Easy guys.. Wala kong nakita mali sa review ni sir chekot. It's just a review. Beside it's a Filipino film. Good to hear a perfect score from our movie. Looking forward na rin to watch with misis dahil sa review mo sir chekot. It's been a while since manood kame ulet sa sinehan ng sariling aten.
Murder on Orient Express - 7/10
I was expecting this to be bad, turned out ok naman... Not really that great but its entertaining, good line up of actors.. Medyo predictable ung ending.
I was a bit disappointed sa rendering ng Dolby Atmos dito, hindi ganun ka immersive.. It lacked the height channel effects, which in majority of the film almost muted ung ceiling speakers given 7.1ch ang native audio track nya..
^dragging kasi yang orient express. I want to love it kasi ang ganda ng mga casts and the setting and vibe victoranian talaga. Pero mejo dragging un story especially sa una. It could have been better.

kahit ilang beses kong panoorin ito natutuwa parin ako, lalo na doon sa tawa ng tawa sa museum(daw) tapos natigok sa kakatawa.

Ang ganda ng cinematography, story, music and sceneries. Almost real life na itsura nung ibang scenes. Ang ganda ng ending, naalala ko Lola ko.

One of the most underrated B-movies of the 80s. Features a large centipede/worm-like parasite that invades and takes control of its host's body. When I first saw it as a kid who's used to playing in the streets, I stopped playing with worms and bugs for a while. Hehehe.

naalala ko tuloy, I had a friend who built his huge house, sa ground floor he built his 24-sq meter home theater. I was asked to help him in the HT building process.. After finishing his HT room (minus the pj), he asked me to bring mine to test (since during that time was still in the hunt of a hi-end pj).
The screen was 130" silverfire which I mixed and was spray-painted by a professional painter... During testing nandun mga karpentero & my friend.. They were amazed by the immersive visuals of this MadMax film.. Tuwang-tuwa ung contractor pati ung mga karpentero, its their first time to watch a really bad ass HT system :)
Ok lang para sa akin kahit daldalan sobrang ok lang but inaabangan ko yung matinding labanan gamit light saber lalong lalo na si rey or kylo ren wala eh i mean labanang light saber biglang blah blah tapos yung scene sa huli akala ko meron na pero konting laban(with light saber) tapos blah blah nanaman.
Akala ko talaga may malupit na labanan gamit ang light saber :( sayang walang moment na ganon.

I really don't think so but it's still scary. If you watch this without too much expectation, you

may nabibili bang ganyang paint sa atin?
parang mas ok pa kasi itong wall ko dito (dirty white) kesa sa white motorized screen at gray tripod type na nabili ko dito. yung ALR screen naman hirap isetup hehehe.

unfortunately import lang talaga via amazon or ebay, but its totally worth it.. I'd say its a lot cheaper than buying commercial screens and performed a lot better (since I owned a commercial screen). Check mo sa AVSforums how they do it & the performance..

Starwars the Last Jedi - 6.8/10
Ok lang ung story, the dog fight sequence was just ok, nothing new. Light saber action sequence wasnt that good either, mas maganda pa fight sequence ng mga Asian martial arts films minus the light saber. The ending btw was predictable (nasa title pa ng film)..
I liked the Ray character kaya I gave it a "higher" rating.
