Newbie lang ako sa pagcustomize ng mkb at ang current mkb ko is Logitech G610 Orion MX Blue. Oks naman sya gamitin kaso mejo sawa na ko since gamit ko to nung 2017 pa. Nagteller ako sa isang major bank sa Makati, eto na gamit ko so mejo matindi na serbisyo sakin at sa tingin ko gusto ko na sya ipaframe at ipagpahinga. Haha!
Mejo nagbackread na ko at gusto ko sana ng budget setup na 75% with tactile switches na walang audible click sa actuation point. Parang MX Blue na walang click ganern? Office use and slight gaming lang sya. Di ako mahilig sa RGB but illumination is a huge bonus at may wireless capabilities. Malaking tulong ang inputs nyo mga mamser lalo na at 5k lang budget ko for now. Salamat!
got the keychron k8 pro (aluminium sides with gateron g-pro browns) last wednesday. This is definitely an upgrade from the k8. better sounding @stock, south facing leds, via/qmk support, heavier. only missing the k8 cover, so I had to use the one from the k8. will mod my k8 (add foam in between pcb, polyfill... already did tempest + clipped stabs), and hopefully to make it sound better, else, this k8pro will go to my wife.
Case - Kbdfans Tofu60 (case foam mod)
Board - 2nd hand GK64XS from marketplace
Switches - Gateron CJ (lubed)
Keycaps - Tai-Hao Spring in Kyoto, no 1U shift though :(
Stabilizers - Leftover Durock stabs from other builds (lubed and holee mod)
Anyone know who Datablitz's Akko supplier is? Bumili kasi ako ng Akko keycap set sa kanila pero kulang ng 2 keycaps. Pinaalam ko na sa DB and sabi nila i-follow up daw nila sa supplier. Baka kasi mas mabilis kung ako na mismo kakausap sa supplier.
Mga master meron bang Akko 3068B na 96% layout? Gusto ko ksi yung current implementation nila ng wireless features since merong BT and 2.4ghz connection which is a boon for my multi-rig setup (so I can control them using 1 keyboard).
So far ksi wala ako makita sa website nila though I maybe looking at a wrong portion sa site nila.
Also, does using the Boba U4 Silent switches makes the keyboard feels like a membrane keeb? Plano ko ksi for office use, medyo nakakahiya ksi kung yung keyboard ko lang yung nagpro2duce ng sound - and we all know it gets louder the faster you type XD

i have the bobba u4s silents, tested a few keys replaced with this switch. same feeling na mech keyboard, pero wala talaga sound. may clear silicon sya sa pag bababaan ng paa nung stem so pag nag bottom out ka, parang membrane kb. pero yung pagiging tactile nya, ramdam mo pa rin.

Baka mauwi na lang ako sa Outemu Silent White or Gray :(
Nasira na ata yung mech kb ko (Steelseries Apex M750). Ayaw na gumana, backlights wala na, dead na talaga. Namatay na lang siya habang naglalaro ako. Pag nakakabit siya, nadedetect na may overcurrent sa USB. Plinug ko siya sa ibang PC kaso dead pa rin. Naaayos pa kaya to? Any suggestions? TIA.
