Bought the x34 gs 2 months ago and I'm very happy with the purchase. No dead pixels and other problems except backlight bleed on the corners which I'll assume are just normal for IPS.
The problem is the length of the monitor takes up too much space lengthwise, I need to move it back at least 1.5-2 inches back for a better viewing experience.
So I have 2 options. Get a new table. My current table is good enough but I think it needs at least 2 inches length.
The best option is getting a monitor arm to support the 34 inch ultrawide. I want the arm to be white because I have this all white setup.
NB H100A - Available on Lazada and Shopee. There's a new model but only the black color is available here in PH. Not a big fan of the base and the stickers.
FlexiSpot MA8 Single Gas Spring Monitor Mount Monitor Stand – Around 4,000. More expensive than North Bayou but I like the white color. I just don't like the logo because it can be seen on the sides.
What other options are available? Hopefully below 6k.
Saw this monitor online for just under 20k (I heard some computer shops sell this for even lower):
Specs and looks seem to be exactly the same as what Hardware Unboxed just recently listed as one of its best value ultrawides: the Nixeus EDG 34<click here for link>:

It seems the Mi Curved Gaming Monitor 34", the above Avision/Nixeus, and another good ultrawide, the AOC CU34G2X (now rarely found in stores), all use the same Samsung panel. I have a feeling the Viewsonic monitor I pasted above this post and a few more 144Hz 34" 1440p monitors on the market, will probably have the same panel too.
If this Avision 34G9C is indeed the exact same monitor reviewed by Hardware Unboxed (but under a different brand), then this could well be the best bang-for-the-buck ultrawide available in the Philippines at the moment.
I did a bit of a computation sa PPI, and nasa 102 PPI ung nakuha ko, which is even higher PPI than my current setup of 1080p on a 27 inches monitor at 81 PPI lang.

ako naka xiaomi 34 and I can say common talaga sa VA panels (and OLED i believe) .... sabi nila IPS does a better job with it
My old 29" LG ultrawide from 2016 (model UM58) went kaput recently and I needed a newer one to replace it. I didn't want to go the IPS route as I would get headaches after extended work sessions on my old LG, so I thought a VA panel would be better since I worked mostly in the dark, anyway.
My choices are what I mentioned on earlier posts above this one. ;-)
After a couple of weeks of looking around for something which fit my budget (25k max but 20k would be better). I was able to get a good deal from Lazada using a couple of vouchers and a 1k discount courtesy of my debit card.
I got the Mi Curved Gaming Monitor 34" for a little over 19k. :-)
The ones which I really considered where the Lenovo G34 (23k in Datablitz) and the Avision 34G9C (19.5k in Shopee but there is a 2k discount voucher available now).
What ultimately swayed me to the Mi was the really good build quality, clever cable management, and the contrast levels.
It's a good choice. Minimalist design and sturdy build. I have the same monitor but received a lemon unit. Good thing the shop immediately replaced it the next day. Considering I already used the monitor for more than 2 weeks since I purchased. All expenses paid by them too, back and forth courier fee. Avision is also a good budget ultrawide monitor. I have asked plenty of users about it. 16500 was Avision's price then versus Mi Surface's 17700, after applying my accumulated vouchers. For the 19K-20K price range, I think Mi Surface Ultrawide 34 is the winner.
^^ I would agree. the build quality alone is already better than many monitors priced as much as 5k more.
Btw, here are my calibration settings for the Mi 34:
• Brightness -- 60
• Dynamic Brightness -- Off
• Black Level -- 42
• Contrast -- 66
• DCR -- Off
• Response Time - Medium
• Smart Mode -- Standard
• FreeSync Premium -- On (I use a Radeon)
Everything else that is not on this list is set at default factory settings. Multiple applications were used to get to these numbers, including the built-in Windows calibration in the settings, Spears & Munsil, and the UFO test.
I calibrated this for use in a dimly-lit room. Lights are typically off when I'm on the desktop and I also have blackout curtains.
