  • what's the minimum platform to not get CPU bottlenecked with a 6800xt? Coming from an I5 8400. Latest and greatest is great but price to performance is what I'm after.

    At least Ryzen 5-5600

    @Mang_Kanor

Hindi naman pero I'd skip ang current Intel, for the price hindi na worth it dahil sa Ryzen 7***X3D plus dead-end platform na yan.
  • As usual fakuryu to the rescue sa query ko. Thank you. I trust ur insights more than my google searches which would often lead you to spend on unnecessary hardware if all u want to do is game.
  • Good day to all,

I kinda want to go 5700x with 6700XT for my new RIG

Marami ako nabasa na go for MSI B550 Tomahawk MAX Wifi (5000 series ready) or maybe a x570 Board

But meron ba kayang B550M Equivalent with "MSI B550 Tomahawk MAX Wifi" na 5000 series ready na? Since I plan to get a mATX Case (Deepcool CH370)

If I mainly wanna just use my new RIG for 80% Gaming 20% Productivity.
- planning to get 1TB ... for school and light gaming po. Thanks

Check MSI B550M Mortar Max Wifi

- planning to get 1TB ... for school and light gaming po. Thanks

    Kung makahanap ka pa:

    ssd, Samsung 870 QVO 1TB - 4650php
ssd, Western Digital WD Blue 1TB 3D NanD - 4500php

    @LeXafar

  • ^

Goods din ung Crucial MX500 if nakasale. Gamit ko as game drive dati
  • @Sir markieboy

Check MSI B550M Mortar Max Wifi

I did check but it is Black - Silver board not to mention, I don't really need Wifi? If I plan to just connect my Lan directly

WHAT IF, I want to get a MSI MAG B550M Mortar (Non Wifi) for my build for the clean aesthetic all out black look.

But are the new manufactured B550M Motherboard like B550M Mortar (2023) are 5000 series chip ready out of the box?

Kinda hard to check even in reddit. Since most post I read suggest going for another brand like Gigabyte or Asus or like you mention, Check MSI B550M Mortar Max Wifi.

No no, May last post here is about whether I should go 3060ti or 3070 or AMD, in which Sir Ignus happily reply that RX 6700 XT is the way to go... for now.

Also, your last post was before I ask my new question about B550M Mobo recommendation.

And Like How I ask @Sir markieboy, Is there a MSI equivalent that is mATX and Black but also 5000 series chip ready out of the box?

If I will go for MSI B550M Mortar Max Wifi, I can always go for the White-Black theme (without RGB) and may White Cable Extension, I guess xD

For context: I'm quite interested on the Deepcool CH370 Case. And I'm getting a MSI RX 6700 XT Gaming X for a All out Black Minimalist look inside.

    Thank you both for answering.
  • @LeXafar

What I meant was, I already composed my response and akala ko I sent it since I vividly remember that I responded. Mukhang hindi pala.

Is there a MSI equivalent that is mATX and Black but also 5000 series chip ready out of the box?

Generally yes, most B550 should support Ryzen 5*** out of the box unless mas nauna lumabas yung board vs sa CPU like the newish R5-5600, R7-5700X, at R7-5800X3D w/c came out later vs most B550 boards.

Now whether it supports the CPU out of the box or not, meron naman BIOS flashback ang MSI B550M Mortar/ Max Wifi to flash the BIOS even w/o a supported processor (just remember na FAT32 dapat ang format nung USB mo)

    Thanks bro. Good day all.

Mukhang Main choice for motherboard kukunin ko ay yun B550M Mortar/Max Wifi

If Not, there is always the MSI B550M PRO-VDH WIFI

or Gigabyte B550M Aorus Elite / Pro (5000 series chip ready) or like you recommend Asus TUF Gaming B450M Pro Gaming 2 as alternative.

  • @LeXafar

CPU: Intel i7 7700 stock clock
    Mobo: Asus B250M-K
    GPU: MSI GTX 1070 gaming X 8gb
    RAM: Kingston Hyperx Fury 8gb Ddr4 2666mhz (clock @ 2400Mhz)
    SSD: Kingston SSDNow V300 120GB
    HDD: 1TB Seagate Barracuda
    PSU: Seasonic S12ii-620W (7years old :D )
    Cooler: Intel Stock Cooler

-plan ko po sana is mag add ng additional 8gb RAM or palitan ung current SSD ko ng atleast 256gb na M.2 since ito ung isa sa pinakalumang parts gusto ko po sana kasi magkaron ng konting boost performance when using softwares mentioned above.
-problem is di ako sure kung working ung Nvme M.2 slot nya bigay lang po kasi sakin ung mobo and di nya rin nagamit ung slot na un before. may way po ba para matest ung slot unless lalagyan po talaga?

    maraming salamat po sa tutugon.

  • good day po uli

No issue.
  • ^ in terms of warranty wala daw po local si bequiet?
  • Mga paps. Arctic P12 PWM pa rin ba recommended nowadays? Or there are newer much better fans na medyo bugdet friendly.

700 Php yung 3pack ng non-rgb while 900 yung 3pack ARGB. May daisy chain connection din yung PWM & RGB.
  • @grugg

^ in terms of warranty wala daw po local si bequiet?

  • bequiet purepower 11fm 750 or seasonic gx 750 1k po difference TIA....
  • @grugg

bequiet purepower 11fm 750 or seasonic gx 750 1k po difference TIA....

Pwede mo din to idagdag dyan:

    psu, FSP Hydro G Pro GOLD 850W - 6500php
    psu, FSP Hydro G Pro GOLD 750W - 6100php
    psu, MSI MPG A750GF GOLD 750W - 6000php

Between yung sa BeQuiet at Seasonic, mas maganda yung Seasonic. Then etong mga nilist ko ay a notch higher din vs sa BeQuiet.
  • ^ nka fsp ako now sir nasira nung jan pa until oct pa sana ung warranty kaso ang hirap mag pa warranty inemail ko na ung FSP global pati fb page walang reply din si seller tinuro lang din ako sa FSP global which is nka ilang email nako
