Converge ICT Fiber ISP Thread (never ever hard reset your modem and refer to page 1 for FAQs)

  • Mas okay ba i-bridge mode ung ZTE F670L yung rounded at iba firmware hindi yung green to AX1500 na router? May improvements ba sa speed nya or okay lang as router mode nalang si AX1500? Thanks!
  • Question lang kung meron dito naka-subscribe sa Converge Vision or kung merong may idea sa tanong ko...

    Interested kasi ako dito sa Vision but it's not available outside NCR daw. I currently reside in Cavite (with Converge FiberX), pero may Converge FiberX subscription ako sa QC sa condo ng kapatid ko. Question is... kung mag-subscribe ako sa Vision using my account sa QC tapos dalhin yung Vision box dito sa Cavite, mag-work kaya?

  • pwede bang basta lang mag palit ng router, from skyworth to huawei, both from converge.
  • ^If sila (CNVRG) nag-initiate — Yes, as long as compatible yung ONT sa OLT nila sa area. If ikaw as an end user, No — naka-register yung SN ng ONT sa system.

    Sadly this can only be answered by testing it out. It may or may not work. If the IPTV box isn't tied to the modem / router's mac address then puede siguro.

  • Just extend it indefinitely, very impressive naman kasi ang infrastructure nitong converge, zero downtime unlike other isps.
  • I'm not sure of the "zero downtime" part. All ISP's here have downtime.
  • Hi! Other CGNAT what other fiber network IP-related "negatives" are there to watch out for or you wish was not available?
  • Anyone with XCLSV (Plan 3500 and up) who can confirm with me kung ano ba talaga email/hotline nila?

    Idk if tama yung mga nabigay nilang email and hotline for XCLSV. Pero walang sumasagot sa email, plus yung hotline naman di nadedetect account ko as XCLSV kaya di tumutuloy; altho possible na dahil kaka-kabit pa lang ng account ko yesterday and di pa na-uupdate sakanila.

    Anyways, for those who got Static IP, gano katagal ito na process?

  • Zero downtime since they implemented this promo, (edit) which means their infrastructure can handle it. Obviously, all ISPs have downtimes lol but in the case of Converge, they are very rare.

    Yup mukang tama naman nabigay nila. Pero until now hindi ako tinatanggap after mag lagay ng account number since mukang hindi pa nag rereflect sa system nila. Kahit FiberX3500 + Static IP yung sakin. Sobrang hassle.

    2nd day na after installation, and sa application pa lang kasama na yung Static IP and until ngayon wala pa rin yung Static IP kahit na approve nila via email. Naka 20+ na tawag na ata ako kaka follow up wala pa rin nangyayari. Di naman responsive yung XCLSV email. Sa XCLSV naman na hotline di ako makaproceed.

    Call the regular hotline and complain that your account number isn't being recognized by the XCLSV hotline?

    I already did everything. I've been calling multiple times a day to follow up on the concern. Walang progress. Kahit yung XCLSV email nila walang reply 2 days na.

    Nakaka-init ng ulo 3rd day pa lang since installation. Kapag hindi nila maprovide ng buo yung service na inapplyan ko; I'm definitely not paying the next monthly bill. TBH, kung ma apply lang nila yung Static IP na inavail ko since application pa lang, okay na ko. Kaso wala pa rin. Wala na ko pakelam dun sa free wifi mesh na supposedly included as long mas mabigay nila yung Static IP na inavail ko.

    cc mo NTC mabilis pa sa alas kwatro yan.
    Problem ko before refund, katagal months inabot, nun na cc ko NTC action agad sila.

    Sa company namin ako din may hawak ng connections, static IP din problem nun nag pa static ako.
    Reasons nila eh wala available na static IP, as per them depende sa avilabilty yung static, medyo naniniwala naman ako dun. Pero again nung cc ko uli NTC na static IP naman nila net sa office.

    Nag CC na ko sa NTC sa dalawang separate email. Yung isa sinulat ko buong details from start, tagged these 3 emails ([email protected], [email protected], [email protected]). Sinulat ko na pati account number at ticket numbers (static ip and xclsv access).

    Then nireplan ko yung isang still open ticket tagged with NTC. Still no reply 12 hours later. Hopefully bukas may reply. Gaano kabilis response sayo? Ano yan a day after binigyan na kayo static IP?

    Yung upgrade ng speed, within 24 hrs nun nag reply yung NTC, na upgrade agad ni converge.

    Pero yung static IP nun check ko email ko, inabot din pala ng 8 days. Depende nga sa availability yung static IP.

    Thanks for the update! At least may idea na ako ngayon how long it might take.

    Pero it might boil down to luck na talaga siguro kung kelan talaga magkakaron ng available address. Hoping they can provide me with one soon. Tinag ko na si NTC baka sakaling bumilis once ma acknowledge ni NTC. Haha.

  • 100Mbps lang speed ng 1500X Plan ko, pwede ba ipa upgrade ng 200Mbps ng walang babayaran?
  • ^baka kailangan mo pa realign, nasa 300 mbps na normally ang 1500x, send ka ng ss ng speed test from different sites (dapat nakahardwired at naka off ang wifi) pati yung sn ng modem mo via email.

    Dati kasi 300Mbps, now nasa 99Mbps nalang. binabaan yata
  • ^Check mo muna yung speed via wired connection. Make sure na yung linked speed is 1Gbps (use at least CAT6 ethernet cable). If ganoon pa rin, then sa CNVRG yung problem.
  • ^kung dati nakakakuha ka ng 300 mbps, try running a speed test via wired cable (only 1 device connected) while wifi is off, if hindi parin tumaas, try a different cable muna baka sira na yung cable mo. di ko alam kung pwede macheck yung speed ng lan cable na nakakabit sa port sa settings ng onu, sa 3rd party router ko kasi makikita kung 1gb ba yung network speed ng lan cable na nakakabit sa port or 100 mbps lang. also kung may way man, pwede mo itry sa ibang lan port din, if ganun parin, palit cable muna.

    if hindi parin effective, email mo na si converge, baka need magchange ng onu or may settings on their end na need ayusin

  • 99Mbps, most probably 100Mbps lang yung ethernet link mo kapag ganyan. Like others said, make sure to test via LAN cable and that your link is 1000Mbps/1Gbps.
