Converge ICT Fiber ISP Thread (never ever hard reset your modem and refer to page 1 for FAQs)

    Yes nawawala wala din kanina around 12pm cubao area.
  • Bakit kaya capped at 200mbps(25mb/s) yung Steam download speed ko? Speed test is 300+mbps. No limit sa settings

  • ^If out of contract kana, mas mabilis kapag nag-apply ng bago kaysa sa pagpapalipat. Mas matagal yung process ng relocation.

    ok salamat sir nakita ko na, kaya pala wala sa root user nasa admin pala. anyway may weird lang sa speed test ko. pag sa LAN cable ako nag test, 100mbps DL/UL ng speed ko. pero pag sa iphone thru wifi, yung DL speed nasa 200mbps tapos UL ko same nasa 100mbps. kahit nag ilang test na ako yan pa rin lumalabas? hindi kaya may kinalaman dito yung 5Ghz ng modem ko at 5Ghz ng iphone wifi ko? ang plan ko pala is 50mbps pero 100mbps daw muna na free within 6 months tapos ibabalik na raw sa 50mbps.

  • @tristanvsm may ibat ibang factors: lan port ng device nakinokonek mo sa converge onu baka hindi gigabit port or pwedeng lan cable na gamit mo din. kung tama yung pagkakaintindi ko sa tanong mo na bakit 100 mbps lang pag nakawired.

  • Anyone here near Proj. 8 having intermittent connections right now? Or experiencing frequent LOS? Recently, paminsan ilang minuto na walang internet, paminsan naman inaabot na ng ilang oras.

    I assumed na this is on FiberX 1500 no? I did a speedtest dun sa bahay ng kakilala ko. Apparently, kapag sa Ookla ka nagtest. 200 Mbps yung lumalabas sa DL, upload is 100 Mbps which is tama naman (We know naman na boosted to 100 Mbps yung mga FiberX 1500 for 6 months). Pero sa actual DL, 100 Mbps lang talaga both DL and UL (Fast/Google Speedtest). Not sure anong ginawa nila, pero parang deliberately nila tinataasan yung results sa Ookla Speedtest lol.

  • My 300 Mbps connection needs a modem reset EVERYDAY otherwise it reverts to 100 Mbps. Request for a modem change kaya ito?

    I still have the old modem which doesn't have 5G. I'm on LAN by the way.

    How do you know that the modem reverts back to 100 Mbps? I am experiencing the same issue. Thank you!
  • Converge seems to be throttling my 300Mbps connection. Unang palo 300 Mbps then it slowly goes down to 70-80Mbps which is lower than the 30% minimum speed. Any way to fix this? Thank you :))

    Same po dito kaya po pupuntahan ni misis sa opisina nila bago magbayad bukas. 1 month na po 70-80Mbps yung speed ng internet namin eh naka Plan 2000 TOD kami.

    yung saken pinalitan nila ng with 5G modem. Nasa 1500X plan ako (60mbps). tapos diba nagfree upgrade +10mpbs yata pero lockin ka ulit ng 24 months. Eh kada Speedtest ko papalo ng 50+ tapos babalik sa 40+ so tumawag ako at pinapatanggal yung free upgrade kasi ganun lang din pala yung speed na makukuha ko tapos naka lockin pa. Ayun after 3 days may dumating technician need na daw talaga palitan yung modem ng may 5G

    Nag email sa akin converge. May bayad daw sa new router kung papapalit ko. Anyway I'm happy to report that when I emailed techniclal support, they must have remotely fixed my speed issues kasi stable na ulit ako at 300mbps. No more annoying reset kada araw.

    Mukhang ayaw nila ng balik orginal plan ah. Yun kasi balak ni misis kung ganun din naman yung speed na makukuha, patanggal na lang yung upgrade, kahit wag na ibalik yung original lockin period date, kasi mahirap naman magbayad ng hindi nakukuha yung speed na binabayaran.

    Remotely, hmmm...so sa system pala talaga nila ang problem. sana nga system lang nila para madaling maayos at maimplement agad :)
  • Wag nating tawaging 5G ang 5GHz wifi band, please. 5G is for mobile data. 5GHz is a wifi band. Two totally different things.

  • ^technically 5g and 5ghz is the same. to be honest ill just call it 5G wifi or 5g mobile to differentiate between the two.
  • Hi. We recently got connected and we have a ZTE670L modem. However the admin password Converge@zte123 posted on page 1 does not work.

    Any clue / updated admin password?

    How are they the same technically? 5G frequencies are in the MHz range and is referring to "generation". 5GHz is referring to the frequency band used by wifi.

    The technically correct terms are "5GHz Wifi" and "5G Cellular/Mobile". I don't recall anyone calling 5GHz Wifi as 5G when we were still at the 4G mobile technology period.
