base on my experience pag wala ng load matitira na lang eh yung mga ABS CBN channel nila..
tapos after a month mawawala na din yung ABS CBN

Guys, ask ko lang kung meron ba analog/composite/component ports yung digibox ng sky direct?
Meron lang kasi ako analog tv sa probinsya. Para sana magpakabit ako.

Di ko na nirenew subscription ko kay cignal sayang kasi wala naman tao sa bahay and gabi na ako nauuwi mga local channels lang pinapanood ng tao dito. Ok ba SkyDirect? May bagong mga channels ba?

kung tipong saktong nood lang ng TV, Sine at News Channel, ok ang sky direct. imagine 99 pesos lang kada buwan. -- that's the minimum plan btw. May on-going issue sila with NBA Premium. sayang hindi siya available sa ngayon. kasama pa naman yan sa plan 99.

Guys lilipat sana ko from Dream to SkyDirect. 2.5k skydirect digibox lang (+installation fee and 3x 250 load). Good deal na ba? Kukunin nila yung box ng Dream ko.

Ok lang po ba na kapalit ng Cignal plan 520 ko yung Sky Direct 250? NBA Premium lang naman talaga habol ko.
Naka Netflix na din kasi ako, kaya wala problema sa movies.

^wala na po NBA Premium in ALL local cable TV since Oct 1, 2019. Hindi na nagrenew partnership ng Solar and NBA. Last I heard naging joint ventures daw among Sky, Cignal and NBA yung upcoming one. Wala pa announcement however how this will materialize and what content Sky's going to televise under what platform.

I think Sky and Cignal will bag the acquisition on the rights to broadcast NBA and they don't need to buy the airtime to Solar. Its a win-win solution for both network but stiil, we don't know if Solar will lend a chuck of the meat on the table so that they still have the license to broadcast it.

^I doubt Solar can or even want to join the consortium anymore given they've already lost their profitable edge of being the middle man between NBA and the big cable operators. Once cignal and/or sky eventually seals the broadcasting deal with the NBA, there wont be any major business that Solar can manage out of it. Those 2 giant cable operators (cignal & sky) accounts for the most CATV nationwide specially with DTH tech that can practically reach anywhere even remote areas.

Wala na ba ang Sky Direct. Planning to get one just for the exclusive channels.
