  • may nagdelete ng post ko, anyway, may preorder for Alienware aw3423dw sa t3chm0vers. Asa 113k ang price.

wow.. kung ganyan lang price , for me kukuha nalang ako ng big 4k TV/monitor na pwede for pc and tv, like the s95 ng samsung or lg c2 65 inches malaki na 4k pa refresh rate 120hz
dis advantage lang walang display port , pero 2.1 HDMI (HIGH DEFINITION MEDIA INTERFACE)READY NAMAN
  • ^

Been using my Aorus FO48U Monitor since October last year. Same Panel as an LG C1 but has Displayport. Bought it for 70K+.
  • Got the 48" C1 last year. Maganda siya pero hassle ang size (I can imagine the 65" will probably be worse); sold it to a friend.

Mas ok yung 42" na lumabas na C2, around 52k yung price ngayon pero by December bababa pa yan for sure.
  • Hi

Sira po power on/off switch ng Xiaomi 34" curved monitor. Pag pinipress ayaw mag on (or off nung naka on pa PC ko)

Any idea where to have it repair? Ayaw kasi tangappin ng Xiaomi service center if not from their store or authorized online channel :(

  • Hello, any info or feedback with Prism+ 34? Thanks in advance sa inputs and ideas!

Also looking at the 30inchers that are only 2560 × 1080. I worry that my RTX2070 super will take a drastic hit if I do the 3440 x 1440 for the 34 inchers. Any info and experience is greatly appreciated.

  • Hi I have the asis rog pg349q, ask ko lang if worth it pa ba kunin yun samsung odyssey g9 may issues padin ba? any feedback would be appreciated… Thanks!
  • ^Ok na sya ngayon and I'm not even on the latest firmware version or even updated mine ever since nakuha ko sya (bought mine last May 2022 sa Samsung Store Mothers day sale). Wala na flickering and yung mga known issues sa first batches. And I have used different IPS monitors including ultrawide from LG and Acer and I have to say, parang IPS talaga sya for a VA panel. But have to be honest sa HDR, its pretty much useless dahil sa napakakonting dimming zones that I don't even use it. If you have the budget for it, why not just go for a cheaper super ultrawide or better yet, go OLED (yung paparating na monitors ni samsung ngayon sa samsung store papuntang OLED na) or yung 42 inch na C2 or C1. Sayang lang walang Neo G9 satin locally (alam ko wala din sa samsung store) mas ok na option to but either way, kahit umabot pa ng 50k yung pricing nya its still not worth it at that price kasi makakabili ka na ng OLED na C1 for lower than that price.

Lastly you have to be using either 30 series or 6000 series para maenable yung 240Hz na 5120x1440 na resolution.
  • ^Thank you sa input mo sir if given a chance would you still purchase a g9 ngayon? also meron kayang single arm desk mount na uubra sa kanya aside sa ergotron hx na sobrang mahal…

    thanks again
  • If for the price that I got it then yes na yes. But if normal price then no. If you can get it cheap then I highly recommend this.

Pero if for lower the normal price, I'd probably go with a standard 3440x1440 ultrawide instead (na OLED) or anything na OLED siguro within that price bracket. I know that the downside is burn in but the pros outweighs the cons in my use case.

As for the monitor arm, I was using this one: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00MIBN16O (just asked around sa G9 subreddit) and kinaya nga sya, no issues. Currently not using this at the moment as may harang sa likod yung table na gamit ko ngayon (by design). You can get it for 6k, free shipping and walang tax deretso na dito sa pinas.

may I ask anong firmware ver ang gamit mo? I am encountering some problems lalo na dito sa flickering
    <click here for link>

  • Currently still on 1015.2 (ito yung version it came with). Its fine on my end, haven't encountered any scanline issue or flickering (except pag may new driver update/installation) kaya di na ko nagupdate sa latest.

I tried looking for videos sa youtube nung issue and compared it with mine, so far ok naman on my end. From what I've seen sa mga video, mas kita sya sa icons with blue, grey/dark grey or violet na color so I'm trying to replicate it. Also it usually happens daw sa 240hz so have you tried if 120hz lang?

I've recorded a video ng screen ko here at 240hz:

I also tried to replicate this video from youtube as kaya nito matrigger yung scanlines using yung ROG wallpaper na site: <click here for link>

Here's my attempt on that and so far no issues naman:

  • Hi, aside sa ergotron hx or yun amazon basic na namentioned ni sir Boinkeru baka meron kayo alam na alternative para sa monitor arm para kay samsung odyssey g9… I already tried North bayou’s G50 that can hold up to 16kg pero hindi padin kinaya :( sana meron kayo ibang alam na alternative.. kapresyo na kasi ng isang monitor yun ergotron hx :(
  • ^Mahirap makakita ng monitor arm for that especially locally. The Amazon basics is your best bet since its a rebranded ergotron. Nakuha ko sya with Paymaya discount so less than 5k lang sya nung nadeliver directly here. (Meron nito sa lazada kaso 9k). Do note may later units na may issue with tilt pero madali lang workaround. Another alternative is the Vivo Arm (sa amazon din). Ito talaga pang 49 inch.

If you don't mind, how much nascore mo for the g9. Was going to buy one locally but ended up just buying abroad since di available yung Neo dito.

    @Boinkeru

Working ba sayo yung tilt? Again, sa mga later units may issue kasi sa tilt so I just jerryrigged something to make it stable. So far ok naman na sya as I rarely tilt my screen.

  • Yung first arm na nakuha ko, no. So I returned it and more or less the replacement works fine. Dun sa first one, had to use an M14 hex bolt/screw and insert it in the tilt joint, working naman but mejo OC lang kaya nireturn ko. Baka nga may units talaga na may issue sa tilt but either way its an easy fix naman if you don't want to return it. And for the price, you really do get what you pay for (pero still better than spending an actual arm and a leg).

Yung tilt fix looks like this:

  • ^Napapalitan yung tilt joint, thats what I did. Nabibili din sya sa Amazon, just look for a heavy duty one. Since rebranded ergo yan, may replacement yan sa amazon.
  • I bought mine for 68k sa JDM…

yun amazon basics ba na tinutukoy niyo is yun same na nabanggit ni sir Boinkeru?

and also I would like to hear your opinions balak ko sana ipawelding nalang yung tilt joint since yun arm itself kaya naman ng north bayou g50 si g9 sa tilt lang sumablay

Eto ata yung Vivo (79usd) up to 44lbs: <click here for link>

-- edited by Boinkeru on Mar 08 2023, 09:27 PM
  • ^mukhang new model pero mukhang mas ok yan kasi up to 44lbs, baka bilhin ko yan siguro since mawobble yung amazon basics pag nakakabit yung direct drive wheel ko.

Yung sa amazon basics is same kay boinkeru, isa lang yung model nila na yun na kaya ultrawide then gingawa lang talaga ng mga users if may issue sa tilt is pinapasukan ng screw or bakal sa ilalim para maclamp dun yung tilt.
  • @yam28

Nga pala nabili ko sakin sa Microsoft store around 4 months ago for 1150usd then shipped via LBC via sea freight for 6k.

  • Welcome!

Anyway, sayang! may ilalabas sila na white and black this month na same model, same price din.
