Globe DSL Capped (1299) or BayanDSL (Unli 1299)? (Tondo Area)

    Good Eve!

    So I am down with the last two ISPs with the exception of PLDT and Sky since di kami pwede kabitan.

    Which is much more reliable? Need ko siya for basically skype with my dad abroad, online gaming (DN SEA), Surfing or Browsing, Streaming and paminsan minsang downloading.

    Need help po which is better in terms of speed and reliability. Globe 1299 (50 GB Limit) or BayanDSL 1299 (Unli 2 MBPS)? Sa may Tondo , Manila Area po kami. Thanks po and pasensya na po dami ko tanong

    From what you're basically doing, you'll be needing unlimited service for that. Go for BayanDSL

    Unreliable ang service ng bayan.. 3x ko nireport yung prob sa connection ko bago nila ako pinuntahan. Tapos di pa nila naayos. I've switched to globe. Mas ok at stable connection. 2 years ko nang gamit.

    @michyah - Pano pong unreliable? No internet po ganun? Mas worse
    pa po sa witribe? What plan po kayo sa globe?

    BayanDSL is a good ISP, yun nga lang it differs area by area, kahit naman sinong ISP merong lugar na good at bad.

    For Globe naman, bubulagahin ka naman sa capping nila. Seriously 50GB bandwidth cap is not enough for home users, lalo na kung hindi lang naman ikaw ang gumagamit.

    My best advice is survey your area, go ask your kapitbahay kung naka BayanDSL sila or Globe and ask what their experiences about it. You can also go to computer shops and check what ISP there were using. If in your survey ok naman ang performance ng BayanDSL overall, then get that one. If globe naman, well good luck na lang, but I heard that meron silang unlimited plan (pero hindi naman) na 2mbps at the same price, of course globe yan so may gimmick, once na ma reach mo yung cap mo (which I guess its' 2GB or 1GB) magiging 30% na lang speed mo so that's 600kbps.

    Usually po kasi ang mga gamit dito is PLDT Home DSL talaga kaso ito pong house na nirerent namen is blocklisted na daw po di na daw talaga pwede.

    Actually nakaBayan internet na po kami dati pero di po DSL and way back 2009 pa po yun. Nakaglobe pocket wifi din po ako ngaun habang wala pa net.
