Converge ICT Fiber ISP Thread (never ever hard reset your modem and refer to page 1 for FAQs)

  • How long would it take for your to recieve a response from converge when you submitted your application with requirements attached to it? I just submitted mine 2 days ago.

    hardcore gaming pa naman ako kpag weekend di pwede ganito lagi dc sa pldt bagal pa ng service
  • Good AM. Wala po ba problema connection ninyo ngayon? Almost 12 hours na down samin. Blinking yung LOS sa modem. Marikina area.
  • Badtrip about sa converge last night, kakakabit lang and working na before sila umalis then paguwi ng father ko hindi na gumagana dahil Blinking red yung LOS which is cause na putol na fibre sa nagawa nilang connection. Hays, okay na sana eh :(
  • ^same scenario tayo. red los after 2hrs na kabit,
    pero hindi putol line ko kasi nawawala yung red los. ang problema walang akong ip add. pinalitan nila ng modem after 5days ayun okay na.

    Update from converge:
    We have received update from our Network Team that, Brgy. officer of San Roque Marikina has been refused the cut fiber restoration due to no working permit at the area. Rest assured that we will keep you posted.

    Reason for outage: Cut fiber 48core
    Action Taken:
    Location: Along J.P. Rizal cor. I.Mendoza St Brgy. San Roque Marikina city

    Sent application last Saturday
    Received SMS yesterday afternoon asking to pay for the initial cash out

    May seven days po tayo para mag bayad Ng initial cash out.

  • I don't know what the F is wrong. Pangatlong modem na to sa loob ng isang linggo pero hindi parin madetect ng maayos yung wifi. Inunplug ko yung wifi router namin thinking na baka nagcacause ng interference sa signal yung magkatabing wireless modem pero it's the same result though I'm more than satisfied with the speed and stability so far.

  • So far hindi ko pa naging issue ang LOS. Di tulad sa dati kong plan na konting ambon lang nad-dc agad. Baka depende talaga sa area. Pa dating sa games, ok ang ping sa LoL,Dota 2 at iba pang Steam games. Ang issue ko lang ay sa US based servers, abot 150-200ms.

    been a member of this forum for a couple of years already, what i notice is that people only post when they have complain/s or are trying to look for answers to their questions.

    As for me i only reply to posts that i can answer, to be straight up forward i'm so glad i made the switch to converge a year ago.
    regarding the frequent LOS or no internet or intermittent connection. i haven't had any issues with them.
