  • That's my experience with BPI as well, IIRC, but with BDO and Metrobank, it's instant (as soon as the CSR pressed enter) . You will not even view your account on metrobankcard website

    pansin ko din kc na experience ko personally,
    pero sa tototo lang laki ng processing fee o availment fee ng speed cash
    umaabot ng P900 compared sa P250 equivalent ng ibang bank cc provider.

  • Meron bang nabudol na sa naffl ng banko, yung akala mo free pero meron charge after a year.
  • ^ yung hsbc ko parang ganyan dahil walang maski anong black and white na free for life siya. Pero hindi naman issue sa akin dahil pwede mo naman ipacancel anytime.

  • ^ yung sa akin gold din, nagamit ko naman ng 5yrs so far na walang siningil. Pero di ako magugulat kung anytime biglang may annual charge na dahil wala naman tayo pinanghahawakan na free for life talaga. Gamitin lang habang libre. Pag may bayad na, cancel. Simple.

    I have an HSBC Red + supplementary (kay misis) that I applied online last 2019 since naka NAFFL.
    nag 3rd anniversary na ung card last April an so far auto-waived ang AF. if by next year mag charge ng AF then cancel agad...dami naman offers from other bank.

    Pwede. Pero ang tanong ko sa yo ay magpapaabala ka ba na ipaglalaban mo pa pag dating ng panahon na macharge ka? Para sa akin it is not worth it. Gaya nga ng sinabi ko na, gamitin mo na lang habang free. Pag nagsimula magsingil, ipacancel mo. Or ipaglaban mo using your sms if you have the time.
  • ^ exactly, just call and do the "threat of cancellation" if they don't want to remove it when asked nicely (just do it if you are prepared to lose the card, otherwise, just suck it up)

    mas mabait nga ata si citi ngayon saken kasi di ko nagamit pero nag offer sila ng waiving

  • just like any other call center ng mga utilities, escalation also works on credit card. pag di ka makakuha ng result by doing the same process sa csr, escalate it to the teamleader or manager. need lang na may time ka to wait, wag ka papayag na call back just tell them to put you on hold and you will wait.

    The Financial Consumer Protection Act has now been signed into law. What this means for us credit card holder's we can now seek BSP intervention & adjudication for our dispute/claims vs banks that are unduly charging their clients inclusive of unauthorized debits brought about by fraud. Hope this truly works in our favor not just another one of those papogi lang
  • I think that law specifically is for what happened to BDO a few months ago

    CC holders already have fraudulent protection, and it's quite easy to tagged fraudulent CC transaction (just call them), they will even call you when they detected fraudulent transaction -- this is what happened to me twice in my entire 16years holding CC, IIRC Metrobank called me as soon as they detected fraudulent transaction and it was immediately reversed, and also have an experience with BDO with double swiped, it was a bit roundabout, since I needed to "fax" a document, but also was reversed

  • ^ minsan depende din sa merchant. Meron ako dati 2 weeks bago mapost.
  • depende nga yan minsan natapat ka ng weekend ang tagal bago mag post minsan month bago mag post minsan naman hindi nag popost yan at di nababawas sa cl pero magugulat ka nalang may mag post na matagal na transaction kaya ako lage ko record bawat transaction ko sa mobile app credit card records tapos babangain ko ang total credit limit vs total utang.
  • Good news . After many messages back and fort. Ni waive din yung Citibank . Hindi sila kasing strick like last year.

    Normally, gaano katagal nyo bago nareceive within NCR area?

    Tsaka, on average, magkano kaya yung binibigay nilang credit limit based on your experiences nung nabigyan kayo ng citi rewards? Sa BDO kc non may nakapaginform sakin ng minimum na binibigay nila for a certain card, sa citibank kaya? CL kasi ng nauna kong CC from BDO ay 50k, sana tinaasan ng citibank yung ibibigay nila sakin haha

    Possible din ba na mai-enroll ko ng autocharge facility ang citiland credit card sa BDO or BPI?

    if yung BDO CC yung financial reference mo sa pag apply mo sa CITI, probably close to that yung CL mo,
    possible din na a bit higher

    Awts sayang naman pero oks na din at least hiwalay na yung credit limit. Abangan ko na lang yung sa HSBC gold kung ma-approve if mas maganda kahit may anual fee.

    May nakapagtry na bang mag-enroll ng autocharge/autodebit facility ng citiland credit card nila sa BDO or BPI savings account?
