if you havent read the books , i say go read it already :D , i think marami kayong ma miss
i encounter na rin yang scenario na, na maraming characters na sobrang na ooverwhelm ako
nag take notes na lang ako kung sino at ano ng progress ko sa bawat chapter for each character :D
in that way alam ko hehe anyways
book 2, book 3, and book 4 dont skip some parts maganda siya
sa book 5 lang talaga ako na stress kay brienne at Daenerys, for some it was cool
and actually mas mahilg ako sa visual not really into books kaya minsan nag search ako ng mga artwork ng isang particular scene just improve my imagination lol

basahin mo pa din. andami di sinama sa series na nasa libro. kung na fascinate ka sa series, ma adik ka sa book...

Binasa ko kagabi at habang binabasa ko naiimagine ko yung scenes sa TV series. Nasa journey palang ako ni Tyrion at Jon papuntang Castle Black. Dami pa ng babasahin.

pinaka ayaw kong book yung A feast for crows. Down time na kasi dahil feeling ko climax yung storm of swords given the wedding and all.

^ I like to think that A Feast for Crows and A Dance with Dragons are building up to The Winds of Winter (climax), the same as A Game of Thrones and A Clash of Kings were building up to A Storm of Swords.

Yung frustrating sakin dun sa AFFC, yung journey ni Brienne. Sorry Arkyn, spoilers ito
Kasi given na may semi omniscience ang readers because of the different POVs per chapter, alam mong fruitless yung adventure dun ni Brienne. Kaantok pa. Kaya sakin, good thing na iniba ng landas ni D&D si brienne sa series.
in contrast to AFFC, ADWD was a great read for me. Excited ako lagi pag yung POV for the chapter is either tyrion or dany. Epic kasi build up ng Mereen (Merreen?) dun sa book. Ganda rin nung Jon chapters dun. -
^ I don't like the Dany chapters, I find myself counting the number of pages left every time I'm reading her POVs. For me it's, Davos (great dude), Tyrion, Jaime, Theon (especially Dance with Dragons), Sansa (because of her naive perspective), Arya, Jon, and Cersei (because as you said, we readers are omniscient on what's really happening, her chapters are fun to read dahil sa skewed perspective nya at batshit insanity).

theres many parts sa Feast of Crows na astig like yung mga brotherhood of banners na patago nag spy

hehe. unpopular opinion.. but for me maganda ang chapters about journey ni brienne, dito kasi naemphasize yung buhay ng smallfolks especially yung part kay septon meribald.. dito ko naappreciate yung writing ni george martin kasi hindi lang puro politics at lords and ladies ung mga books.. pinakita dito yung effect ng wars sa mga commoners at mga peasants.. actually dun pa sa mga monolouge ni septon meribald about "the broken man" ako naantig. eto ang the best speech for me in all of the books. kaya i felt bad na hindi ito binigyan ng justice dun sa episode 7 this season. to think "broken man" yung title nya.
excerpt lang dun sa monologue ni septon (sorry spoilers, for me the best in the books)

May illustrated Edition na yung ASOIAF Book 1, iba siya dun sa Graphic Novel version dahil hindi naman buong book, illustrated.
Gusto ko sana bilhin kaso mas inuna ko na yung World of Ice and Fire. Kumpletuhin ko na lang in the future. -

Well, naging hard siya nun pinanganak si Tyrion at namatay esmi niya. Si Mad King kasi nakidnap dun ata sa war of ninepenny kings. Nabaliw na siya dahil dun.

Any bookreader here who has bought and read Fire and Blood? Naha-hype nanaman ako dahil sa upcoming season 8 release. Kaso hati yung reviews eh. Hard bound palang kasi available. Wait for paper back ba or worth it naman yung hard bound?
