  • Just woke up this morning. Hopefully they won't abolish daily capping for old plans.
  • Musta ang connection ng Globe tattoo home LTE or DSL sa Guadalupe Nuevo area? Walang kwenat ang Sky broadband.

    first 6hours @2mbps = 5.2Gb
    next 18hours @500kbps = 3.8Gb

    so that's where the 9Gb per day is coming...
  • Ilan ba speed kapag na reach mo na yung monthly data cap sa bagong Globe Home LTE? Totoo ba na 30% nalang? Halimbawa para sa plan 15mbps eh 4.5mbps nalang kapag na reach mo na yung 80gb cap?
  • hanngang bukas na lang pala ang globe wimax. may pumuntang messenger, binigyan kami ng tattoo kit. iddisconnect na daw kasi sa bi sa letter ung wimax sa april 1. ang inaalala ko lang ung data limit. tapos gosurf ung pinaparegister samin na 1 month
  • ung niregister nyo ba na binigay ng globe tattoo LTE kit e ung gosurf999? nabasa ko kasi sa booklet na kasama 5gb monthly ang data allowed? grabe kung ganon.
    BTW, speed test ko nung dumating ung tattoo is 1mbps. amppp! check ko myang gabi kung magbabago

    yes, untill March 31 daw ung wimax. so April fools, putol na suppposedly to. kaya pala puro DNS problem ako sa amazon central kahapon pa.
    i guess they made it discreet na ilipat ang customers sa tattoo/LTE modem para one step ahead pa din sila sa hackers. samin din, kanina lang, with hard copy of letter. pati wife ko nagulat sabi ng messenger bbgyan daw ng modem. buti na lang di pa kami nakakabayad ng monthly hehe un lang, ang pinalit is worst.

    check on my post on the previous page... they gave me that flier and said that they will remove WiMAX sa area namin ng October 31... December na napalitan yung WiMAX ko to LTE... iniisa isa lang siguro nila ang area... and most likely hinde pa mawawala ng April 1 yan...

  • After downloading ~26GB of "Stuff" for a few hours, the 12.5Mbps went down to ~4Mbps...

  • sir babalik din yan, ganyan yung akin nung mga nakaraang araw. nasa 15mbps haha
  • Parang di na-reregulate daily capping. Sana di alisin previous fup for old subscribers.
  • May problema po ba sa globe, hindi ako makapag log in sa PSN mag 1 week na, salamat!
  • psn works for me... (just purchased and downloaded a game earlier...)
  • may problem talaga sa psn, 3 connection ko pati sa smart lte ayaw, sa pldt lang nagana, kahit download at log in sa PSN may nalabas na error.

  • Globe rep called me earlier to update my WiMax. Sana okay pa rin yung signal at walang data cap as per contract ko (di ko naman nararamdaman yung cap).
  • Mga paps, simula May 6 po kasi may problema na yung WiMax ko. Pawala wala ang connection. 8x na ako tumawag sa CSR pero paiba iba sila ng sinasabi.

    Merong nagsabi na kailangan nang i-migrate ng LTE kasi hindi na serviceable ang WiMax at phased out na. Kaso may data capping so sabi ko ayaw ko ng ganun. Una pa lang sinabi ko nang ipapaputol ko na lang kasi alangan ako pa mag adjust tapos sinabi may termination fee.

    Merong nagsabi na irerequest na lang na i-retain ang dating plan ko na unlimited hanggang sa sabi tatawag after 24 hrs then installation ay 3-5 days. Walang tumawag. Walang nag install.

    Tumawag ako ulit at ganun pa rin sinabi.

    Hanggang sa tumawag ako ulit kahapon kasi mahigit 1 buwan na akong nag aantay at kahit 1 technician wala naming pumupunta, sinabi sa akin na hindi na daw pwede na maretain yung unlimited so sabi ko ayaw ko na tapos okay na daw i-waive na lang termination fee kung gusto ko. Naputol ang call tapos after noon totally hindi ko na magamit internet ko.

    Dati kasi kahit papano nakaka load pa ako ng website kahit inaabot ng 5-10mins bago magload ang 1 webpage. At dati nakakagamit pa ako ng Twitter. Ngayon totally hindi maka connect pero may signal pa din na 4 bars yung modem. Ibig sabihin ba nun automatic nang putol na plan ko sa kanila? Kairita wala man lang matinong advice.

  • Still on WiMAX? you have no choice. either migrate to LTE or disconnect the service. that's the only choice you have.
  • anyone familiar with globe tribe? ano pong difference nito sa mga available na mga broadband services nila?

    anyway, Tribe is just like netflix/hooq/iflix, it's just another streaming video service.

  • meron akong account wimax plan 899, need daw migrate to LTE.
    tanong lang po may charge ba ang force migration to LTE? and still 899 parin ba babayaran ko monthly

  • I'm on the same plan (899) and no charge, they will just replace the modem, and everything will be the same -- same speed and same cap -- which is good, since yung LTE plan has a lower cap then the WiMAX plans, yung katumbas ng plan 899 is 1099 with only 20GB per month, the plan 899 will still have 3GB per day (so around 90GB per month)
