Globe@Home GFiber Broadband Thread

  • Curious lang po. Yesterday our internet connection (Fiber) went out around 6 pm and came back around 8-8:30 pm. Same thing happened today. It went out around 6 pm and then came again a few mins ago (currently 8:45 pm now). May issues ba si Globe ngayon? Paranaque area.
  • Dapat siguro yung modem may nakalagay na warning na huwag i-reset. Dame ko nababasa na nagreset without knowing the credentials kaya nawawala yung connection.
  • bwesit na internet ni globe almost 3 nights ko na nae experience putol putol ang connection pero yung icon sa taskbar naka access pa rin ako sa internet

    anong nkalagay na number sa Nap box mo kung san nkakabit fiber line mo?
    samin BCR_108 L914 N03, connected sa cabinet sa kanto... yung isa BCR_004 L083 N02, connected sa tower...
    gusto ko lang malaman kung san mas maganda connection ni globe, kung sa upgraded na cabinet ng vdsl to FTTH or yung fiber line na connected sa tower nila....

    Too many factors to consider since everything's good on my end
    1. Change your DNS
    2. Use LAN if applicable (laptop or desktop)
    3. Use 5GHz (for mobile phones) if available

    hindi ko alam sir yung number ng nap box at hindi ko rin alam kung saan nakapwesto yung nap box

    1.i never tried changing my DNS. if the problem still occur i will try this method
    2.i'm using LAN for my desktop
    3.i dont have 5ghz for my mobile phone

    yung napbox, makikita dun sa papel na binigay after installan ng fiber.

    nagka-issue rin these past months etong globe dyan sa DNS na yan. maraming di maaccess na site, or stuck lang sa loading. if paputol-putol pa rin internet mo, pagawan mo na lang ng job order para mainspect nila.
  • nkakabit ko sa Nap box na connected sa tower... sabi kasi sakin ng nag upgrade ng vdsl cabinet to FTTH na mas maganda connection sa cabinet kaysa fiber connected sa tower... balak ko magpalipat ng connection kaya lang magpalit din daw ng modem huawei e fiberhome modem ko...
    noon vdsl pa ko 10Mbps maganda connection kaya lang ng nag upgrade ko ng 20Mbps nagka problema na kya nagp migrate ko sa fiber...

  • Mga sir, question lang. Migrated na kasi kami from vdsl to fiber last month, May 11. Bale yung last billing ng vdsl nasabay dun sa first billing nung fiber connection. Upon checking ngayong gabi nung vdsl account namin sa globe at home app, May billing pa din na pumasok at nakalagay na due date is July 06.

    Di po ba dapat automatic na terminated yun? Pinalitan lang account number namin pero parehas pa din telephone number. Thanks in advance.

    nag-upgrade rin kami to fiber coming from adsl, pero pumunta na rin kaming globe store para irequest yung termination ng old account para di madouble-bill. pinaterminate na namin yung old acc number

    ah ganun ba sir, wala kasi sinabi yung ahente samin. Kala namin matic na terminated yun. May pumasok pa naman na billing tsk. Salamat.
  • Does anyone know how long it would take to reactivate Globe Fiber at an address that already has an existing (but inactive) Globe fiber installation? We are moving houses this August and the house we are moving to already has Globe Fiber installed from the previous occupants but is currently inactive.
  • @crusher25 Paranaque area din. Paputol putol. Parang may oras. I've been contacting Globe for a month now pero wala namang tech na dumadating. Hindi LOS to. PON ang nawawala. Inaantay ko nalang ang Converge at PLDT para mapalitan ko na to.

    24 months which is standard naman for all ISPs.

    Nung naencounter ko yan ang tiningnan ko sa modem dashboard yung sa dialup. Madalas yan dialup failed e, ok LOS pero blinking PON

  • @unregistered0000 Walang tech na dumadating sayo? Samin mabilis lang kami nakabook ng technician through Globe @ Home app. Pinili lang namin yung desired appointment time and nakapunta na sila kahapon. May problema na pala yung wiring sa papasok sa loob ng bahay kasi nung chinecheck nung technician yung readings sa poste kapag umaakyat siya, oks pa. Pero pag chineck niya yung sa loob ng bahay, biglang may problema na yung readings so pinalitan na nila yung wiring sa loob and naging oks naman na. Hindi nga daw mag-red yung LOS kapag ganito pero unstable yung internet connection which is what happened samin.

    I suggest try mo magbook sa Globe @ Home app? Wag ka tumawag or wag ka sa FB magreport. Hindi reliable yung two methods na yun. So far, oks kami kapag sa Globe @ Home app nagbobook ng technician.

    Is your modem FiberHome HG6245D? If yes, then it's a modem issue. If not, could be something else.

    Pag very first bill, tatlo po ang sinisingil diyan:
    1. Prorated charge (number of days na nagamit simula kabitan ka up to your cutoff date)
    2. Main bill for the next billing month
    3. Installment 1 of 3 for your installation fee

    Kung nagbayad ka sa installer during installation, ibabawas yan dun sa total ng 1to3. So yan ang babayaran mo sa very first bill.

    Pag dating ng second at third bill, 2 at 3 na lang ang babayaran mo. At pagdating ng fourth bill onwards, number 2 na lang ang babayaran mo.

    nag-migrate kami from ADSL to fiber eh, free installation so yung 1 and 2 lang yung nasa bill. weird lang nung plan namin, plan 1499 na unli-data plan pero may landline pa rin kami na libre. salamat globe hehe
  • just curious baka lang may nakakaalam.

    I'm still in my lockin period but planning to transfer to a different location (might have charges since vdsl lang available sa lilipatan). May existing connection pa sa lilipatan (globe also) pero papaputol ko din soon.

    Will it work kapag isesetup ko lng PPPoE details ko sa vdsl modem? Pasig -> QC.

    I'm using plan 1499(not 1699) galing akong plan 999(ung luma)
    New Account number ngaun nakuha ko na ung Bill 2,700+ tapos ung Old account Number ko may Bill padin nung plan 999. ano un babayadan ko padin ung plan 999 sa Old account number?

    hindi ata automatic yung process ni globe. kailangan mo pang ipaalam sa kanila na ipapaterminate mo na yung old account mo para di ka madouble-bill. magka-iba kasing account number nung dati at bago

    Salamat. mukhang ganun nga mangyayari hindi padin nagrereply support ng globe isasama ko nadin yung kung bakit lumabas sa bill yung installation fee since free migrate yung inoffer nila samin.
  • Ano ba naman etong Globe. Bigla na lang may dumating na tech. Di naman kami nagpa schedule ng visit hahaha. La naman problem sa connection namin.
  • hi guys, share ko lang experince ko from vdsl to fiber. sabi nung naka usap ko sa globe before mag upgrade, automatic daw iteterminate yung old account once active na yung new account.

    pero 2 months na active parin yung old account ko. natry ko narin itawag sa globe pero paulit ulit lang sinasabi nila na gagawan ng report at may marerecieve na notification/update in 24-48 hours.

    3k+ na yung bill ko sa old account, di ko nalang binabayaran.
