  • ^yes! Ibalik si Andrew Garfield! Hahahaha I hate Tom! Lol

Mas GG Disney sa pag alis ni Spidey sa MCU dahil binibuild up sya as the next big superhero of MCU.
  • Angel has fallen

    Rating : 2 out of 5

same sentiments..disney/marvel ang gahaman sa pera, remember they also killed ironman to take that profit share/back end off of robert downey

"Far From Home recently became the most lucrative film Sony’s ever made.
Disney appears to feel that its stewardship of the franchise and the ties to the MCU films (like Avengers: Endgame, which eventually added a Far From Home trailer as a post-credits scene for its theatrical release) are responsible for those numbers, and it wants a bigger piece of the PIE"

Kasi siguro tom holland's version of spider man was born out of feige's brillant mind starting ng with civil war. The we saw the character grow in succeeding mcu films particularly infinity war and far from home so gusto lang siguro i-widen ni marvel yung grasp nya kay holland spiderman kasi idea naman ng marvel ito in the first place.
  • Angel Has Fallen 2019
    9/10

Nagustuhan ko siya since realistic ang story and i like how Gerard and Morgan played their roles (as always).
-1 lang sa obvious na mga CGI's
  • @deadmanwade

kaso bottomline is, Disney: Teamup=100%, Solo=50/50.

share ko lang. nandito yung initial arrangement/deal nila noon: <click here for link>
  • Teamup=100%

  • Texas Killing Fields (2011) - 8/10

  • Lahat naman ng big companies ay greedy. sino ba naman ayaw kumita ng pera? yung 50/50 offer ng Disney e negotiable. shempre mataas lagi unang offer. ang mas may problema dito e Sony. feeling nila kaya na nila pantayan ang ginawa ng Marvel kay Spider-Man on their own, which we all doubt kasi alam na natin ang galawang Sony. kaya rin sila ang sinisisi ng karamihan over Disney.

di naman kelangan ng Disney si Spider-Man e. nagthrive ang MCU even before Civil War. pero integral na sa kwento si Spider-Man. di mo sila masisisi na for two movies, sila trumabaho pero barya lang ang kapalit. natural gusto nila marewardan properly for their efforts.

kelangan ni Sony si Spider-Man. sya na lang ang big earner nila. nasilaw na naman sila sa pera at nakalimutan na Disney at Marvel ang dahil kung bakit highest grossing Spider-Man film ever (at highest grossing Sony film this year) ang Far From Home.

Spider-Man is my favorite comic book character. im hoping this gets resolved. pero kung ipipilit ng Sony ang gusto nila at gagawa ng third movie without Marvel, i will boycott that movie. in fact, i fully expect na kung ano mang release date ng Sony Spider-Man movie, tatapatan yan ng Marvel ng mas malupet na movie.

Sony owns the rights for the movie, why would they allow Disney to get 50% off the box office of their own ip? Disney also has 100% of merch sales from the movie. Sony can still be successful look at spiderverse and venom. Those movies are still box office success even without involvement of Spiderman. Spiderman can stand on his own even without the MCU. I also don't like that how the MCU portrayed him, ginawa masyadong fanboy ni Iron Man.
  • - pwede bang i buy back ng disney yun movie rights ng spider-man?
    - i am on sony's side objectively. they own the rights. afaik, they share the profits of the solo spider man films with disney, then yun mga MCU films na guest si spider man, wala share si sony.
    - i agree na after endgame, mas need ng MCU si spidey. inangat ni rdj yung iron man character, mahihirapan sila tapatan yun. this time marquee hero like spider man na inherently recognizable na sa mga tao tulad ni batman ang pwedeng pumalit sa kanya.
    - phase 4 lineup - ako lang ba or parang mga hardcore comic fans lang ang maeexcite dito? binibuild up ata yun shang chi pero di ako naeexcite. sa blade ako naeexcite, and hindi pa kasama sa phase 4 yun.
    - for marvel, since wala na si spidey, i railroad na siguro nila ang paggawa ng x-men at fantastic four movies.
  • Glass - 8.5/10

This was a great movie if you're not expecting a superhero type movie, I mean it's an M. Night Shyamalan movie, you should be expecting a twist.

Just like what Mr. Glass said it's an origin story of how the super human beings started maybe there are others out there considering there's an organization determined to silence them.

I don't get why it got bad to average reviews, did they expect avengers type movie? Most people were probably expecting a grand showdown in the finale, you know the typical formulaic ending for a superhero movie, where Dunn is revered as the superhero that defeats the super villain (The Beast). LOL.

This was the same issue that the Watchmen movie had because it was negative, too dark, brutal, and superhero with a lot of character flaws, vulnerable and they were expecting superheroes with outstanding morals and are always the savior. But I believe the movie is now getting good reviews and is becoming a cult classic.

because marvel did all the work in Homecoming and Far From Home. because the 50/50 offer also means marvel will co-finance. marvel/disney ang may creative control sa MCU spider-man, so lahat ng aspeto from pre-prod to post-prod sa kanila. alam mo ba kung magkano ang inearn nila for both movies? wala pa sigurong $200 million kasi ang prior deal nila e marvel only gets 5% of first weekend gross. everything else kay Sony na.

sony is greedy. disney is greedy. but at the end of the day, disney and marvel have the best interests for spider-man as a character and that is what the fans who spent $1.1 billion on it want. di ko talaga magets bakit mas gusto dito ang standalone spider-man na may sariling mundo ulit ulit ulit (kasi magiging pangtatlong ulit na) instead of being able to interact with other characters LIKE IN THE COMICS.

Again because Sony owns the movie rights to Spiderman. 100% financed pa ng Sony. The deal was 5% pero sa merch 100% kay Disney. From merch alone Spiderman earn $1.3 Billion annually.

Spiderman is a household name even before MCU. Disney needs spiderman, not the other way around. Sino front runner ng MCU ngayong wala na sina Iron Man at Cap? Disney knows na money maker si Spiderman kaya they are bullying Sony to take over the IP.

Pwede siguro nila ibuy back but will be worth Billions already .

Magnum opus ng Superhero Films and Infinity War and Endgame. I doubt it can be topped in the near future. Nawala na excitement ko for the MCU after those films.
  • basta MCU movies...still worth to watch pa rin! as for Spiderman, mas preferred ko talaga yung MCU Spidey, though I also like the Tobey Maguire Spidey.

Nakakailang reboot na ba ang Spiderman? I think its about time na they continue the story the MCU way.

Less expectations na lang for MCU Phase 4, who knows, maybe we're in for a surprise, MCU already proven that they can make a B or C comic character into a blockbuster movie like Guardians of the Galaxy.

That's my views, I watch movies to be entertained.
