*Globe LTE Users Thread (no piracy, torrent topics/hints)

  • Update: tried isalpak yung broadband sim sa phone ko sayang kasi eh naka-off naman na modem since may bago na kami ISP. No service na tas nung binalik ko sa modem, red light na at restricted service. Kaka-apply ko palang ng request for termination of account kanina haven't heard since then. Disconnected agad? Haha

    Paano ka nakakausap ng agent? Itatawag ko sana yung bundled home phone kasi may charge na naman ako at hindi ko maview yung bill pero invalid daw yung # sa OVR
  • @oweneighty 9am-5pm may agents. 211 tinawagan ko unang option yun talk to an agent. Globe Platinum customer service daw sila. Not sure kung may access sila sa billing pero you can try

    Sila na yung tatawag sayo. Pag nag 211 ka parang robot or automated na diba. Sabihin mo ano concern mo by pressing blah blah numbers. After ilan mins/hrs ( I think kung kailan maging available yung agent) saka tatawag sayo.

    Natry ko na tumawag recently, ganyan na daw procecss. Saka medyo weird, di sila makapagcater ng ibang number unless yun provided mo lang or pinantawag. Ififile mo ulit ng request/issue.

  • So na disconnect na yung bb bundle namin tas yun broadband pero la pa call from credit department. So ano ty na yung balance ko sakanila? Isang malaking thank you globe yun kung magkakataon haha
  • Unang tawag ko wala din yung option 1 tas chinambahan ko bigla nagkaron. Yung pinatawag ko under LTP lang bale prepaid parin yun di postpaid and weird.

    Oo, try mo ipangtawag yung concern mo na number. Medyo maarte nga eh. Dapat lahat na lang ng concerns pwede mo iraise para isang tawag na lang. Abala eh.
  • from the start of the month apaka useless ng band 3 sa area ko around 1-2mbps lang. but these past few days biglang nag 20-30mbps na. mga sir ano sa tingin niyo ginawa ni globe pag gumaganyan network nila?
  • ^Nacheck mo ba SINR sir? Kasi sa akin dati ganyan din Band 3 kaya nasa Band 41 ako lagi pero lately napansin ko lumakas si Band 3 at gumanda SINR, most likely may mas malapit na cell
  • ^ yes po nasa 20-25 na SINR dati naglalaro lang 10-20. by the way ask ko lang sir if which is better. band 28 with 15Mhz bandwidth or band 3 na may 5Mhz bandwidth? kasi po in terms of distance walang problema ksi were just 200 meters away from the tower and line of sight tlga
  • Ganda ng SINR niyo sakin before saya ko na pag umabot ng 10 yung SINR ko. Usually negative or around 4 lang. 3 towers kasi yung nakasakop samin so ayun nag aagawan sila.

    Galing din ng globe eh terminated na account ko tas I'm requesting mawaive yung termination fee pero la parin tumatawag.

    Nagtry ako kanina around 4pm wala pa rin. Di kaya select areas or SIMs lang pwede makatawag? Nakakaasar
  • @oweneighty weird. Dati wala din kasi sakin tas eventually ayun nagkaron lang din. Try mo kulitin yung self-service portal.
  • ^Sinubukan ko na lahat ng options sa IVR, bottomline e magsesend sila ng URL for self-help. Wala talagang talk-to-agent

  • i would like to ask if you can use your globe lte postpaid sim on another modem (non globe)? will it still limit 5 users only?
  • paps goodbye nako talaga sa globe lte, na approved na cancellation ko without termination fee kahapon, tumawag globe kahapon regarding sa termination of contract and insist ng agent na i have to pay termination fee kasi sa january pa daw matapos contract ko, i insist na more than 3 weeks nako slow internet speed and hindi nila na fullfill yung 60% promised service nila sa contract, iniwan muna ako sandali ng agent at kina usap boss nya yata then pag balik nya approved na ako without to pay termination fee, buti na lang na approved 5k plus din yata yung termination fee na yan, sana a maayos na ni globe service nya sa postpaid kawawa naman mga nagbabayad ng tama tapos 1mbps lang nakukuha.
  • ^ buti paps na waived termination fee mo, meron silang largest network upgrade na matatapos sa 2021, sana nga mag improve na yung connectivity nila,

    yes pwede naman, basta openline modem, yung limit naka depende sa device kung ilan kaya na wifi user

  • @beatot: gano katagal ka bago natawagan? 4th day ko ngayon ng '24-48hours' waiting for call from credit department walang tawag eh. Same issue tayo. Termination kasi slow browsing and waiving termination fee. Ang reason for waive ko wala naman sinabi sakin na may renewal ng lockup period pag nag upgrade ng plan.
