napagana ko na interband ng B818 nag experiment ako, meron sya bandlocking thru bookmark at Hmanager, wala lang ako android phone kaya hindi ko magamit yan Hmanager, sa bookmark na lang,i assume na mas bibilis pag nag aggregate ang B1+B40 (1A-40D) dahil same 20mhz nga, pangit pala combi na yan, max lang na 110mbps, kahit pumapalo ng 70mbps yung 1A at 100mbps sa 40D pero pag aggregate nag iiba yung result, by default sa 40D nag coconnect yung b818, max 130mbps, best combi B1+B3+B28 (1A-3A-3A-28A) primary B1 max 200mbps DL/ 60mbps UL, B3+B40 (3A-3A-40D) primary B3 stable 150-200mbps kahit peak hours, pero lumilipat sa B40 dahil sa signal strength, pag B40 na primary hindi na makapag aggregate sa ibang band, nalalock sa 40D, ito din talaga panlaban ni smart na frequency napaka lakas humatak
hindi nakakapag aggregate pag primary band is B28 & B5 pang support lang talaga low band,
kaso, i noticed sa CPE Pro 1 ko na kapag may certain band na hindi solo (sa case ng Smart Band 3 and 40), hindi niya yun pinaghihiwalay. So it's gonna be 3A-3A or neither
ganito yata talaga algo sa lahat ng huawei modem, unlike pag smartphone napag hihiwalay pa

Planning to get my first 5G cpe/router
Super overwhelmed ako sa mga info available so I will list my top 3 nlng and wanted to know your expert inputs
1. rocket wifi (portability)
2. Vn 700+ (good pricing but skeptical sa perforamance dahil mix ang reviews nakikita ko)
3. Either oppo or huawei cpe
pref may band/cell locking sana.
also with external ant ports

So-so ako sa vn007+ nde consistent yun speed maganda lang yan pag nasa biyahe or maganda ang 5g signaL sa area mo
Overprice yun h112 due to limited supply and scalpers dati bili ko nasa 15k lang yan.

May certain areas pa rin akong napupuntahan na kayang mag primary band for LTE-CA ang Band 28 but sa area ko di pa rin kaya.
As for the CA quirks ng Huawei CPE Pro, habang wala pang higher level modification and tweaks available for it, tinanggap ko lang muna na ganun talaga and tried to live with it. ????????????
Smart's band 5 never really impressed me even back nung 3G era. It usually performed relatively bad that even with its added range and building penetration, I can usually live without it and would disable it via band locking.

really depends ano primary use mo for it, yung devices na magco-connect to it most of the time, how long those devices gonna be connected, and how much budget mo.

mas mataas yung yung current demands ng 5g modems to the point na dapat you should make sure yung powerbank and adapter mo can meet it safely.
as for H112-372 (370 is getting cheaper but has limited 5g bands), malaking issue talaga yung pagiging overpriced niya these days that it prevents me from highly recommending it. though for those na can find a good price one, it's okay and tried and tested.

hindi sya certain areas, depende sa device talaga, using my iphone nakakapag aggregate B28 primary band, pero ok na din useless kung sa huawei modem gagamitin primary band ang B28 mostly ng mga external antenna high frequency supported, hirap makahanap ng may low band, kung gagamit man ako ng B28 mas ok pa internal antenna pumapalo ng 30mbps, pag naka external using globe mimo antenna nag mamax lang ng 15mbps,

area talaga or yung cell tower specifically. coz yung Huawei 5G CPE Pro ko could do B28 primary band LTE CA before. granted, need ko muna gawin siyang primary band tapos saka i-add yung other bands since may higher primary band priority si Band 3 and Band 1 so if sabay ko sila i-on, B1/B3 magiging primary. now, it no longer works dito even with my other devices. Though I went to some other place the other day and gumana naman B28 primary band LTE CA.

For Band 28 and external antennas, if the device itself has sufficiently good signal for B28 then yung discrepancy in speed gamit external antennas might be due to signal loss from the antenna to the modem via its connecting cables.
Usually naman yung bands na pinaggagamitan ng antenna are bands na too weak for the internal modem antenna and that
(signal level of antenna) - (loss via antenna wire to modem)
is still greater than
(signal level received by modem itself)
One can get the best scenario by using higher quality antenna and cables (for best gain and minimal loss) and/or use shorter antenna cables.

yes naka aggregate nga sya sa B1, yan dalawang frequency lang naman na yan yung unang ginamit ng smart for LTE network, recently lang B3 B28 B40 B41 nung nauso ang CA

goods naman yung cable na gamit, i mean hindi supported ng antenna yung low band, 1700-2700 specs nya, pag ginamit sa B28 nag iimprove naman yung signal strength pero yung speed hindi namamax baka nga dahil hindi supported ng antenna

speaking of Smart's earlier LTE bands, asar ako dati na by 2014/2015 eh sinasabi ng Smart na supported daw nila Band 1 and Band 3 pero nasasagap mo lang readily ay B1.

congested na din sila ng mga time na yan kaya nag expand, madami pa pala sila available na frequency pero hindi ginagamit, tinipid talaga yung mga end user, sa area ko 2019 lang nadagdag yung B28 B3 B40, yung B41 B42 hindi naimplement

Well, by around 2016 din kasi naungusan na sila ng market share ng Globe. To think na approximately 70-30 yung marketshare split ng Smart-PLDT group vs Globe group by around 2011/2012 nung nabili ng PLDT ang Digitel.
So mej kinabahan ang Smart at nagstart na rin ng improvement nila though sa ibang areas nahuli ng konti.

sir ung smart home wifi 5g router po ba? Is the sim removable? hindi po ba siya naka built-in? also will it work sa smart rocket sim prepaid?

budget around 15-20k. yes totoo sir mejo di ko na kaya sa budget ung 30k++ na cpe.

if you have more than 2 regular connected devices and/or those devices connect more than 2 hours a day, CPE yung better choice lalo na if stationary naman siya most of the time. If pocket wifi kasi, yung consistent heating nung device while in use will kill yung battery and hurt performance.
if may main internet ka na and more of a backup thing lang yung 5g device, pocket wifi is somewhat feasible.
As for specific model, i guess mag-scout ka na lang anong best na makukuha mo with your budget and available suppliers since each has their own pros and cons

I have an issue with my SMART BRO ROCKET SIM. The internet works in facebook, tiktok and youtube. But for some strange reason, di ko mapagana ang speedtest and hindi ako maka google search sa chrome.
So i tested this particular sim sa phone ko and it works just fine walang issue. By the way I am using Huawei B818. I tested a different sim with the B818 and wala naman issue.
Has anyone experienced this?

Smart 5G home router is a removable sim. Puwede rocket sim. Kung goods ang 5G signal sa area mo. Better get smart or tnt prepaid and subs to 599 unli 5g. Else get a rocket sim and subs to unli 599 with magic 99. May selected sims pa rin nagooffer ng unli 299 via gigalife or *123#
