    Yes sir, actually ok na din 2899 sa amin. For bells and whistles nalang talaga yung 3499 kami since sulit +600php lang for 'double' the speed (in actuality ay around 40% lang pala. Pero still bilang gamer narin, the extra speed might come in handy when DLing games. )

    That's an interesting point of view.

    So being on Globe does not impact your gaming life? Some people prefer PLDT as the people they game with are there.

    For those reading I use 4K streaming (15Mbps) as my baseline as it's the most bandwidth-intensive application that is not tolerant of buffering.

    Downloading multi-GB video, music and games then playing them may be somewhat acceptable but waiting for a streaming 4K video isn't.

    I hope one day 25Mbps is 499/month and 500Mbps is 2,999/month so over 80% of people will have fiber to the home.

    Only way for that to happen is to reduce red tape to less than 2 days and to just 1 document.
  • ^Globe lang ang available sa area na lilipatan namin sir. Settle nalang for workaround like VPN kung strict NAT talaga, or maybe even avail the Public Static IP addon. Pero itsek pa namin...

    Speaking of gaming... May nakatry na po ba gumamit ng WTFast GPN dito? Kung mataas ping, talagang napapababa po niya talaga?

  • Guys pleaee help. Sino marunong mag configure ng huawei modem? Globe fiber cya. Nawala kasi internet kgabi pa sa sobrang inis ko nireset ko. Pacheck lng if ano need check or configure

    Static is available for residential customers. It's 700/month and subject to credit score checks

    However strict/moderate NAT =/= better gaming performance. It's more of how the ISP routes your connection to game servers (provided have no bottlenecks in your end. eg: gaming on wifi). You would only need public IP if you are hosting a game which uses P2P type of connection. Globe's static IP more or less use the same routes used on CGNAT connections.

    You use game VPNs (exitlag or WTFast) if routing is bad to a specific game. If you want to host a game via IP / Internet then you would need to use a traditional VPN with public IP which generally costs $12/mo on a monthly plans.
  • Followup lang po sa WTFast kung meron ng nakapagtry dito at kung talagang napababa niya ang high ping due to bad routing sa games. Anong games po usually ang problema sa Globe? Ano po actual results ninyo using WTFast?

    Sir regarding sa upgrade ng plan through app, may nabasa ako din ako sa FB group na ganyan ginawa niya. Sa case niya ay nagupgrade siya from 2899 to 3499. (Medyo nasundan ko yung update process niya since lagi siya nagpost sa group. Around 3rd week ng July siya nag request for upgrade ata, then Jul 31 naupdate to 3499 sa app, pero hindi parin upgrade speed. Messaged him nung Wed di parin na upgrade.)

  • ^ Thanks! I'll check it out since naka tawag na ako sa Globe hotline. So i'll check it out after 3 days pag wala pa.

    Anyway can't share WTFast but I can share exitlag. Since they work the same.
    Problem lang kay globe in my experience is routing to PUBG. So from 280ms down to 31ms.
    I play WoW also and decided to play in AU server para malapit. Without it my ping is 150-166ms. With it it's 123-138ms.
    WoW NA West: Globe - 146-155ms, exitlag: 153-166ms. WoW NA East: Globe 200-205ms while exitlag: 196-200ms.
    Overwatch no issues: Globe 48-55ms, exitlag 51-54ms.

  • So my internet just got upgraded few minutes ago. I am getting 100mbps down and 50mbps upload. Plan 2899.
    Also got another SMS from "GlobeAtHome" saying my request has been processed.
  • Pag 100 mbps dapat palo yan ng mga 140-150 mbps.
  • Just got upgraded din 2499 50mbps. Pero walang speed boost. Meron ba free mesh router pag upgrade through app? Ty
  • ^ Mukhang wala na speedboost sa new plans. Pero yes meron daw kasama TP-Link Mesh (2pcs), 6 months Amazon Prime and 6 months iWant.

  • May speedboost pa rin yung line ko at kaka-upgrade ko lang to plan 2499.

    Kakatawag ko rin lang sa hotline nila at sabi nila within 3 days daw iddeliver yung mesh wifi.

    anong options gamit nyo for calling sa hotline? puro automated ang sinasabi na options. wala ako makausap na agent.
  • Hi, sana may makatulong.

    May chance pa ba maimprove upload speed ng connection ko? Wala ako problem with Download kasi 18.6mbps naman pero yung upload speed kasi 1.62 mbps lang. NEED ko kasi sa work from home at least 5mbps daw requirement. Triny ko mag-pa upgrade sa globe pero until now wala pa din update.

    Meron na ako admin access (thanks sa forum) pero di ko alam pano icoconfigure para mag-improve yung speed andami kasi tabs.

    HG8245H unit ng modem ko.

    Right now mas nagrereply sila sa Globe@Home App. Repairs and other concerns.

  • May nakakaexperience ba dito ng issue na nadidisconnect yung internet niyo kasi everytime may nag coconnect ng bago sa location niyo pinakakekealaman din lagi yung port niyo? Badtrip eh laging ganito. Tapos 3 days lagi bago ang tech visit.

    Ask ko lang kung may nakakaalam ng fix nito, kasi sabi ng tech dati hindi lang nauupdate sa globe pag nililipat ng port kaya naiiwang disconnected yung line namin. Sayang kasi yung naghihintay ka ng 3 days tapos pag dating ng tech tatawag lang din sa globe ok na.

  • bka meron may kilalang tech na pwede mag onsite. since friday pa kami wala net and panay robiot ang sumsagot sa hotline nila. tried din sa globe app pero never pa kmi kinontact. working from home kmi ni mrs kaya need nmin ng wifi. hirap mag work sa data lng

    Hahaha no that's not true at all. I have 2 clients na naka-Globe Fiber MyBusiness and ganon din ang upload hindi symmetrical.

  • Hello. I have a question, naka plan 1899 kame. 25mb. Bale pag nag sspeed test kami ang internet namin DL 45mb to 47mb. Tapos UL namin 11-12mb

    Inupgrade kame nung promo nila na 30mb. Ngayon yung speed namin 27-28mb tapos UL 14mb.

    May naka encounter ba sa inyo ng ganito?



    Update:
    Nag reboot ako ng modem. Nag 230mb sya ngayon DL the UL 14mb

    Then after 2 hrs reboot ulit bumalik sa 28/14

    3rd reboot ko 200mb/14mb na ulit.

    D ko pa sya gnalaw ngayon. Nagguluhan ako ano ba talaga ung speed na nakuha ko.

  • Question. Galing ako plan 1899 25mbps, around 30mbps ang nakukuha ko. Then nagupgrade ako to 2499 50mbps, around 40-48mbps lang nakukuha ko. Pwede ko ba ireport to? Or normal lang to. Ty
