Tiklop yung mga nagmamarunong dati na eka mali daw marketing nila or faulty ang chip or whatsoever, they feel cheated daw which is kasama na ako dun haha.

good day mga boss, tanong lang po i just bought ryzen5 1600 ask ko lang sa task manager and device manager lumalabas 12core siya. i know 12 threads siya pero bakit 12 physical core lumalabas sa kanya? thanks

Normal lang yun sir. Yung pinapakita sa task manager is logical cores ng Ryzen 5 1600 and not physical cores. Also the same with device manager, yung pinapakita is logical cores instead of physical cores.
Although I agree na parang weird yung behavior ng device manager, kasi it should only show physical cores.

Nice upgrade sir, ang laki ng talon in performance coming from Phenom processor :-)
I also suggest overclocking the Ryzen 5 1600. Hindi kasi siya nag boost to 3.6GHz kapag more than 2-cores na yung under load. So stuck siya sa base clocks of 3.4GHz kapag above 3 or more cores na ang ginagamit.
Easy overclock ang Ryzen 5 1600 and kaya niya ang 3.7GHz - 3.8GHz on all 6-cores with the stock cooler :-) -
Buti nalang hindi muna ako nag upgrade to Ryzen 5 3600... it would not have made a difference in Borderlands 3 which I was planning to play hehe...
Pero what is interesting is may malaking uplift yung Ryzen 7 3700X over Ryzen 5 3600. Could be the 8-cores... -

- Borderlands 3 on PC is USD 45.00 so around Php 2,335
- Ryzen 7 2700 is Php 9,800 sa isang well known shop
Assuming plan mo talaga bumili ng Borderlands 3, parang lumalabas na Php 7.5K nalang yung 8-core processor ^_^ -

Sana announce narin ni AMD yung pricing ng Threadripper models nila para pwede din i-compare :-)
May chance nag-adjust din si AMD ng prices nila since nag announce na si Intel. So malamang strategy ni AMD is undercut si Intel sa Threadripper pricing. More cores for less price parin.
Pero interesting din ang Core i9-10900X if it also performs well in games. Price is reasonably close to Ryzen 9 3900X but with 2 cores less. Pwede siya sa mga streaming builds or content creation / productivity + high-end gaming on the side.
Bumaba narin prices ng X299 motherboards and I think hindi malayo sa price ng X399 Threadripper boards. -

FYI, the Intel version with Core i5-10210U + Nvidia MX250 graphics + 256GB SSD already costs Php 36,500 from official Xiaomi dealers (here in PH). This laptop will probably cost somewhere above Php 25K to just below Php 30K, perfect for school work or coffee shop browsing or binge watching :-)

Bought PVB416G300C6K(Nanya A-die, unknown wtf) Patriot Viper 4 Blackout Series DDR4 16GB
(2 x 8GB) 3000MHz Kit kahapon sa pizzahan mga 1pm. Yung 3200mhz kit sana kaso out of stock :(
Auto BSOD kapag nag XMP Profile 1 (3000mhz 16-18-18-36 1.35v) isa lang xmp profile btw.
Tried putting manual timings and voltage din based dun sa XMP Profile 1^ pero no good, auto bsod pagdating sa desktop. I tried 1.4v voltage and even 1.5v(F) ayaw talaga.
Nagana naman siya pag ddr4 default 2133mhz and 16gb.
Tinry ko din babaan speed but same timings as xmp^, 2800mhz lang max na kaya. Pag nag 2833mhz auto bsod na ulit sa desktop.
Yung huling settings ko kagabi na hindi nag auto bsod sa desktop is 2800mhz cl14-15-15-34 yes, sinubukan ko i tighten timings pero hindi ko pa natry maglaro or memtest but nagtagal sa desktop and onting browsing.

Tingin niyo kaya faulty ram? Or baka sa mobo ko kasi wala sa QVL? Pero kasi Ryzen 5 3600 na to eh dapat mas okay memory controller dba? Aun din sabi ng mga tinanong ko sa reddit/discord
Eto specs ko: Ryzen 5 3600 / asrock b450m (agesa 1.0.0.3 ABB) btw stock settings lang lahat sa mobo(nag default/reset uefi/bios settings din ako) so hindi ako nag OC ng cpu.
And lastly sa mga nakabili sa pizzahan, dapat ngayon dadalhin ko yung ram pero pwede pa ba magbalik sa pizzahan tapos palit product or refund? Or ang mangyaari is RMA ito, bali matagal na intayan pa un? Ala ako mgagamit na ram nito pag nagkataon.

Try 1 RAM module/stick at a time. Put in 1 RAM module and then set XMP. If that works then add the 2nd RAM module.
If 1 RAM module still does not work, its either incompatible or faulty, so return it. I have the KLEVV Bolt X RAM and its using Hynix C die, I read somewhere on the internet that KLEVV is a sub brand of Hynix or KLEVV is the front facing store of Hynix to sell their own RAM. I figured that KLEVV might get good IC's since Hynix is their parent company.
