agree sir.. i dont play games that much, multi-window ng android emulator usually and running on 24/7...
so far it's on 3rd day, running all my everyday apps without a hitch... but my conscience telling me that I still need that 5800x or 5900x when the budget permits. :)

Hi all. Napilitan na rin mag upgrade.
R7 2700 non-x, B450 aorus M, gtx 1060 -> RX 6700XT (masakit po, kailangan pa ng PSU upgrade)
Di na ako happy sa 1080p performance ng older gpu, at gusto ko ready for 1440p120/144hz. Sayang lang ndi available ung SAM sa ryzen 2000 / b450.
Tanong ko lang kung meron/wala PBO sa ryzen 2000 (non-x) or if ung board mismo ung meron/wala. Sayang din ung 4.1 max single core kasi di ko pa nakita umaabot. Thanks. -

Non-X doesnt have PBO options.
3600 is fine for most games... you wont feel the difference between 5600x and 3600 without an FPS counter....
Bottleneck ang 3600(x) if you're using RTx 3070 above. Ramdam mo difference at 1080p and 1440p. S -
Madali lang naman mag OC at manual timings ng ram right?
Baka mag 2x16gb ddr4 3200 cl16 na lang ako na Crucial then OC to 3600 at set manual timings na lang. -

Driver issue, had the same issue when 5700XT was new in the market back in early 2020. Pero ngaun ok na yung drivers ng 5700xt, yan kasi issue sa AMD pag bagong lbas na hardware medyo mtgal mag mature drivers nya. -

Ty paps. Observe ko lang kasi sa World of Tanks and BF4 (so far), sa simula ng match, may chance na maDC/crash to desktop, pero after a few mins in that map, d na nagDDC/crash pero inconsistent stutter pa rin. Unplayable ang CSGO pero pag android emulator and warthunder, wala issue. Try ko other games and observe na lang muna.
Nung una kala ko power issue kasi bigla na lang 0/50mhz ung clock speed dun sa hwinfo/gpu-z. May workaround ba or intay lang?
Also, usually ano ung release cycle/sched ng amd drivers? Galing ako sa nvidia GPU at di pa ako nagkakaissue sa drivers dun since 8800GT eh.

Ung Rev E.. Pero ung locally available which I tried PITA, Single Rank 16gbit chips rev B, for those who can't tune secondary and tertiary timings manually, I don't suggest/recommend them.. Its not just as easy as some say "set mo na lang sa cl16"
In addition, it won't even run the xmp/docp profile without a little bit (or should I say much) tinkering..
If you are still going with the purchase I suggest look for the dual rank ones (8gbit chips)

try to change yung pciex16 to gen3 sa bios from auto.. baka makatulong
i'm using 6800xt peo wala naman ako stutters sa mga games ko -

Your curent one is already the best, take those reviews with a grain (i take them with a truck loads) of salt, reviewers are comparable to. Noobs, sila yung "set mo lang ng cl16" and goes away with it there are plenty of 1st hand users out there na gamit talaga nila ang system for a long time na mas reliable, yung kit na gusto mo if its "really" another Rev E die then its good, there was a post over reddit kase na lately yung mga ballistix lineup has been revised to use the Rev B die (wasn't clear if the reason for it was to cut cost) ..well pick one carefully I'd say.

try mo enable virtual super resolution then change to 1440p pati sa games.. check mo kung stutter pa din -

After - stutter
Turned off Freesync (monitor, windows setting, display) - no stutter
Will update this post after testing other games

naka gigabyte board din ako. mas maganda mag flash ng bios using freedos (rufus) then use efiflash
make sure na mag clear cmos ka muna then load defaults.. flash bios then after that clear cmos ulit -

Disable Enhance sync. Common cause ng stuttering.
Na confuse talaga ako sa mga B Die or E Die na yan.
Naging relevant lang yan nung Ryzen 1x00 and 2x00 series for RAM overclocking (rated speed). Generally, wala ng bearing ngayon sa 5x00 series. -

Maybe found the problem. Ung monitor mismo. When freesync is enabled at the monitor (ung physical buttons), nagsisimula nanaman ang stutter (hang for 0.5-1 second, then play normally for 10-15 sec, then hang ulet)
Nung nasa 1060 pa ako, not an issue, so maybe freesync/driver?

Disagree, specially ung mga laro na di masyado gpu demanding masyado mababa gpu usage causing it to stutter, no choice ka kundi taasan mo resolution like 4k using trixx or VSR para tumaas gpu usage mo sa di demanding na mga laro. Nakuha ko 5700XT(sapphire nitro + version) last january 2020, madalas ko na eexp stuttering sa mga di masyadong demanding games. Kelan lng naging ok ung drivers sakin ng 5700xt, late 2020 na ata around october.
