  • Sir @DeAntagonist, question lang po...ano po mas okey in terms of capacity and WIFI emitting?

    Yung Skyworth MR610 or yung CM5200 for 5G?

    Sabi po ng Sky customer service about the CM5200: "Please be advised that Wifi 5g range is shorter that 2.4ghz. It's estimated range is up to 198ft only. If you want to extend your wifi signal you need to install a wifi extender."

    Eh di ba yung CM5200 nila ang mas latest ng device?

  • Hello po. Can anyone help me po regarding sa Upload Speed ni Skybroadband? Kapag umaga po hanggang around 6:10pm in the evening okey naman po internet namin, pero kapag 6:15pm onwards na yung upload speed na nasa 20mbps nagiging 7mbps, worst hanggan 2mbps. Boosted po ito few months ago, dating 75mbps po ang plan with cable, ginawang 125mbps po ni Sky for free. Pero for the previous weeks, ganito na ang scenario.[

    Ang taas ng Upstream power mo. Should be less than 42~dBmV lang yan dapat. Okay naman ung Downstream power.
  • Guys na experience nyo na hndi makita ung wifi? Hndi visible ung name nung wifi nung sky di tuloy ako maka connect bigla nalng nagkaganito naka ilan reset na ako
  • Bakit kaya pag nagsspeedtrest ako sa servers ng sky, maayos naman yung ping, pero pag ibang servers na ang nakaset, biglang tumataas?

    question, yung speedboost ba, is it permanent? last month 80mbps palo ng speed namin, tapos this month back to 40mbps na ulit.

  • Bago na modem iniinstall nila sa new subscribers 16x4 na. Nag request ako ng modem upgrade. Reply sakin Skyworth CM5200 lang available. Sana yung dumating technician dito makipausapan na itong bago iiinstall. Ito pala model ng bagong modem nila <click here for link>

    Update: Tumawag sky sakin, out of stock daw yung bagong modem. Need to wait for a few days daw. So pa upgrade na kayo para mas maging stable connection niyo

    kailan ka po nag request? Last week pa ako nag request at wala pa din update katapos ng tawag nila nung last saturday na out of stock daw
  • Has Sky's Alter Net plan been discontinued? When I login to alternet.mysky.com.ph it just says "no product available" .

    Does this mean that our account that we downgraded to the 1.5Mbps P199/month Alter net plan last January (to be the backup for our main PLDT Fibr connection) is stuck to just 1.5Mbps with no way to boost the speeds when we need it as a backup?

  • New sky sub here, 20mbps 999, usual lang ba sa sky na mataas ang packet loss for online games? I'm playing Apex and getting 20 packet loss, literally unplayable. I've tried na ako lang magisa gumagamit, same parin. Haven't encountered this with my main line na globe 25mbps.

  • Grabe higpit ng Sky ngayon. Nawalan kami ng connection kagabi. Tumawag ako ngayon kung bakit, sabi sa'kin "temporarily disconnected" daw yung boradband namin dahil hindi nabayaran within 5 days ng due date. Samantalang dati hindi ako nakakapagbayad ng 1 month pero hindi naman nila dini-disconnect.
  • 3 days lang inabot pinalitan na nila yung old modem na technicolor tc7200 ng skyworth cm5100, wala namang nabago ganun din wala ding Qos at bandwith limiter, ang nadagdag lang yung WPS feature. need ko pa tuloy bumili ng 3rd party router. note: walang bayad pag pinalitan yung modem kung ilalagay ng technician ay "as defective" ganun ginawa sa akin kahit wala naman sira old modem ko.

    sky is not good on online games especially on USA/Euro servers, what more on Asia or SEA game server

    Currently playing a MMORPG (private server) on UK-London and it lags (1 second) when they post server-wide messages

    In short... sky is bad (nasty) on online games, been a suscriber since 2000 when Destiny Cable and until Sky Cable bought them and currently on plan 999 (10-20mbps plan)

  • sa wakas dumating yung replacement modem ko. nakakatuwa naman sila. literal na deliver lang ng modem tapos up to the subscriber to contact tech support. pano pala kung hindi masyado technical yung subscriber. maghihintay uli sila ma-activate, hays
    6 days din inabot since nung nireport ko sa kanila na busted yung luma ko na Technicolor modem. Pinalit is Skyworth CM5200
