Watched the recent stream ng RTX2060 and my initial reaction is I'm impressed sa stream quality. Hopefully yung benefit malaki laki din sa old gen cards
Kung ang price ng RTX 2060 nasa Php 21K - 22K range then not so bad I guess... parang bumili ka ng GTX 1070 Ti but with raytracing features.
Hindi ko lang gusto sa RTX 2060 is the 6GB VRAM, which I feel parang tinipid ni Nvidia and is not much of an upgrade from the previous GTX 1060. For videocards at this price range, I'm expecting 8GB na yung standard VRAM configuration.
Anyone here na nakabili ng Asus Strix 2080 Ti Call of Duty edition? Anyone who can confirm please?
Edit: Been trying to reach Asus support through calls and emails but to no avail.

Nahanap ko yung link tapos sinundan ko yung instructions after which I received a confirmation email. Na-redeem ko yung code by email a few days later.
But hours of trying to reach Asus no avail. (Nagsawa nako sa kanta nila while waiting)
^Yeah did that too. Posted a new thread sa regional community.

Parang imposible to.. 30k na yung RTX 2070 mini.
Yung Zotac 2070 Dual Fan nila nasa Php 28440 nung lumabas, sa US nasa USD $499 so effectively Php 57 per USD.
Etong 2060 nila (Zotac 2060 Dual Fan) nasa Php 21950. eh sa US confirmed na ng Zotac na USD $349 (<click here for link> , <click here for link>), so effectively Php 63 per USD !?
Baka pre-order price lang nila yan, baka after local release bababa na to 20k.
Got the card! Thankfully, di siya dead on arrival katulad ng ibang 2080 Ti. Will wait for 1 month before masabi ko safe na talaga yung card. Usually kasi after 2-3 weeks daw nalabas yung artifacting, at least sa 2080 Ti GPUs.
Also, amazing support by ASUS! Tinry ko iredeem yung BFV + Anthem game code sa redemption page nila, but gave me an error sabi "This card is not sold during campaign period". So nag email ako sa given address and sent necessary details. Gulat nalang ako after 5 minutes nag reply back na yung ASUS, giving me the codes for both games! Wasn't expecting that.
Halos mag 2 weeks na yung card ko. So far so good, bugbog ang card sa stress tests at heavy overclocking and gaming. Stable at 2100mhz core @1.05v and 8000mhz mem sa mga games ko and some stress tests.
Temps under 70c pag auto fan curve; under 60c pag manual and undervolted. Ang sinet ko na date is mid-Feb to convince me na good ang card. Sakto by that time EK/Watercool is supposed to release their waterblock for the Strix, will buy whoever launches first
EDIT: From what I've seen, ang limit ng 2080 Ti talaga is power. Yung 2100mhz OC ko hindi mamaintain because of power limits, more often than not nag dodownclock siya. 125% ang max ng Strix (or 325w). Hopefully yung ROG Matrix bios have higher limits at pwede maiflash sa Strix. Power limit is definitely hindering 2080 Ti's potential.
@sleepygeepy
I can definitely see the potential doon sa mga single player, atmospheric games. For multiplayer FPS, performance is king pa rin.
Ever since I got my Gigabyte Geforce RTX 2080 Gaming OC 8G, I've always had this issue of excessive fan noise during gaming loads that made me instantly regret my purchase. The reviews always say it's a quiet card and my previous MSI 1080 was quiet as well. No complaint about the temps though because this Gigabyte is the first air-cooled card I've ever owned that manages to keep the temps below 70C most of the time.
After replacing the Seasonic S12II 620W PSU with a Seasonic Prime Titanium 750W and applying more upward force on the card using a GPU support stand to eliminate the sag, I was pleasantly surprised that the noise went away. According to RTSS, the temps and fan RPMs are the same. I did notice that with the new PSU, I can hear the fans momentarily spin-up upon bootup of the computer whereas they didn't do that with the previous PSU. Really strange but I'm happy I didn't have to get rid of the card.....
^ It's a Sound Blaster Z. I know discrete sound cards are old school but I gotta have my SBX 5.1ch virtual headphone surround. hehe
Don't you think it might be blocking the fan of the PSU?
The thought crossed my mind but I decided to keep the card as far away from the graphics card to keep it from picking up interference which was the case with the Creative SoundCore3D onboard audio in my previous mobo.
Although a Titanium rated PSU will probably never overheat on your setup hehe :-)
I was hoping for the same thing. lol But I do have a side intake case fan which most likely is helping to keep everything there cool, including the PSU which runs passively cooled almost all the time since the Hybrid Fan mode only spins up the fan at the most extreme loads.
@MrBungle
Hehe no worries... I also prefer having the PSU right-side-up (fan facing up) because I feel it gets more airflow from inside the case. The bottom dust filter of the Fractal Define C gets clogged up quickly and I'm lazy in cleaning my PC. You also have that vent above the PCI slots which I think also helps getting cool air into your PSU and videocard fans.

I wish Fractal would release an insulated steel side panel with 2 fan slots running the length of the videocard. That is something I would rather have than a TG panel hehe...

Once that Creative Super X-Fi comes out you might be retiring your soundcard sooner than later hehehe... :-P
I miss my old Aureal Vortex 2 soundcard... that was amazing hardware and super cheap too. I remember getting immersed so much in Half Life and System Shock 2 because of that soundcard :-)
