Intel Core i3 / Core i5 / Core i7 Thread (Skylake - 100 series chipset - LGA 1151)

temps are fine and fps are not dropping.. ano po kaya prob? and possible solution to this problem? salamat po..

  • ^ Bottleneck. Solution is probably upgrade or remove some background tasks to lower CPU usage.

  • @TPC_GameGuard025

thanks for the reply.. will upgrading to an i7 6700 solve this issue po?
  • ^ yes sir. malaking tulong yung extra 4 threads niyan para sa cpu intensive game like PUBG.
  • @TPC_GameGuard025

okay sir.. maraming salamat po :D
  • Coming from a Core i5 6600, the upgrade should be at least a 6-core 12-thread CPU.
  • mga paps need your adivce.

    MSI H310M GAMING ARCTIC-4400
    MSI H310M GAMING PLUS 4060

    salamat sa tutulong

    budget 8-10k

Try mo muna yung settings below sir, baka kasi hindi maganda yung settings kaya prone to stutter:

    - Make sure vsync is off. When vsync is enabled yung framerate mo becomes locked to the monitor refresh rate. So on a 60Hz monitor yung framerate will be locked to 60 fps. Kung hindi kaya ng PC mo i-maintain ang 60 fps on some parts of the game, mag drop down siya to 30 fps causing lag and stutter.

    - Set a framerate cap within the PUBG game, instructions here: <click here for link>. Set the framerate cap to the max refresh rate of your monitor. So if you are using a 60Hz monitor, set the framerate cap to 60 fps. This will prevent your CPU and GPU from rendering excess frames your monitor cannot display and saves CPU / GPU cycles. You will notice your minimum framerate will increase. If you cannot set a framrate cap within the game you can also use RTSS.

    - Play PUBG at very low settings or the lowest settings. Many play PUBG at low settings to get better performance and to gain a game advantage since they can see the other players while trees / buildings / foliage are not yet rendered.

    - Play in full-screen non-windowed mode so the game engine gets the most resources from the GPU. Unfortunately alt-tabbing will be slower but if you are going to browse or watch youtube in the middle of your game, might as well do it on a separate screen (tablet, smartphone, or laptop).

    - Check your CPU temps and clock speeds by running HWiNFO in the background while playing your game. Sometimes kapag nag 100% ang CPU, temps are too high and forced siya to throttle to lower speeds. This is a common issue with the Intel stock CPU cooler since hindi niya kaya sustain ang Turbo speeds ng CPU for long periods. Makikita mo temps are low pero clock speeds are low din kasi throttled down na ang CPU. Buying a budget CPU cooler can help make sure yung CPU mo runs at Turbo Boost speeds a lot longer.

Try mo muna yung above tips before upgrading... pero kung ganun parin then consider upgrading your CPU + RAM.

Only buy the Core i7-6700 kung makukuha mo siya at a very low price (Php 8K and below). Kung mag spend ka ng Php 15K on a brand new Core i7-6700 lugi ka sir. Better to buy Core i5-8400 + B360 motherboard or Ryzen 5 2600 + B450 motherboard at that price.

    Cpu: i7 3820
    Gpu: Gtx 1060 6gb OC
    Ram: 2133 ddr3

    Thanks sa sasagot.
  • ask lang mga ka intel planning to upgrade my i5 760 1st gen hehe.
kelan po release ng 10th gen? ty
  • New Cinebench R20 Benchmak..

  • Hi, Good afternoon

Pa ask ako mga ka TPC. Noob question

Does it make sense if mag i5 9600k OC capable and mobo OC Capable. kung hindi ko naman u ooverclock ?

as check base frequence kasi ng i5 9600k ay 3.6 compare sa non oc na 2.8 at 3.0 lang.

Question is: worth it kaya mag OC vs Non OC proc. at malaki ba ang gain ?

    thank you!

Yes it makes sense parin bumili ng Core i5-9600K and Z370 or Z390 motherboard.

As long as hindi bitin ang CPU cooling at power delivery ng motherboard, yung Core i5-9600K will run at higher turbo boost speeds for longer periods.

    --------------------------------------------

Ang magagastos mo halos same lang as Core i5-9600K + overclockable motherboard.
  • @sleep - very well said bro. sulit talaga mag TPC. btw share ko lang. i5 760 pa cpu ko dipa dn nabigay 9yrs old na. pero mabilis pa din hangang ngaun. planning to get i5 9600k.

  • choices, choices. nakaka temp mag upgrade ng Intel. haiz
  • Nilangaw na ata. Itong thread na ito ????
  • Ryzen is the way na eh, pero pabas ng 10mm cpu palag na ulet yan.

"King's are supposed to be always on top"
  • ^ Intel is getting crushed by AMD atm hahaha. Not a hater/fanboy. I am using i7-7700 but to be honest AMD is really having the upper hand right now in CPU division. Which is good for us consumers for future upgrades. :)

  • up
  • Sir ano po equivalent ni 3700x and x570 sa intel? lagi kasi out of stock si amd might as well consider na lang din magintel ulit kung hindi naman overkill ang price range
  • Core i7 10700K at Z490 ang equivalent pero I suggest, kung pang gaming lang at consumer use-case like web browsing, MS office, audio/video consumption, mas sulit yung i5 10600K.

Thanks boss. magbasa basa ako reviews. puro kasi amd inaral ko. Buti my active pa dito. Napansin ko parang patay na ung thread . Hehe
  • @papaey

If I were you, I would not build a PC right now. All of the prices will be high because of limited Supplies due to the Pandemic.
  • I know we are all for Ryzen but can anyone give me ideas on a 9th/10th gen intel build for mid ranging gaming got a budget of 50K. I can work with an i5 or i7. I would greatly appreciate your inputs masters!
  • ^ 10600K or wait for Rocket Lake (11th Gen).
