PLDT DSL Plan 1,299 vs PLDT Fibr 1,299

  I have been with SmartBro since 2009. Plan 999. Last week, the migrated my net to ULTERA and it gotten bad to worse.
  I went to the PLDT office requesting for Fibr. Unfortunately, Fibr isn't yet available in my area (sabi nila) - Tondo.
  I ended up choosing their DSL Plan 1,299.
  Is this good? Better?
  Gusto ko talaga Fibr.

  on your plan, theres no noticable difference between them.
  
  sa official fiber plans, malaki difference nila, sa DSL na plan 3500, that's 100mbps for fiber while DSL is only 8mbps.

  Ang gusto ko lang naman ay wag kasing bagal ng ULTERA. May capping pa.
  I just want to know kung hindi mabagal ang DSL plan 1299.
  Sobrang bagal ng ULTERA eh. Kahit photos sa Facebook hindi naglo-load.
  But oddly, ang bilis ng YouTube.

  dsl and fibr plan 1299 are both supposed to be 2mbps. for fibr that may go up in a year or two. for dsl, its less sure

  thats PLDT wide. Try alternate DNS's or wait for the undersea cable break to get fixed.

  Hi, as per news i read online; dsl plan 1299 will be upgraded nationwide to 3mbps by the end of april 2016. In the same list; the 1299 fibr plan is still 2mbps with no information if it will be updated.

  We are also using the same DSL Plan 1299 (HOME DSL) and so far, mabilis naman. 2 weeks na ito since nakabitan kami. And consistent 2 mbps except pag peak hours (7 pm to 10 pm ata), medyo di abot ng 2 mbps samen pero mabilis pa rin. :) Tondo Area din kami.

  only these are the capped plans under pldt
  1. ultera - all plans
  2. DSL - dsl 1299 speedster (this is different from dsl 1299)
  3. fibr - fibr lite 1899

  Magtatanong lang ako mga sir, plano namin magpakabit ng Plan 1299 DSL, sa mga taga Tondo Manila na nakaPlan 1299 DSL kamusta internet connection niyo?
