Suggestion ko go for DDR4-3200 CL16 memory kit with good Ryzen compatibility. Performance wise almost the same narin ang DDR4-3200 CL16 and DDR4-3600 CL18 in games and DDR4-3200 tends to be cheaper sa atin.

Usually hindi worth it to spend more on expensive memory especially if may risk na hindi siya maging stable at the memory kit's rated speed (DDR4-3600 for example). Pwede ka naman bumili ng DDR4-3600 memory kit and hope na stable siya at DDR4-3600 speed with your CPU + B450 motherboard combination, but hindi siya guaranteed. If you want more performance na hassle-free, spend more on the CPU like Ryzen 5 3600X or Ryzen 5 3700X which has higher boost clocks.

and i heard 5700xt minimum power supply needed is 600w anong power supply ba ang 650w na hindi masakit sa bulsa?

Just check the videocard manufacturer's website on the minimum and recommend power supply wattage for their RX 5700 XT videocard. Usually the minimum PSU wattage they mention is 600W and the recommended is 650W (for Sapphire). Others like Gigabyte recommend 600W for their RX 5700 XT models while PowerColor recommends 650W ~ 700W minimun for their Red Dragon and their Red Devil cards respectively.

Suggestion ko is go for an RX 5700 XT na mababa ang PSU requirements (Sapphire Pulse or Gigabyte) since you will not be overclocking anyway. Then buy a Seasonic S12III 650W PSU for Php 3,250 or step up to Seasonic Focus GM-650 for Php 4,500. If you plan to go for a heavily overclocked RX 5700 XT, a good option is FSP Raider II 750W for Php 3,500. That PSU should be able to handle high power cards like the PowerColor RX 5700 XT Red Devil.
  • Mga Sir

55c-60c Full Load temps while extreme gaming is not too bad ba for Ryzen 5 2600x using only stock cooler? Thanks.

idle temp naman is nsa 39-40c browsing net.
and motherboard temp naman is 28c

no intake fans just 2 x 120mm exhaust on back and top.

    Specs:
    Ryzen 5 2600x
    B450 Steel Legend
    NZXT H510
    EVGA Supernova 650w G2

Malayo pa sa 95c thermal limit.
  • ^buti kapa at ang idle mo nasa 39-40 ako nasa 50c ang idle ko 2600x din gamit ko.
  • ^ nasa New Zealand kasi ako sir pa winter na dito kaya parang aircon 24/7 yung rig ko hehe

  • worth it pa kaya bilhan ng AIO Watercooling tong Ryzen 2600x ko? or kung hindi ko naman I OC at gaming lang naman okay na po kaya yung TEMPS ko?
  • @Xtian46

Buy it only if you need it. Have you monitored your CPU temps while gaming? Are you planning to overclock? Do you really need to overclock while it's summer ?
  • Namatay yung 5600XT ko sa gitna ng quarantine. GG. Pagkatulog ko ayaw na bumukas ng windows. Nag reinstall ako ng windows, nag on ulit yung PC.
  • ^may warranty pa yung 5600xt mo
  • @Xtian46
san ka sa NZ sir? Rotorua ako
Halos same set up tayo sir
    2600x
    B450 Tomahawk
    Phanteks P300
Next summer mag Gammaxx 400 cguro ako for temp maintenance and long life.

@dhanzer update mo muna yung windows build mo.

Haha. Who knows kung malilift na to by 14..
  • Good day mga ka-TPC, newbie question lang about overclocking:

Ask ko lang sana kung bukod sa CPU Ratio ay ano pa ang need i-adjust sa bios? May nababasa ako about undervolt, silicon lottery at kung anu ano pa from YT and medyo nakakalito. Need ko lang sana ng quick guide and more on layman's term about overclocking my AMD Ryzen procie.

    My current specs are:

    CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 3600 3.6-4.2 Ghz 6c/12t
    HSF: Deepcool Gammaxx 400
    MOB: MSI B450M Mortar Max
    RAM: T-Force Delta R TUF Gaming 2x8Gb 3200 CL16
GPU: Gigabyte RTX 2060 Super Gaming OC 3 fans
    SSD: m.2 Adata XPG SX8200 Pro 512gb M.2 NVMe
    HDD: 2tb Seagate Barracuda hdd, 256mb 7200rpm
PSU: Seasonic Focus GX Gold 650watts PSU, full modular
    ATX: Omega XO Case
FAN: 3 Case fans and additional 3 Deepcool RF120b

*Nag try ako i-on yung game boost sa bios and my processor boost from 3.6Mhz to 4.2Mhz
*Nag try din ako mag overclock using CPU ratio for up to 42.00 (4.2Mhz)
*Gamit ko pang test is Cinebench 20, H/W Monitor

Thank you sa sasagot and magbibigay ng magandang explanation!
  • anyone experiencing mouse lag/stuttering issue? not constant but every few seconds mag lag siya ng miliseconds. basta yun mouse maramdaman mo hindi siya smooth.

my araw na okay naman then after a few days babalik nanaman yun lag sa mouse

    system
    3700x
asus B450-I (bios version 3004) or bios issue padin ba.
Gskill Neo Z 3200mhz CL16 (hynix) wala sa QVL list ng MOBO ko, siguro kuha ko ng nasa list ng QVL or B-Die after quarantine
    Samsung 970 Evo plus 512GB
    GTX 970
    SF600

    i tried
    changing windows power plan settings
    updating drivers (chipset, gpu, others)
    wired/wireless mouse
    reformat reinstall windows

Gaming mouse ba gamit mo? Kung gaming mouse try mo palitan ung polling rate(1000hz to 500hz) test mo kung may issue parin
  • @garie234

yup nagawa ko na yan also tried wired mouse since wireless tong gamit ko, 500hz desktop use 1000hz for gaming.
  • ^

    using 20.3.1 drivers

pag firefox no issue... pag chrome kelangan talaga naka disable hardware acceleration.. I had 1 reboot while playing apex legends with chrome on the background tapos naka on hardware acceleration

  • is it worth upgrading from gtx 980ti (stock) to Sapphire vega 64 nitro plus? And in terms of power consumption ba, magkano yung increase sa bill? averaging 6 hours of gaming per day. TIA! :)
  • Post deleted #12292631
  • Post deleted #12292656
  • Based on Guru3d.

  • @rrjez

sa new gen ryzen 3000 pinaka sulit na talaga mag precision boost nalang. un opinion ko, so pag dating sa cooler, di na nag mamatter kasi kaya na ng stock although you can opt for AIO's or noctua's for silence
  • ^

  • just upgraded ryzen cpu from 1500x to 3600x

    MB: ax370 gaming k7
    RAM: Gskill Flare 3200 2x8gb CL14 samsung
    Nvidia GTX1070 Super Jetstream
    AIO CPU cooling - highest

    Cinebench R15
    No OC multicore - 1599
    with OC 4200 / 1.25v multicore - 1668

Idle temp (bios boot) - 45C
    Highest temp 83C (cinebench)

Ilan highest result niyo sa bench at temps? ibang iba temp sa 1500x, mas mainit 3600x

  • @rrjez

set cpu options to all auto, tapos enable precision boost. Pag ni monitor mo yung cpu clock mo dapat nag rarange sya from 3.6 to 4.0 ghz and tumatalon din yung temps.

if you set your fan curve aggressively like i did at first, you're gonna hear it ramp up from just opening google chrome. ganito yung culture shock sa ryzen 3000, ngayon ung fan curve ko saka lang umiingay kapag nasa 75C na. I opted for silence
