko ng prepaid simcard with gosurf pag nag speed test ako same 2-5 mbps lang nakukuha ko. defective po ata ang router noh? kasi pag tinransfer ko naman ang sim card ng plan ko tlga which is plan 1599 to a mobile wifi, na aabot niya din naman ang subscribed speed na 10mbps.

  • Which band po ba ang mas maganda? Band 3 or Band 28 or band 41? or should i just leave it to auto band. please i need explanation po as to why i should choose which band po. thank you po tlga sa makakahelp
  • ^ area dependent ang speed paps kahit sa pagpili ng band frequency. tulad dito sa area ko b41 pinaka malakas ng globe. mura lang naman pa admin access. baka dahil defective din ang antenna kaya mahina ang speed.
  • Band 41 on my area is shitty po and also band 3. band 28 and band 40 lang ang stable sa area ko po. and since bands 41,3,28 lang kaya ni b315-938. so yeah. does band 28 get congested din po ba?
  • ^ yup. mostly mga phones at prepaid home wifi naka konek dyan since malakas maka penetrate sa mga walls.
  • @jeffpar0721 sa agent ka mag apply na nag ooffer ng mimo plans. pag sakop ng area nyo ung mimo plan automatic ipapconvert nila yan.
    sa case ko naman hindi sakop ng mimo pero sabi ko sa csr, may tumawag sakin sa loyalty department ng globe na nagooffer ng upgrade to mimo plan. then ayun pinrocess ng csr ung upgrade to mimo.

    @jeffpar0721 ilang months pwede iupgrade sa MIMO 20Mbps 600Gb sir kasi LTE 5Mbps 150Gb lang din area namin

  • ayos lang po ba hayaan ko na lang maputol ang globe at home ko kahit may remaining balance(btw 2 years na po ko naka subscribe). di naman po ba mag hahabol si globe?

    mas makakatapid kasi ako sa gosurf 90 since di naman ako heavy user. i barely use 50gb a month lol

    mas makakatapid kasi ako sa gosurf 90 since di naman ako heavy user. i barely use 50gb a month lol

    hindi sila paps. kaso masisira credit rating mo pag kumuha ka ng bagong plan sakanila or sa ibang telco under your name. mas ok na magbayad paps kung kaya naman bayaran.

    I am a GLOBE AT HOME 1299 (up to 10mbps) subscriber. Ito lang available sa area namin kaya wala akong choice for now. Okay naman sya except lang pagdating ng midnight na nawawala ang internet saka tuwing 7am at 12noon. Minsan kahit ilang beses mo na restart yung B315s-938 modem ganun pa din. Walang throughput. Ano bang pwedeng gawin? I have admin access at nilock ko sya sa LTE- TDD b41.

    RSRQ: -12dB
    RSRP: -104dBm
    RSSI: -73dBm
    SINR: between 5- 13dB

    Meron din akong Globe provided na external antenna.

    these past few days this is my problem po. i have tplink TL-WR840N router used for WIFI and para sa QOS po and it is connected to the B315 provided by globe. and these past few days po bigla po nawawalan ng internet connection si tplink pero pag kumonek naman ako sa b315 meron naman internet. ginagawa ko po is factory reset talga. what should i do po? please help po apaka hassle na po talaga. it usually happens po every 24 hours.

    Try mo disable wifi ng modem.

    Ano ba IP ng modem at ng TP Link mo.. pwede mo manual IP ang WAN ng TP Link lagay mo sa pinakamataas na IP. .254 or 253
  • ^ Me nabasa po ako na try ko daw sa out of range na ng DHCP like sa 300 yung dulo. ganon parin po nawawalan ng connection tlga every 24 hours.
    right now naka dynamic IP and na clone ko na din ang mac address ng PC ko to see if may problemas parin. if ganon parin po try ko yung suggestion niyo. thank you po.

    other than that po ba may any other ways po ba in case na mangyari ulit?
  • ganyan din problema ko noon sa b315. may nagcomment dito, di raw stable ang ganito modem. ang suggestion, palit ng maganda modem. pag nawawala connection, nirereset ko na lang. ngayon back up na lang sya pag nagdown ang DSL.
  • wala sir eh, hanggang LTE lang sa area namen. pero next month daw magkaka fiber na dito. hoping na sana matuloy. nag latag na sila ng fiber eh.

    ask ko lang. may way pa ba na mapabilis yun globe prepaid mybiz wifi router. B310AS yun model.
