  • ^sana nga after 24 hours. Grabe kasi ung request time out. Sana hindi ko pagsisihan na nagupgrade ako kasi nung 15mbps dsl pa lang plan ko once in a blue moon lang magkaproblema. Mabilis na siya eh nag try ako magdownload ngayon ung 5gb 15 minutes lang. Ang problema ko lang choppy yung landline tapos nag sspike yung ping. Lag sa online games

    yup mainly for netflix, hulu, hbo now pluto tv, bbc iplayer and other region locked streaming services..

  • Naka plan 1599 20mbps kami since Nov 2016. Wala naman naging problema sa capping speed namin na 30% (6mbps) not until this month (August) bumagsak sa 256kbps yung capped speed namin. Nagreklamo kami sa globe, tapos nag papunta kami ng tech team pero masking tech team iniinsist na 256kbps daw dapat capped speed namin.

    Ngayun, pinipilit nila na mag avail nalang daw kami ng volume boost.
    Tapos another option is mag upgrade nalang daw kami sa 1899 plan.

    Need your help and opinion kung ano next step na pwede namin gawin kasi parang nasa dead end na kami.
  • @ehrard Just my 2 cents sir. Upgrade niyo na po to Plan 1899, malaki advantage since 600GB data plus 50mbps download speed pa, kumpara sa 20mbps tas 150gb (wtf Globe). Kahit ma cap kayo sir 15mbps pa din babagsakan niyo. the addt'l 300 pesos won't definitly hurt at all. Sulit pa nga in my opinion.

    pero sa tingin ko same classification lang naman yung plan 1599 and 1899

    too bad, naging 256kpbs yung capped speed namin

  • may issue ba kayo with loading images sa Facebook? Ayaw magload ng FB images samin since yesterday. Nka static IP kami. I don't know anong problem pero if I use VPN or mobile data, ok naman. sa FB lang may issue. sa ibang site wala. any idea how to fix it? i'm also already using Google's DNS wala parin.

    Possible kaya na sa IP ko? kasi static IP to sir e pero kapg VPN at napalitan IP nagiging okay naman.

    Same plan tayo. Tinanong ko technicians ng globe mismo andito samin inaayos landline namin ang sabi nila, lagi namang 30% of subscribed speed. Read again the terms. Ang sinasabi dun (1st sentence) pag Fiber, which is tayo, 30% subscribed speed. 2nd sentence, says conditions ng dsl/LTE which is 256kbps. And 3rd sentence qualifies the 2nd sentence, saying na yung 256kbps ay makukuha lang pagka naubos na ang allocated data. Sana malinaw na. This is being abused by overthinking nung ibang mga "bata o undergraduate" dito.

    I don't understand why it is being interpreted otherwise. Super linaw naman. Ngayon in reality, hindi din naman sya nangyayari sa karamihan ng dsl/LTE subs na nagiging 256kbps. Wala pa ngang nagrereport sa kabilang thread.

    Ang meron e ikaw for 1599 fiber,at siguro iba pa but still isolated kasi subscribers are in the hundred thousands. Wala namang clamor or complain sa socmed about it.

    Now, from what I have pointed out, the terms said 30% of subscribed speed sa fiber kahit pa vdsl fiber classification. So, I will definitely howl a loud and persistent protest sa hotline/email complete with screenshot nung terms, kung mangyari. But anyway, unimodem is complete with evidence din na 30 % at capped. Where's yours BTW?

    Anyway, isa ko pang punto is, try to learn to deal with it kung di naman makikipag-usap sa hotline kasi ala din naman mangyayari kung dito ivevent. Just my two cents.

  • after 4 days back to normal speed na connection ko.. 4 days bago naprocess yung speed boost.. mukang sa plan 20mbps pa lang nila niimplement yung hard capping (0.4mbps)
    papalitan ko na plan ko.. pag available na samen 50mbps upgrade ko na otherwise pababa ko na lang sa 10mbps na 400gb limit.. 200gb for 299 pesos pala inavail ko na volume boost.. iwasan na lang muna tong plan 20mbps na to.. dami lang kase requirement pag new subscriber ka tapos 50mbps plan apply mo kaya ito kinuha ko.. HTH..

    yung 5mbps na result is because hindi ko nalipat sa ssid na 20mbps.. default ssid kase nasinet ko is 5mbps lang ibabato para di masyado mabilis maubos data allowance

    yun nga ang hindi namin maintidihan, dati wala naman kami problema sa capping (30%). Na gulat nalang kami kasi ngayun August, yung capping namin naging 256kbps.

    tatawag ako ulit sa globe, tapos rereklamo ko ulit.
    sana isolated case lang ito sakin, kasi nakatatlong tawag na kami at pinipilit nila na pang platinum daw kuno yung 30% capped
  • I have been a Globe Fibre subscriber since July 2016. My plan is 1599 with 20mbps. Every time I consume my 150gb data allocation, my speed goes down to 6mbps which is 30% of my subscribed speed. However, today, I was unpleasantly surprised when my speed went down to a virtual crawl at 0.4mbps. It would have been ok if this was after my 2 year contract, but changing the terms of the contract in the middle of it is really unacceptable. However, this is the sad reality when our internet is being monopolized by 2 conglomerates. Complaining to globe is virtually useless as they just told me that this is now the current policy of all telecoms.

    Bad news to bro.. Kong lang sa 100mbps din gagawin nilang 256kbps.. goodbye globe talaga ako.. ahahah bahala cla.. ganon din policy ko... ^_^

  • Narinig ko sa technicians, Project Kapon, tawag nila sa mga new GO Fast and Go big plans. We'll I really hope na di mangyari sakin and handa akong makipag away sa hotline at email csr nila araw araw. Marami akong time lol. And goodbye Globe or upgrade to 1899 lang din choice ko, although parang gusto ko na nga mag upgrade din ngayon pa lang :)

  • ok na sana tong speed ng vdsl namin ang problema simula nung na upgrade ako nung wednesday ang panget ng latency ko, taas baba yung ping hindi tuloy makapag dota 2 dahil naglalag tapos yung telephone namin choppy putol putol. napansin ko ngaung umaga ung downstream speed tumaas from 51000 to 99998. tapos kanina biglang ok ng mga 30 minutes yung ping stable na mababa at yung telephone hindi na nagchochoppy kaso after 30 minutes ayun nanaman balik nanaman sa pagloloko. hindi pa kaya fully activated to? anyone experienced this nung nag upgrade kayo?
  • ^ganyan nga din sakin. Just upgraded. Sabi 24 hours pero lampas na. I called the hotline and di pa daw complete ang installation. Wait lang daw ako ng another 24 hours. I'm so naiinggit lol sa speed mo. Baka upgrade uli ko kung pepwede.
  • ^tumawag ako sa hotline sir. bukas ng umaga pupunta daw ang globe engineer nila dun sa cabinet na pinagkakabitan ng internet ko and sa bahay ko para icheck. wala na kasi magagawa ang sub con nila feeling ko naman nagawa na nila lahat ng magagawa nila and need na talaga na yung globe engineer ang gagawa.
