Chose Honda HR-V E over Toyota Corolla Cross G. Yung passion red ang pogi.
Differences:
Honda has better interior
Honda has back seat that can be folded upward (ito yung bumenta sakin haha)
Honda has front seat that can be horizontal for long mode
Honda has cruise control
Honda has LED headlights and DRL
Lugi tayo kasi iba yung Cross G sa ibang southeast asian countries. Yung satin tinipid.

nilagay ni Toyota sa hybrid variant nila yung ibang features as well as safety features retained on both G and hybrid.

Mababa e.

actually Mirage HB yung gamit namin ng wife at daughter ko ngayon and atter almost 7yrs we're planning to change into a bigger car. so far ito yung mga points na tinatry namin i-consider:
- will not get a full-size SUV dahil baka hindi din namin ma-maximize in the long run
- also considering an MPV (Xpander or Rush) pero parang hindi ako totally sold sa third row sit, might opt for a bigger trunk instead.
any other cars that you might want to suggest?
edit: budget is around 800k to 900k or can even stretch to 1M siguro.

For me kapag MPV at your budget, Suzuki Ertiga. Fold mo na lang yung last seats for 800 L. Alam ko nasa 500 L ang Rush and 1000 L ang xpander folded seats. pero lagpas budget ang rush and xpander.
Sa budget mo, check mo ertiga vs stonic
https://www.autodeal.com.ph/cars/compare/suzuki+ertiga+gl-1-5-at-black-edition+vs+kia+stonic+1-4-lx-at-16197

Rush and Expander are out for your budget. Avanza is the way to go on Toyota platform. pareho lang din sila chassis ng Rush at foldable third row din.
for safety, go with Stonic.

95 hp @ 6,000 rpm
121 Nm @ 4,200 rpm
versus ertiga 1.5L AT (898k PHP) na 103 hp and 138 Nm hatak.

kailangan talaga malaki HP nyan kasi FF. yung Avanza/Rush FR. yan yung price difference ng dalawa.

yung 1.5L na avanza same ng specs sa ertiga pero mas mahal. mapa-FR or FF, with almost same specs, same lang sila ng performance for a normal user. tsaka sa mga nababasa ko sa net, mas mahal supposedly ang FR pero mura si suzuki. ewan ko mas mahal lang talaga ang toyota. ang mas kinokonsider ko yung budget ni sir.

Hello! Just want to ask the thread, this is my first time posting here. Medyo kinakabahan kasi next chapter na ng buhay and I have zero knowledge when it comes to cars and anything related to it. Me and my wife are planning to get our first ever car, planning on a Ford Territory or a Ford Everest. Do you think these are good options? Or meron bang mas better na I should look into? Gusto ko lang talaga ng good looks sa car and ample amount ng storage sa likod since madami kami magkarga ng gamit, and provision na rin for 2 bikes. Sobrang simple lang diba hahaha! If may massuggest kayo, I'll happily look into it. Also, what's the best time of the year to buy a car, tipong first month release nya, kasi baka bumili kami ng 2021 sabay may 2022 na agad kinabukasan. Hehe. Thank you!

Partial ako sa Japanese cars.
Mazda CX-5, CX-8
Toyota Rav4
Honda CR-V
or yung the usual na SUV montero, etc
Bili ka kapag may promo.

mejo biased din ako towards Jap cars
bukod sa hindi known ang ford for easy/ cheap maintenance, made in china pa yung Territory
Also, what's the best time of the year to buy a car
towards the end of the year, mejo makaka-mura ka kasi maraming agent naghahabol ng quota
towards the end of life din ng vehicle, usually malalaki ang discount
ako personally, i'd rather buy after mid cycle refresh or towards eol ng sasakyan,

He mentioned good looks and space as priority so tama Ford ang bagay. Hehe.

The best time to buy is not at the start nor the end of the year. It is when you need it and when you have the money.

^+1M, totally agree!
This applies to china made cars like geely & maxxus. Opting for Okavango or D60 (7strs). Any inputs mga sir? TIA!
