    Meron ba sa inyo naka try ng G SkillRipjaws na memory? I planning to start my Ryzen build by buying DDR4 Memory.
    Meron kasi ngbebenta sa aking ng 1month used 16GB (8x2) DDR4 RipjawsV 2400mhz for $120 (nego). Thanks.

    Ako yan ang gamit ko sa current setup ko. No problem naman pero if mag OOC ka ng RAM wait ka po ng ibang response di kasi ako nag OOC.

    Ripjaws X at Trident Z ang ginamit ko sa FM1 APU at sa FM2 APU. Wala akong naging problema sa compatibility kahit wala sa QVL ng motherboard yung gamit ko.

    Tama lang yang 16GB for gaming para sa 2017. May mga games na gumagamit ng 5 to 7 GB RAM.

    Kung may extra budet ka, get a DDR4 3200. May tulong din sa gaming ang RAM speed. Digital Foundry <click here for link> tested DDR4 2133, 2400, and 3000 and have found gains on Core i7 7700K. The GPU used is GeForce GTX Titan X.

    thanks sa mga reply, i am thinking of getting 3000mhz pero yun kasi AM4 board na napipili ko eh 2666mhz max lang ang supported, hopefully mag labas sila ng future BIOS update para sa mga board.

    ang mahal kasi ng Trident its around 160usd for 2x8gb, in my opinion kung kaya mag dagdag get 16gb, hindi na din kasi worth kumuha ng 8gb lang ngaun, seeing how much ram requirement ng mga games, hindi magtatagal 8gb will become minimum req.

    TridentZ 3200C14 can do 2666 CL 11-11-11 for just 1.4V sa RVE. Assuming maganda ang Memory Controller ng Zen, that's about the best kit na worthy ng investment.

    You can get the kit locally. IIRC, around 11K (last year) yung 4*8GB kit niyo dito. Yung store sa Annapolis Cubao. Talk to them about getting the C14 kit. (since bawal magbigay ng exact name ng store)

    Or pick ng DDR4 Kit na may mababang Timings kahit di kataasan ang clock. Timings matter a lot sa DDR4.

    Mejo pangit ng exp ko sa RipjawsV 3200 C16. I would advise against that. Maganda din mamuhunan sa Hynix IC. Low clocks with tight timings. Gumagamit din ang G.Skill ng Hynix. Yun nga lang walang info dahil generic brand nila ang RipjawZ4. Whereas, makakasiguro kang Samsung B-Die yung TridentZ 3200 C14.

    Based sa nabasa ko, X means XFR. Extended Frequency Range.

    They said it's more of temps-related, this XFR.

    How high can it go, everyone is eager to know. Pero yeah, as mentioned above, yan ang idea ng XFR.

    XFR essentially, is not yet user overclocking. It's still a part of the design. So consider it as a giveaway. Pag nag OC ka pa past that, another giveaway. So para ka lang kumain sa Mang Inasal, free sabaw at extrang sabaw. :D


    In other news, someone said sa SMS na 25 times better double precision performance DW ang iooffer ng mga palabas na GPu this year! Kamangha! Napanganga ako eh! Kunwari buyer, poser pala!

    Hindi ba kasabay yung mga Ryzen 6c/12 or 4c/8t?

    simpleng Ryzen build lang kasi ang balak ko at ok na sakin yung 4c/8t.......
