I have a gsync monitor (owned two, and was a gsync user for a lont time na), and all I can say is you can live without gsync/freesync. Regular vsync / fast sync / whatever sync will do.
Faster framerates on the other hand, gives a more "sulit" feel to it and has less buyer's guilt tied into it in the form of bigger numbers in benchmarks and fps counters.
tldr; buy a faster card your budget allows.

how about yung regular 60hz monitor sir paired with gtx 1070? oks na rin ba? di pa talaga ako nakakagamit ng above 60hz na monitor kaya di ko alam kung ano pakiramdam. medyo sumablay kasi supplier ko sa monitor ko.

suggest ko mag 144hz monitor ka na once na nakapag 144hz ka na di ka na babalik sa 60hz

Plan ahead and spend your money wisely.
If you're not aiming for freesync/gsync, you'll be spending too much for a 1070's FPS output since hindi maaappreciate ng 60hz monitor yun. I suggest lower it down to a 900 series or even a 700 series. Basta if not going for an adaptive sync monitor, aim for a 60+ fps benchmark GPU. anything above 60FPS is a waste. -
actually, nakabili na ako ng monitor with freesync. pero papalitan ko ng gsync monitor since gtx 1070 nga nabili ko. pero pareho pang di nadating. sa ngayon, tiyaga muna ako sa 60hz.

ok ayos yan then! go for an AMD GPU then with freesync. sabi nga nila pag nakaexperience ka na ng adaptive sync na monitor di ka na babalik sa normal na monitor. :))

actually baligtad sir.. mukhang sa monitor ang papalitan ko kaso mas mahal nga lang. add pa ako ng more than 10k. gtx 1070 kasi makukuha ko. baka kapusin kasi ang rx 480 sa 34", pero malalaman pa this week. palpak kasi ang supply ng supplier ko.

Para sa akin mas ok ang GTX 1070 + 1440p 60hz IPS monitor combination. Well, dipende din kasi sa nilalaro mo yan kung more on FPS/Shooter/Racing/Strategy/Fighting/MOBA ka eh go for 1080p/120/144hz. Kung more on RPG/Adventure/Simulation/Turn Based games naman nilalaro mo eh mas maappreciate mo better image quality ng 1440p/60hz monitor.

current monitor ko kasi sir ay 27"/1440p/60hz.. di ko pa na experience yung above 60hz. target kong monitor dun sa pina-replace kong LG 34 uc98 ay Acer x34 predator, ang problema, walang makuha ang supplier ko. end of this month, kasabay nung dating ng pina-replace kong LG na up to 75hz lang using freesync. meaning, papalitan ko gtx 1070 ng amd card para masulit yung freesync ko. ang hirap kasi dito, laging kulang kulang ang stock nila. kungalin ang mauna, tatapatan ko na lang ng card na dapat para sa kanya...

Hmm medyo naguluhan ako dun hehe so balak mo eh palitan yung GTX 1070 ng AMD card kasi walang available na Acer x34 (gsync) kaya mag 75hz Freesync monitor ka? Tama ba? Haha naguluhan ako dun. Kasi kung ganyan plano mo better stick with GTX 1070 na lang. Yung Freesync/Gsync tech kasi works best at lower fps to provide consistency and avoid stuttering kung yung videocard mo hindi makahit ng consistent FPS at parating bumababa vs sa refresh rate nya. Kung yung GTX 1070 mo kaya naman mag hit hg 75fps consistently eh di mo na kailangan magpalit palit ng GPU. Masusulit mo lang talaga freesync kung yung fps mo eh inconsistent ex. naglalaro between 30-75fps.

playing adventure games i.e. witcher 3 on a 1080p with more than 100hz will look glorius ( quoting a friend), I myself am looking into buying at gtx 1070, right now am using a 970 and tweaked the settings and I am getting around 75~80 fps on Witcher 3, and all I can say is it's miles ahead when I was running it on 60hz before.
siguro ang titignan mo when buying gpus and monitors is,
one : ano bang gusto mo ma achieve? gusto mo ba supersmooth while sacrificing fluidity, or balancing the graphics? supersmooth with maxed out graphics and maxed out resolution?
or minimum sayo is basta playable yung game kahit 30 fps lang :V -

gulo ba? ako rin, naguluhan.. dalawa option ko. kung maunang makuha ang lg, ill go with amd card. pero kung x34, gtx 1070 ako... pero sad to say, parehong wala sa supplier ko lahat. bayad na eh, kaya pinapaikot ikot ako.. -
