I am looking for a 16GB 3200mhz RAM. Na kita ko sa isang shop ang HyperX Predator RGB 16GB 3200mhz for the price of 8.7k(include shipping) compared to Trident Z RGB which 9.8k. 100% compatible ba ito for Ryzen?

Meron ako nakita Flare X 16GB 3200mhz 16D timings for roughly 8k. But since 500 lang ang difference sa Predator RGB I would opt to buy the Predator RGB since mas madali ma sell in case I want to change my RAM since RGB is already a thing now. XD

I'm using GSkill Trident Z RGB 16gb 2x8gb 3200Mhz CL16 F4-3200C16D-16GTZR.
I use the current xmp profile which is 3200Mhz 16-18-18-38. Ok naman wala namang issue.
I'm using MSI B450m Mortar

Expensive parin ang F4-3200C16D-16GTZR which is 9.5k compared to Predator RGB 16GB 8x2 3200mhz which is 8.5k.

for mems compatibility running 16GB w/ 3000MHz & up, sure shot will be any variant populating only 2 DIMM slots for all released Ryzens, for most of MSI mobos. Check website, BIOS_UEFI update is available.. As for the 32GB w/ 3000MHz & up, safest I think is to consult board & mem manufacturers. Dual Rank na kasi yan kadalasan as opposed to the 16GB variant na may single rank pa rin na distribution sa merkado.
Bottom line, depende pa rin sa procie + integrated memory controller, then sa mobo version of BIOS_UEFI, to support the mems. Hopefully, the next iteration of Ryzen coming this year could address the IMC + 4 DIMM slots populated issue (running as advertised speed w/o timings penalty).

good to see RAM prices is going down. pero wala pa rin makakatalo sa prices ng ddr4 back in early 2016. sayang hindi pa ako bumili noon, naghihintay ng ryzen kasi for 2017 :)

any link here on this topic na about OC a ram sakali? lalo using a MSI mobo? (using b450 MSI gaming pro carbon specifically) and using a G.Skill Trident Z RGB 3000Mhz ram (i know this is not a ryzen certified but will try somehow), salamat :)

^trying to make 3200mhz, if cant, then ill stay it to 3000mhz :) cause im not sure if needed to on the XMP profile before i gonna try the "Memory Try It!" part and up the volts or something....

may option sa bios na pwede mo is set yung ram mo sa 3200mhz (not memory try it!), gawin mo lang auto timings pero magiging default nyan is 16-18-18-18.
If unstable sa system mo 3200mhz, set your DRAM voltage to 1.35v then bawas bawasan mo until maranasan mo ulet instability.

A-XMP ko to
Profile 2? then gawin ko ang volts to
1.350v, after that bawasan ko na lang ang volts until maranasan ko na lang ang instability?...
also what do you use for mem test? or just play games na lang?...

wag kalimutan timplahin ung Soc voltage ng mobo. try 0.9v ~ 1.1v kapag unstable. mine's registering at 1.15v. MSI b450 mortar & GA b350M Gaming 3.
