The Foreigner - 2/5
Meh yung story. Brosnan's Irish accent was ok pero ang nakaka-distract yung babaeng kasama ni Jacky sa resta1 rant dahil ansama ng make up para magmukhang matanda.
Blade Runner 2049 - 2/5
Super slow burn yung movie na walang reward para sa viewers. Manipis ang story. Characters are basically useless. Yung female villain eh straight from villainy 101 na when she has the upper hand to kill the hero, she will just walk off and leave the hero to go back up or laying on the ground to die only to be found and resuscitated by another party interested sa hero. +1 sa table slam scene ni Madam, that was funny. And +1 kay Ana de Armas as eye candy.

hindi ko nga alam anong nakikita nung ibang tao sa mga ganyang genre ng film na more on kwentuhan lang kagaya nung ghost in the shell hindi ko alam kung bakit gandang ganda sila -
^I also didn't like Ghost in a Shell & Blade Runner 2049. Never ako naka-achieve ng dis-belief. I didn't even continue watching both films.
But pls don't question if the other guys like it, kanya-kanyang trip lang yan.. Subjective ang reviews, you might like what they like and you may dislike what they like and vice versa.. -

long time sex ng couple, medyo sawa na sa isat-isa gusto ng bagong thrill. pinagalaw ni hubby si wifey sa ibang guy.
pero sila pa rin. in short humanap lang sila ng sex adventure.

May mga tao madali maka-ride on sa story and mabilis din sila maka-achieve ng suspension of disbelief in an instant.. Once you've achieve that, ambilis mo maka-relate sa character or sa story.. Mas mataas probability mageenjoy ka if you're carried away by the character or the story...

If you didn't grow up seeing the anime, mahirap mo rin siya maenjoy. Actually, di naman malaki fan base ng GITS, malalim storya kase. Alternate reality kumbaga, although marami naiisip na baka maging realidad talaga concept ng "ghosts" sa hinaharap. -

Interesting kasi sa kin yun "ghosts" kase di na spiritual yun view ng soul naging bytes of data na siya na pwede ilagay storage device or sa cloud hehehe. Then yun cloaking device and yun tank designs nila pati implants dun sa mga tao.

na hilig maki alam sa rating ng iba! personally nakaka apekto rin kasi kung paano mo napanuod ang isang movie depende sa background at kung saan mo napanuod at resolution na din.. may nangyayari kasi sa akin na pag sa sinehan ko napanuod or mataong lugar panget minsan lalo na kung daldalan pero pag sa kwarto lang ako at nakahiga tutok sa tablet or cellphone mas na eenjoy ko ang movie(naka earphones) -
Between GITS and Blade Runner 2049, mas prefer ko ang latter. But I admit di ko rin type ang pacing nung dalawang movie. Maganda sana ang philosophy pero mas maging engaging sana ang storytelling if pina intense yung elements sa movie. Although I have to say sa almost 3 hours running time ng Blade Runner, hindi ako naka idlip kahit once. Di ko nga namalayan na lampas 2 hours and 30mins na ako nasa loob ng sinehan.

Anyway I googled movies with Artificial Intelligence questioning its/their existence as its main plot to see if this genre produced an engaging action movie. Though the list is long, there are a few films in that list which I can truly consider an AI film that's the same with GITS and Blade Runner. The other one is I, Robot which is good enough for me storywise and actionwise. So siguro if GITS and Blade Runner have that treatment, siguro mas madami ang magkakagusto sa movie. But most probably the theme is reserved talaga for slow paced storytelling kasi it blends science and spirituality.

American Made - 9/10
Very entertaining yung storytelling. Kung iba siguro approach ng ibang direktor dito baka naging boring/run of the mill spy/thriller lang ito. The actors are great, pacing is good and that amazing storytelling. Reminds me of War Dogs pero American Made is better. Ganda din ng soundtrack.
Btw, wag na pagtalunan ang rating ng iba. Parang pron lang din yan, different genres for different folks.

Yun ke Alicia Vikander ba yun? 8/10 for me, talkies rin na movie yan then medyo "god complex" yun isa character hihi. Nothing new to me yun storyline pero interesting ending. -
Yep I saw ex machina and yes slow narrative pa rin gaya ng Blade Runner and GITS though Ex Machina is more boring than the two coz maliit ang budget, wala masyado action but overall it's a good movie. Another AI movie that I absolutely love despite the film containing no action at all, Uncanny. Puro dialogue lang but intriguing.

some films are just slow, and most of the great ones are deliberately so. but because you're used to fast-paced movies, you're easily bored by dragging setups that you tend to ignore the other essential elements. not your fault. that's just the way the film was made (except for the ones that were unintentionally boring). the solution is to simply watch more movies.
however, most people shouldn't just jump into it. that would be like watching lav diaz' Hele sa Hiwagang Hapis (8 hours!) without having seen his earlier and shorter works (note: im not a fan of his, just an example). in the case of Blade Runner 2049, you're not required to have seen the Ridley Scott classic or to know and already have an appreciation for Villanueve's style, but they most likely will allow you to have a better experience. Blade Runner 2049 is similar in plot to I, Robot except I, Robot focused more on the action sequences. (in the case of Ghost in the Shell, that's just a complex anime series squeezed into a boring vfx reel.
here are some semi-slow burn films that i think can help you:
Rope - underrated hitchcock
Frailty - great thriller starring and directed by the late bill paxton
Glengarry Glen Ross - the mametspeak drives the whole thing
Fargo - coen brothers
The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford - come for the characters, stay for the cinematography

Jumanji 2017- 3/5
Entertaining pop corn movie. Simple lang naman yung plot, don't overthink para ma enjoy yung ganitong klaseng movie, may plothole yung isang character pero oks lang.
Ayos din yung chemistry ng cast.
Ganda nung mukha ni karen gillan, sya palang yung nebula sa GotG. <3
Nothing beats Robbin Williams original Jumanji tho.
Siguro isa sa gripe ko sa new Jumanji eh walang suspense katulad sa orig.
New jumanji is more on action/comedy. -

THE JACKET (2005) - a smart psychological thriller.
TRIANGLE (2009) & COHERENCE (2014) - you need to pay attention sa mga details even the small one, you'll be amaze with these movies kung na get mo.
Butterfly Effect 1 & 2 - a must see kung di mo pa napapanuod.
