If you're using the vga of the mobo then you're not using the capabilities of your 1060. If your monitor has HDMI in, just buy an HDMI cable. If not, then get a VGA to HDMI converter.
As long as the resolution is supported, it should be ok. And video quality should get better overall due to using the 1060. But what exactly do you mean by "quality"? Personally, when my rig was new in 2015, I had to use the included VGA to DVI converter in my Palit GTX 970 to use it with my monitor since it didn't come with HDMI. I got the HDMI cable a month later.
Thanks dito boss. Sapat parin ba yung rx 570 now?
For Gaming and office tools purposes
i5 6400
Gigabyte b150m
Hyperx 2133 8gb
Rx 570 8gb
Actually decent pa naman ang PC mo for gaming at 1080p, and kung ako nasa sitwasyon mo I would spend the Php 15K sa videocard nalang or maybe videocard + PSU. For office use more than capable parin ang Core i5 6400 pero it would be nice kung naka SSD ka na para mabilis ang response sa Windows.
With a videocard upgrade malaki ang jump in gaming performance and mapapansin mo kaagad while playing. Yung framerates mo mas mataas and you can play mga demanding games at higher graphics settings. Pero may compromise parin na yung CPU mo is only quad-core so may times na may framerate drops / stutter sa mga CPU demanding scenes. So iwas lang muna sa mga CPU heavy games until maka-upgrade ka na to a better CPU.
Assuming yung PSU mo is a good 550W - 650W model... pwede ka mag-upgrade to these videocards:
Php 14,670 = Colorful iGame GTX1070Ti Vulcan U Top-V
Php 15,480 = ZOTAC GTX 1660 Ti AMP!
Yung lumang RX 570 8GB pwede mo din i-sell sa 2nd hand market and pambili siya ng PSU or SSD or pandagdag nalang sa CPU upgrade budget mo in the future.
Suggestion ko go for budget case fans tulad ng DeepCool RF140 2-in-1 pack which comes with two 140mm RGB fans.
Another option is DeepCool CF140 2-in-1 na may addressable RGB at support for 5V A-RGB headers sa motherboard. Pero mas mahal lang at Php 2,040.
Pa suggest naman ng build at around 40-45K with a 1080p monitor. If kaya ng Ryzen 5 2600 or alternative, not sure kasi kung widely available pa 2600 sa market. Also at least 16GB of Ram, decent 256 or 500GB SSD and a 1TB of HDD storage. My friend would be using the PC for work from home tasks and gaming.
Currently looking for a 1TB SSD with a budget of around 5k-6k any recommendations po? Will be primarily used as a main drive to substitute my aging 2tb HDD. Will be mostly used for normal day-to-day tasks, light gaming, watching movies/series.
Also, ano po ma rerecommend niyo na free program to migrate my entire HDD to the SSD? I can delete naman most of the unnecessary files sa 2tb HDD ko and will be left with only 500gb of used data para may ample space pag transfer.

Yep oks pa RX570, maasim pa yan :D ang real upgrade dyan nasa GTX1660ti and above pa. Yung RX580/GTX1060 ay more of a side grade
@pauljohn001
would the vga to hdmi converter make a better video quality?
*No especially if the signal is coming from the VGA source (GPU on VGA out to monitor HDMI in) since the signal is still "analog" that is just converted to be run on a digital signal. Basically garbage-out-garbage-in.
*VGA has a lower video fidelity

I'd say go for gold and get this:
ssd, 1tb Patriot VPN100 SSD M.2 NVMe VPN100-1TBM28H - 7500php, it is not the "fastest" per se, but its endurance is stupidly high at 1665 TBW, yung Samsung 970 Evo Plus ay nasa 600 TBW just to compare.
I appreciate it.
Hahahaha

Also, i forgot to mention wala po palang m.2 slot yung mobo ko, I'm using an MSI H110M Pro VD.
Once ma confirm ko ung availability nung parts (especially those Patriots), I can probably proceed with the build by December (Xmas Gift sa sarili). Then benta ko ung rig ko today, which in turn will go to my monitor upgrade.
Speaking of which, what are good 1440p, 144Hz, Freesync monitors? If VESA compatible, much better, kasi gusto ko din gumamit ng Desktop Arm Mount sa magiging battlestation ko.

Kung December pa, more or less baka may changes pa mangyari sa parts availability. Pwedeng wala na ung item or may bagong version.

This one depends on the budget since it ranges from 15k to 31k
aye! thanks! btw is it ok to resuse my rams and psu? currently using a dd4 3200 trident Z on my current rig, or should i opt for ,aster memory, thinking of getting a gaming pro carbon as the mobo

PSU - definitely yes, 5 years naman warranty niyan M12II series
RAM - yes also, although your mileage may vary if it will run on 3200/xmp sa magiging new platform mo - try mo muna bago ka bumili ng bago
is it ok to use my seasonic m12evo 750 watts on a rzyen 5 3600?
Yes ok naman ang Seasonic M12II EVO 750W for your setup. Kahit 8-core or 12-core Ryzen + 250W videocard kaya pa naman ng PSU.
and is there notcieable difference upgrading from a 6700k?
Ang Core i7-6700K is still a very fast CPU and kung overclocked yan to 4.7GHz (and above) paired with fast memory, baka hindi pa worth it mag upgrade.
Kung ginagamit mo ang PC for heavy multitasking, video encoding, rendering, streaming, or any task na malakas gumamit ng CPU cores then yung Ryzen 5 3600 will be a good upgrade. Yung extra 2-cores / 4-threads / larger L3 cache will help the Ryzen 5 3600 outperform even an overclocked Core i7-6700K or Core i7-7700K.
Pero kung ginagamit mo ang PC mostly for gaming at ang videocard mo is using a midrange GPU like RTX 2060, GTX 1070, RX Vega and below... baka hindi maging noticeable masyado ang upgrade. Kailangan mo mag benchmark and check fps to see any differences. But in real world gameplay baka hindi masyado noticeable and it depends mostly on the game.
What I think will happen is yung minimum framerates mo will be better sa CPU intensive games but in most other games baka small lang ang difference na hindi noticeable sayo yung improvement.

right now i have an rtx 2070 super, mostly I just game but I also use CAD and Structural Engineering Softwares such as Staad and ETABS, hindi naman ganun ka demanding sila. I was thinking of upgrading because the upgrade seem relatively cheap than it was before, I remember shelling out more money before when I upgraded to my 6th gen skylake with the processor on motherboard alone. And gusto ko i hand down na din ung current rig ko to my lil bro's, 5 & 7 year olds.

Well kung ganun ang case and you are planning to upgrade para pwede i-hand down ang older PC, then upgrading to Ryzen 3000 is fine. Malakas narin ang performance ng RTX 2070 Super and it might be a good idea to upgrade to Ryzen 5 3600 or Ryzen 7 3700X para ma-maximize mo yung GPU performance sa games.
I would probably go Ryzen 5 3600 first... then kung bitin na ang performance niya after 1-2 years do a second CPU upgrade to Ryzen 4000 / Zen 2 refresh hoping for better clock speeds.
Also kung hindi ka naman nagmamadali mag upgrade, you might want to wait a bit baka kasi may parating na sale / promos this holiday season. You might be able to get a CPU + motherboard bundle for cheap or baka may biglang price drop on Intel CPU's like Core i7 9700 or 9700K.

Music to my ears. Kaya December (or, whenever the heck the sale will be) na ako magchecheck availability in earnest. Except maybe for those Patriot RAM and SSD's.

Yung assumption ko kasi is baka mag launch si Intel ng new CPU's and motherboards ng first quarter of 2020, so by end of the year may chance na yung mga PC shops will try to get rid of unsold stock of 9th-gen Intel CPU's and motherboards to clear out inventory. Good chance na ito to get deals on Core i7 9th-gen processors or maybe even older Core i7 8th gen processors at well below the usual price.
But otherwise yung Ryzen 5 3600 will still be the best deal sa midrange CPU costing between Php 10K - Php 11K.
Yep. So long as I can game, goods na ako. This new PC will help me appreciate FF7R (Square Enix would be utterly balls idiot not releasing this for PC), Cyberpunk (same reason binili ko ung previous PC for Witcher 3), and Death Stranding (wala na ciang "Only for PS4" sa marketing nia). Not to mention DMC 5, All the Yakoozies, and Sekiro.
Yan din ang same reason ko for upgrading... just to play Borderlands 3, Cyberpunk, and maybe some other title na Action RPG type :-)
In my case I'm still using the older Ryzen 5 1600X but overclocked just to make the most of clock speeds (all-core). Although usable siya and hindi naman mabagal for my needs... I feel na hindi ko na ma-stretch ang usable lifespan niya and I will probably upgrade the CPU sooner than later. So kung mag videocard upgrade pa ako in the next 2 years definitely magiging CPU limited na ako and will hold me back in buying a more powerful videocard.
Nag upgrade ako recently to RX 5700 and was considering also getting a Ryzen 5 3600... but looking at the benchmarks and all the performance graphs, parang ang liit masyado ng performance increase for spending Php 11K. Pointless din siya i-overclock so I'm holding out and waiting for the next Ryzen CPU release. Hopefully mas malaki ang clock speeds and performance to be worth buying.
I'm hoping magkaroon ng sale sa Ryzen 7 3700X or Core i7 9700 series kasi feeling ko those should be the long term CPU upgrades I should target. At least no need for CPU upgrades maybe in the next 3-4 years :-)
