Akala ko ako lang may ganyan sentimento sa Bird Box. Hahaha dinaan lang talaga sa acting yung end of the world setting. Ikaw na bahala mag imagine sa chaos sa background.
for me okay lang naman, the approach perhaps is ma-feel mo yung na-feel nung characters.
still the ending was meh. yun lang yun? hehe

Forgotten (Netflix)
Korean mystery/thriller movies are out of this world. It's like they are the only race in this planet to master the craft.
Anyway I couldn't summarize the film without giving too much details so I just copied the premise posted on Netflix.
When his abducted brother returns seemingly a different man with no memory of the past 19 days, Jin-seok chases after the truth behind the kidnapping
The movie was good. Kept me guessing from the start until the big reveal. It was okay until it got cheesy towards the end. Siguro 2/3 of the movie I would rate 4 out of 5 while he remaining 1/3 is slightly lower than that. Maybe I wanted more mystery na ala Nolan ang dating. But all in all it's a good mystery movie. Better than the last mystery movie I saw La Durantr Tormenta or Mirage which is also available on Netflix.

Last of my movie passes. Sayanh di umabot sa Spider man far from home.
Anyway it's your typical action thriller movie. Plot has been done before but its decent naman and worthy of your time. Di naman kasi panget ang istorya. I dont know if magugustuhan nyo yung non linear narrative pero it made the film okay to watch. Magaling yung bida and she is very stunning.
Anyway this is a review lang and not a recommendation coz I used a movie pass. Im not sure if my opinion is the same if I paid for it pero okay naman sa akin ang story.

4/5 - Like the movie "
Upgrade", I am a sucker for well made futuristic/dystopian low budget/independent films.
*Loved the narrative of Mother
*Great and polished animatronics and special effects
*Great acting for a movie that just had 2 actors on screen, a voice actress, and a guy in a robot suit
*Clara Rugaard is a new film crush haha

RIP Manoy.
Some of my favorite Manoy movies:
Public enemy no. 2, Maraming number two - classic/retro comedy with matching makulit na sound.
May Lamok sa Loob ng Kulambo - talk about sexy-comedy... Id prefer this type than RomCom. Lolz
Marami Ka pang Kakaining Bigas - good old pinoy action. w/ manoy's touch of comedy
Boyong Mañalac - great pinoy action that time. (Naalala ko din pamato ko to sa tex)
On the other hand
Maria - 8.5/10
- Story is common but Christine Reyes portrayal to her character is somewhat convincing. What surprised me was the improvement on the fight scene not that impressive but finally. This movie is definitely way way better than Buy bust
