Need your input. Wife and I are planning to buy our first car.
Honda City 1.5 E CVT or Hyundai Accent 1.4 GL CVT
Initially we were eyeing the Brio kasi wala pa naman kami kids ni misis pero maliit sya for me kasi malaking tao ako hehe
Since WFH, sa January ko pa sya magagamit daily for work from Laguna to Alabang
City of course, maganda ung Accent but not the PH specs, which is super bare and expensive at the same time.
But wait for the 2019 City (seventh gen) since January mo pa need.
Also check if may ISOFIX tethers yung bibilin nyo, para pag may anak na kayo for child seats. Naka sedan (Civic) ako pero I wish nag crossover ako kase ang hassle mag load/unload ng baby/car seats since sedan mababa.

I have learned many facts about the honda city car, it helpful post of the decade. So we found the <click here for link> blog, I think it helps you to understand which company's antivirus helps you to protect you device.
Navara and City are nonsense vehicles. Checkout Isuzu D-Max, Hilux Conquest, Ranger Raptor. In cheaper sedans, better to go Vios, Corolla, Civic and 3.
i used a current-gen 4x4 navara a couple of times. aside sa matigas clutch, i find it okay naman. my rant with the previous -gen city (2013?) is di ako kasya sa driver seat with the lowest seat position. i'm 5'10"
Mga sir planning to buy our first car this December.
Eyeing Suzuki Ertiga / Toyota Rush. Mostly gagamitin sa work pag weekdays, Cavite to Makati/Pasig. Need your inputs mga sir.
Hehe Thanks!
Mas ok specs ni Rush (Daihatsu) but pricier. It's also RWD. Mas mataas din ride height but matagtag. Both have abysmal power output (1.5 4AT) so don't expect power and good fuel economy.
Kung di mo naman need ng 7 seaters I'd just go for a sub compact cross-over or sedan (Kona, Stonic, etc), . Much better highway cruiser.

if i'm in your shoes, prolly gonna get the xpander over that two. pero yung Coolray dami positive reviews, someone even called it a budget volvo. mas blockbuster siguro yung coolray kung naka T or H badge yun. LOL
Plano po naming bumili ng car, based on my research Honda Brio na po ba talaga yung pinaka budget at maganda(specs) na car? (I don't really care about the appearance)
Usually gagamitin lng pang sundo from Malolos to Valenzuel
Budget: 600k (pero 660k yung CVT)
I'm planning to apply to Driving school before buying a car, so should I buy MT instead???(because 60k difference is huge)
Nag comparison din ako and test drive ng picanto, brio, 2nd hand accent hatchback and 2nd hand suzuki swift. Pinaka okay handling for me si Brio and Swift and accept the fact na matagtag si hatchback pero enjoy i-drive.
Kung bata pa ako, say below 30yrs old, i would have preferred manual. Mas sporty at mas masarap laruin. But for older folks, matic lang talaga. Comfort takes premium consideration.
For me depende sa usage ng car,
If usually long rides tulad ng NLEX to and fro, I'd get the Manual variant pero still depende sa gear ratio kung alin mas tipid sa gas.
If you're into spirited driving on the weekends din, get a manual
Kung city driving naman, most here would want an automatic. tito's of mnl na tayo hehe
Mid 20's pa lang ako and been driving manual since 18 pero gustong gusto ko na ng automatic haha
AT + Automatic Brake Hold is heaven sent.
ako naman biglang pinulikat ng matindi while driving a few months back O_o
