Dapat kasi yung mga registered MAC address lang ang may access sa net. Ganon yung sa PLDT namin. Kaso yung sa case ko ngayon sa Sky, kahit may registered MAC address na, lahat pa rin ng may password, may access sa internet. Bale hindi gumana yung MAC filtering.
Baka may mali/hindi ako ginawa? Any suggestions po?

Basahin mo yung nakasulat sa MAC filtering ng router mo. Nakalagay doon, the list will block, hindi allow access. Isa lang naka listang mac address, kaya siya lang ang hindi makaka access.

Yun nga eh, yung naka-list diyan sa example ko, may access pa din siya kaya parang hindi gumagana.

Biggest drawback ng alternet, mahal install fee. 2799 pesos. Sayang kung nagkataong pangit sky sa lugar mo.
Assuming na maayos naman ang sky sa lugar, sulit siya kung talagang backup internet lang dahil 199/month lang most of the time. Tataas lang bill mo pag pina upgrade mo temporary to 25 to 100mbps, kung nag down main isp mo. Pero kung gagamitin mo siyang main isp at iuupgrade mo din lagi yung speed, better subscribe to a higher plan na mas mura pa install fee at 999. Mas mura din lalabas yung monthly fee.

Sino naka experience ng random disconnection sa wifi using Skyworth modem? May kailangan ba itweak sa option o kailangan ng separate router?

Sa dating bahay ko technicolor. Noong lumipat ako at kumuha ng new plan, skyworth na. No problem experienced in either routers.

Now that we have PLDT Fiber installed (needed for the faster upload speed for our work at home), I was able to switch our old Sky Broadband 100Mbps/P2899 plan down to the P199 Alternet plan to keep our SkyBB connection as a backup instead of completely terminating our account.
For those that want to switch to Alternet, you might have to call the Sky hotline a few times to get a knowledgeable representative as the reps I first spoke to didn't even know that existing SkyBB subscribers can switch to the Alternet plan (provided your contract has already expired) and kept insisting that it is for new subscribers only :-P -

Sa akin din, pagkaalis ng installer pinalitan ko agad. Wala naman nangyaring masama.

Speed test ng alternet is 1.2 to 1.3Mbps sa basic plan. Pwede mag top up to 25 to100Mbps with corresponding additional charges sa bill.

mas mabilis response nila pag sa mysky app ka mag send kesa sa customer service email.

May nakapag upgrade na ba ng skybb modem through service request? Yung modem ko model Arris DG860 since 2016 pa. Gusto ko na sana palitan since nagupgrade din ako ng plan from 50mbps to 75mbps.

Nag set-up ako ng wired access point to my bedroom. Prior the 5day maintenance nung October sa subsea cables, okay naman latency sa access point. Then during the maintenance, pati main router sobrang unstable ng speed. Now, my issue is, after everything has gone to normal, mataas ping or latency na nakukuha ko sa access point even normal naman sa main router. What I usually do is, change the channel of the access point and my latency issues is resolved. Kaso need ko palagi magpalit ng channel para mababa latency kay access point. What could be the issue here? The CAT6 lan cable, the access point router, or something? Ang hassle kasi na papalit palit ng channel

Kung important sa iyo upload speed, dont get sky. Get sky if you want the cheapest package and if cable tv is a valued add on for you.

I'm planning to get a dual band router to fix disconnection when using bluetooth..nabasa ko kasi dahil same 2.4g daw ang wifi and bluetooth kaya nadidisconnect ang wifi.. kelangan pang ireboot si router every time..balak ko po yung tp link a5 kasi pasok sa budget..madali lang po ba like plug and play lang or do I have to do something advanced? Thank you po.. ????

^ yung sa plan namin coaxial ata since cable+internet plan kmi. yan ba yung dulo is parang male port tapos circular yung kableh then na lolock sa modem? seems like it.

Majority ng sky, coax ang gamit. Konti lang yung direct to home fiber. Limited pa yata as of now to some buildings and condominiums.
Yan dahilan kung bakit asymmetric, mas mababa upload speed. Limitation ng coaxial cable. -
mga sir, saan settings o meron ba yung router tc7200.dcp na mag lagay ng DNS? kasi gusto ko i block yung mga ads sa youtube doon sa mi box s. meron ako nakita DDNS pero parang default yung nakalagay at di mapalitan eh

sa mga masters na naka alter net? Paano po ba mag top up dito? di ko makita yung para sa alternet sa add-ons page nila. How long po bago mag take effect yung speedboost after top up? Kakainstall lang ng alternet ko a few hours ago I had too after yung nightmare na 8 days na sira ang PLDT connection ko sablay yung mga home wifi dito sa area ko.

May mga naka Deco M4 Mesh na po ba dito?
Yung installer kasi sa Phone nya na set up yung Deco Mesh, di ko tuloy mapalitan ng ssid at pw.
Puede ba i reset yung Deco M4 at i se set up ko na lang uli via App sa Phone ko?
